Re: Talking Point: Are You Suffering From Animal Crossing: New Horizons Fatigue?

Pip_Pipston

I usually play an hour or two in the morning, and then two quick bursts (one afternoon and one evening) to try and get more of my missing recipes. The one thing I find very discouraging (albiet very minor) is that even if you have a recipe, the villager will force an extra copy on you, but if you don't have it and don't want it (for some reason), you can say no and walk away! Half of the floor space of my basement is littered with doubles and triples of recipes in case I finally get around to playing it with my friends.

Aside from that, I'm still trying to figure out what my final layout is going to be, especially after realizing the Residential Services building can't be moved ;_;

Re: Animal Crossing Appears To Have Nerfed Tarantula And Scorpion Spawn Rates

I know this Animal Crossing makes it easier to get bells, but that wasn't a bad thing. This is the first time in the series that I paid off all morgages and I've barely had it a month! But that then lets me begin to customize the Island to my heart's desire, which I thought was the point. Sad to see my assumptions proven wrong.

Also I have been counting down the days til mole crickets go out of season. Curse you, increased spawn rate!!!!

I think it really boils down to price with these things. They're a lot cheaper and more readily available than most figures.

I'll probably pick up Vulpix and add a small white dot to each eye. The same could be done for Pichu to remove the look of soullessness

Re: Solatorobo Developer Open To The Idea Of Remaking Nintendo DS Exclusive

Man, I can remember picking this up years ago by chance just because of the anthro characters. We only got 1 or 2 shipped here, and I got one that came with the soundtrack. Thank goodness I did because I adore the soundtrack just as much as I loved the characters.

It's also one of the only games I've played where the very few spoken pieces of dialogue (ex: the side quest lady) are in French and not English, Japanese, or a "jibberish" language (ex: Sims, Zelda).

I'd recommend it. It's a bit clunky but I can tell the devs put a lot of care into it.

Re: Sakurai Battled Through Health Issues With An IV Drip During Smash Ultimate Development

I hope with the success of this release he can finally rest a bit or at least slow down. I understand that he would be under an indescribable amount of pressure to get everything done, done right, and on time for literally millions of people around the world. However, because I deeply respect him and adore his work, I would rather wait years for a title to be finished and close to perfection than have it in a shorter amount of time with an unhealthy Sakurai.

tl;dr- Sakurai, I love your games, but please don't kill yourself for them!
