I still cannot believe what they did with the story mode...Unloch Chapter 2 conditions: Scan 500 animals.
Chapter 2: cutscene. Move forward 10 feet. Scan. End of the chapter.

The game has some good things...but this will kill the franchise. EO3 could have been so much better...it' s a real shame.

G1 is 3 gb, G2 is 10. I highly doubt THQ pays the 16 GB cart at 39,99.

Sold individually through the German shop, the only physical version at 30 bucks each...and now a dual pack for 40...
I feel really bad for all the US gamers that had to import this game. Including shipping and import fees, they got these games for 90-100 bucks probably.
This should have been a dual pack day-1. Globally. This is THQ.

One of my biggest gaming letdowns. 2nd part was brilliant. I find this game soulless. Story mode is insulting.

Day one;. EO2 (NOT you, Entrain Odyssey 2) was definitely one of the best soothing gaming experiences for me.
My hopes are actually low, but I want to support that franchise.

I don t know what will happen next; but it doesn't t look good. P3 and P4 Golden owned by SEGA sold and distributed by LRG. I need to pay import fees to buy a persona game...or now, and obsidian game.
At least LRG shipping fees are quite fair.

Xenoblade chronicles 2, playing in Uraya, if possible. The music and colours are so peaceful.

@Lizuka This preorder bonus is not free. It costs 10 additional euros, which is a lot for a foam and paper item. It will be shipped inside a big box. Those 10 extra bucks will cover the "free shipping" and I assume they will even make an extra buck or two out of each preorder.

@Tourtus There s your answer. This game sold out in Amazon US, you don t need to add preorder bonuses.

@Arcata Yeah, I feel that too. After the Wii U, the best possible outcome is not only launching a successful console, but also, dethroning the mighty ps2. The best possible continuation to a humiliating story. And I do believe it will hurt Sony. I cannot imagine this situation is indifferent to them.
I have no doubts that Switch will surpass PS2 sales. I think both will coexist for a while. There is still plenty to do with Switch. It is outdated, for sure, but it sells! Still, after 7 years.

I don t really get timed console exclusivity...this sucks for Switch owners, but glad it goes multiplat. All Atlus games should be available to everyone.
Weird timing too. Speculating here, but this will release a few months before Switch 2 releases. I don t see myself buying this day one...like I did for the original release...but I would have done it for an enhanced version for Switch 2.
They could have waited a little longer for nintendo fans. It would have been better for everyone I guess. Timed exclusive will give us the worst version.

@Roibeard64 It s very possible you missed a few towns during your visit. Not finding a store in Roppongi that sells new 3ds LL is extremely possible. I can t say the same about a small fishing village. They sell like 10 a month anyway. Regardless, they should support it.

I love how considerate all these companies are. this isn t limited to the gaming industry, but all major companies chose January for their ...."restructure" or "re-org".

Haven t played BG3...but I m glad TOTK didn't get the GOTY. BOTW blew my mind. TOTK was a huge disappointment; exactly the sequel I was hoping we wouldn't t get. TOTK checked almost every "please don't" cases I was imagining when the sequel was announced.

@kennykenny Never trust LRG.
I waited until last announced day to preorder a game that included a steelbok, and they closed the open preorders a couple of days earlier. When I asked them why they told me they were satisfied with preorder quota for steenboks. This was Ys Origins, long before LRG was bought by embracer. Things are a but better now? just slightly; I m pretty sure they will honour the dates announced; but I never wait until the last day.

@LadyCharlie iam8bit has pretty lame shipping windows. Even compared to smaller shops like superrare games. They have an awful shipping policy. If package gets lost or damaged, they will just give you the US mail complaint line. To them, their responsibility ends when they transfer the parcel to the carrier. They do offer nice products though... but they have one of the worst shipping policies. When a shop removes PayPal as PM, it s usually because they get lots of claims.

Needs persona 5 royal with 110 million ps4 users to surpass the DS? You talk about Persona like it's Fornite. Xenoblade? We might have the same gaming preferences, but you don't make the most successful console of all time by selling P5R and XC3...and definitely not by releasing a DK game or a Metroid Game. I adore the franchise you're naming...but I think Switch needs more than that.
