Re: Random: Brie Larson Says She's More Than Happy To Be In An Animal Crossing Movie

@ThanosReXXX There are some comments similar to the example you made, but you made no mention of them. Instead, you chose to highlight a comment that labels those who disagree with her opinion as incels as one of the "sensible" people in the thread.
I do agree that the people on this article insulting her are being divisive. Those on this article that are labeling people as "lonely male gamers" or "little boys" are also being divisive, but you've made no criticism of them. If being intentionally divisive is a problem, then it's a problem when people do it on either side of the argument, regardless of who started it.

Also I'm not sure what narrative you think I'm trying to support.

@ThanosReXXX None of what you said debunks my point though. You complain that others are the ones that keep the arguments going but you too are keeping it going.

"General Behaviour

Do not post - unless you have something useful to say; Only post when you have something meaningful to say or something that will contribute to the discussion."

So if a post is negative it's automatically not useful and doesn't contribute to the discussion?

"Do not "troll" or "bait" other users; Posts that purposefully or systematically go against the grain to trigger a reaction from others are prohibited. You are entitled to an opinion, but purposefully disrupting discussions with unpopular opinions to create arguments is not allowed"

If a comment is negative it's automatically trolling or baiting?

Also your comment speaks negatively of people so how is that any different unless you are trying to claim some moral high ground?

Re: Talking Point: Why Pokémon Sword & Shield's Expansion Pass Changes The Rules For The Series

I'm seeing a lot of price comparisons. I could be wrong on this, but I'm pretty sure it costs more to make a Switch game than a 3DS game, which would explain the higher price.

Also, third versions were mostly recycled games with a few new features (I think Black 2 and White 2 were the only ones with drastic differences). I'd rather they make expansions with mostly new content.

I went in with zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised! If I have one complaint, it's the Switch missing out on a lot of third party games. It's still a lot better than the Wii U days, but I was hoping it'd be a little better than this.
Lots of people are quick to say the Switch isn't capable of running a lot of games, but it's apparently powerful enough to handle the Witcher 3. That's a pretty demanding game. If they can get that running on the Switch, I'm wondering what the excuse is for a lot of other third party games.

Re: Talking Point: Switch's Blazing First Year Means Fewer Games In 2018 Shouldn't Be A Concern

If you owned a Wii U and already played Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, and Captain Toad Treasure Tracker, then I can see why this year may seem underwhelming. If you didn't then you have four awesome games to enjoy on top of all the other games that came out/are coming out this year.
I owned all of those games on Wii U but I'm still playing online matches in Splatoon 2 and Arms. I still like to go back and explore the world in Zelda: BOTW. I still play against friends in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I still complete some side quests in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. And then there's the new games that came out this year plus the ones yet to release. I am enjoying Octopath Traveler right now and am highly anticipating Super Smash Bros. Ultimate among other games.

Re: Feature: Here's What Was Announced During The January 2018 Nintendo Direct Mini

I didn't spend the last few weeks hyping this up like it was E3 so I was pleased with what was announced. Besides Bayonetta I'm not really interested in the Wii U ports but there is definitely an audience for those so I won't criticize them just because they're not what I specifically wanted. I've skipped pretty much all the Mario sports games in recent years because I feel they've dropped in quality, but this new Mario Tennis game already looks to be a big improvement over the last couple of games in the series, so I'll likely be getting that. Overall there aren't a ton of Switch games I'm interested in for the first half of 2018 but I'm still playing a lot of the games from 2017 so I'm satisfied with what's coming.
