Rideon Japan's Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom, an "item creation" style JRPG in the vein of the Atelier Ryza series, has gone and got itself a physical edition which is available via Limited Run Games from today.
The game, which released on Switch eShop on 7th January, offers a simplified take on Atelier's action, sees you assume the role of a Blacksmith who must raid dungeons and take on quests in order to obtain the resources necessary to expand their range of goods and make a living.
Publisher Kemco's official press release goes into more detail:
Muspelheim, a nation of desert and wilderness, also named as “the Sand Kingdom.” Volker, a blacksmith's son, always dreamed of becoming an adventurer, but he finds himself adventuring aiming to become a court blacksmith at the same time!
Adventure into dungeons, get materials by gathering and looting monsters, then craft high quality equipment. Whether you equip them or display and sell them in your shop is up to you. Find other party members at the Guild and fulfill requests to progress through the story and earn rewards. There are 14 classes, faith selection, and passive skills that grant you free character customization
As we mentioned, Blacksmith of the Sand Kingdom is available now on the Switch eShop and the Limited Run physical edition is due to go live for pre-order at 5pm BST. It's priced at is $34.99 for the standard edition, or there's an OST Bundle for $49.99.

A part of me loves these cookie-cutter jrpgs from Kemco.
I can't resist grabbing a copy for the collection.
That looks a lot like that restaurant game on the 3DS, but focused on smithing instead of cooking

I like the designs similar to Ocatpath and Mercuries wings and forth coming Sanctuary. I like these types of RPG games not too much graphics aka BOTW but fun enough to play. Oh I need to go back and finish my other mercenaries wings as well.
