Re: Poll: Who'll Be Your Main amiibo Buddy?

PokeMario

I'll definitely own at least a few of them. The amount I own will depend on the functionality of amiibo in future games. They're already getting support in a lot of Nintendo's upcoming first party games, but only Smash Bros. and maybe Mario Kart 8's amiibo functionality interests me. I'm sure we'll see better use of amiibo in future games, though. And they're definitely making a game made specifically for amiibo.

Re: Hands On: Wii U GameCube Controller Adapter

PokeMario

I buy physical games so I should have no problems with the USB ports. Then again, I probably won't buy a second adapter since I'll probably never have more than four people that are die-hard Gamecube Controller users, and I'd be more than happy to use the Pro Controller, which I'm sure some of my friends will use too.

Re: Wii U Minecraft Looking Doubtful As Dev Says They Have "Fulfilled The Need For Now"

PokeMario

Anyone remember when Notch made a "Wii U has no games" joke and then claimed it was because he wanted Zelda? I personally think they were trying to make a deal with Nintendo to put Minecraft on Wii U, but they probably demanded a lot of money and Nintendo refused, so Notch went on Twitter and took a tantrum. That's just a theory.

Despite owning an Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4, and PS Vita, I haven't bought Minecraft on any of those systems and I have no plans to. I have the superior PC version and it wasn't anything that would make me want to buy the game multiple times. However, having the inventory and map on the Wii U GamePad would be really useful, and I would probably buy a Wii U version.

Re: Resident Evil Revelations 2 Confirmed By Capcom, Skipping Nintendo Systems

PokeMario

Despite owning other platforms, I won't be buying this and I won't be buying the Resident Evil Remake either. A lot of Resident Evil's success has come from Nintendo platforms. Resident Evil for Gamecube, Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil Zero, and Resident Evil Revelations are my four favorites from the series, and they were on NIntendo platforms. Resident Evil Revelations was best on the 3DS and the combined sales of the PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and Wii U versions weren't that much higher than the 3DS version alone. The Wii U version may have done worse than other versions, but it had a much smaller install base compared to the others and did considerably well based on that, not to mention that a lot of Wii U owners may have already played the original on the 3DS. As for the Resident Evil Remake, that was originally remade for the Gamecube and was a success. The fact that both of these games are skipping Nintendo platforms but will be on all others besides the Vita is complete and utter bullcrap. I refuse to buy either of them.

Re: New Nintendo 3DS Models Announced

PokeMario

Right now I need to just wait for more information. The new ones are kind of ugly in my opinion and I would rather get a normal XL for Smash Bros. Plus, seeing these won't come until next year, I don't really feel like holding off for something that I could just get the circle pad pro for. I hardly use Miiverse on my 3DS so the faster internet speeds won't matter much. I don't like the design of the second stick, stylus, and trigger buttons. My only concern is that a lot of games will only be playable on the new systems. If that's the case I'll hold off until the new ones come out, but otherwise I'd rather get a normal XL, which I'll probably be able to find cheap since these news ones are coming.

Re: Talking Point: The Wii U May be Best as One of Two Consoles, Just Like Wii

PokeMario

What about the Wii U/PS4/Xbox One/PC/3DS/PS Vita combo?

Quite frankly the Wii U has been my main console for a while, I've been playing it even more than my PC. I bought both a PS4 and Xbox One back in July because 1. all of the great indies they have and 2. E3 showed me that there would be plenty of great games coming next year. I am fortunate enough to be in the financial position to be able to afford all of those consoles, but for those who aren't I'd wait until 2015 to get them if I were you.

Re: Somebody At Ubisoft Really Doesn't Like Mario Kart 8's Mercedes-Benz DLC

PokeMario

Frankly I'd be more worried about all of the day one DLC Ubisoft uses. I'm not buying Watch Dogs 9 times across multiple platforms and languages just to get all of the content. I'll get it when it's in the bargain bin for PS4 or Wii U if it has cool GamePad features (not getting Xbone version because none of my friends got it for that and the PC version requires UPlay sooooooo no).

And as it's been said many times, if you don't like the car don't use it.
