None really, looking forward to finally fantasy 12 though.
Do people even still want resident evil 4?
The time has come.
I will get FF XII the Zodiac Age Switch version then i will sell the PS4 version i have immediately. Adios PS4 version !
And i consider two 3DS games in May 2019.
@Radbot42 I certainly do. Played the crap out of that game on GCN and Wii and will do the same again on Switch. It's by far my most played Resident Evil game, followed by REmake.
@Radbot42 I want RE4. I'll buy it anywhere I can because it is that good. I can actually play it more now since I can hide the screen from my kids or go somewhere more private.
Duck Game is amazing (for at least 2 players) and hilarious. It's the kind of game the Switch was meant to play.
@Radbot42 : I would have bought all three Resident Games (Zero, One, and Four) if Capcom had bothered to issue physical releases.
Good month. Definitely down for Saint's Row, Castlevania, Shakedown Hawaii and Assassin's Creed. The Resident Evils will be have to wait for a sale. Sniper Elite, Duck Game and Sonic Racing are maybes, depending on reviews. Part of me thinks Sonic Racing will be great, but the other part thinks the game will fall short. On the brightside, the Sonic racing titles have a better track record and consistency than some of the previous mainline Sonics...
Imma buy RE4 for the second time, though I'll probably wait until a sale. Darkwood looks awesome and tense AF. Can't wait to check that out.
Wow weirdly I'm more interested on Bubsy, as this one is from the Bit.Trip devs 🤔
That's just baffling, probably it will be the best Bubsy ever (not that it's a notable achievement, but it's interesting anyway)
Also, Duck game is nice, I have already on pc, but maybe will be nice carrying It when I go visit friends... Wish it had traditional bots
i'll be getting Mario + Rabbids, Boxboy + Boxgirl and a PC Game in May.
i'll have to wait and see how much i'll have left to get the other games on this list. i'll probably pick up Shakedown this month, if not likely next month.
@Radbot42
Not for $30!
Man it's gonna be a great month. From May into December, I'm going go broke for sure.
Going to pick up Castlevania Collection and Resident Evil 1.
I'm a sadist, so I'll be buying Bubsy when it comes out. also Sonic Racing.
May get SR. Not sure nothing other than that.
You're selling Puyo Puyo Champions a bit short in the video. It didn't exactly get a glowing recommendation from you.
Puyo games actually getting localised is a huge rarity. Before Puyo Puyo Tetris, the previous game we got was Puyo Pop Fever on the GameCube/DS/GBA/Xbox/PS2/PSP in 2003. And they didn't do a great job at localising it back then.
We completely missed out on the FIVE Japan-only Puyo games between Fever and Tetris.
PP Tetris and now Champions have demonstrated a much better effort to localise these games, too. They actually got good voice actors for starters. I hope this is a trend that continues in the future.
Any Puyo fan can tell you how annoying it is trying to play Puyo Tetris online. The fact that we can now get a proper Puyo game on Switch with improved online is such an amazing thing.
This title is also cheaper than most Puyo games have been, so it might even entice some newcomers, or some fans of Puyo Tetris to come along. I hope this series can become more popular worldwide, rather than just purely in Japan.
This is such a significant release for the Puyo community.
Man, Sniper Elite will rock my Switch this month. If I dig it enough as I did on the 360, I will double dip for the Xbox One X too. Nazi nut shots in 4K sound A OK in my book
Quiet month for me. Shakedown Hawaii is the only game on this list that I might get at launch, and there's some on there I'll get once they're on a discount but other than that I've got a nice and quiet month to catch up on my backlog some.
Team Sonic Racing and Castlevania Anniversary Collection. I might get Assassin’s Creed III
Definitely Shakedown Hawaii when I’ve got spare change, also putting Castlevania on watch list for a future sale. I kinda wish they put Haunted Castle o this collection instead of the arcade classics so I could try it too but I’m not into the smups. Good looking month ahead tho.
Woooooooo Darkwood!!! And Shakedown.
I'll pick up the Castlevania collection eventually.
RE4, 0, and REmake are all incredible games, but the prices Capcom is charging aren't quite as appealing. I'll wait for some decent sales.
Of those mentioned, just Saints Row The Third for me. However, I have several preordered games arriving this month that weren't on this list.
I will definitely be getting Team Sonic Racing, it looks great.
Shakedown and Saints Row day one and Sonic if the reviews are good.
Saints Row 3 and Team Sonic Racing for me this months <3 Already preordered both of them ^^ And hopefully Virtua Racing... IF SEGA releases that game in europe in may
13 amazing new games.
Bubsy.
THIS ARTICLE IS RIGGED.
Hopefully Team Sonic Racing is good to wash the stain that is the movie.
I don't know if all of them are "amazing", but some of them seems quite good. The only game I REALLY want on that list is RE4, but I'm still hoping for a physical release.
@KryptoniteKrunch
'Part of me thinks Sonic Racing will be great, but the other part thinks the game will fall short.'
You are Nostradamus come again
Im getting Saints Row, SHakedown, Resident Evil, Resident Evil 4. Maybe Sniper Elite, too
Really just waiting for Three Houses. Can't wait to play it!
I heard good things about Darkwood. Will wait for reviews on Shadown Hawaii. The only definite here for me is the Castlevania Collection. I don’t like having too many games in the backlog so I’m just waiting for Candace From Hyrule and Bloodstained when it comes to smaller releases.
Resi 4 is 10 bucks on PS4 right now. If I really wanted to jump back into that one I would just buy that version. I don’t see the portability outweighing the cost differential since most of the time I’d just be playing this one at home.
you're forgetting Atelier lulua the scion of arland. It will be released may 21st. atelier series is also great/amazing! Good for RPG lovers! Should be in this list. Edit and change that number to 14
Nothing for me rip, will wait for June and naturally E3 I guess
Nothing for me here, but I still have a bunch of games on my wishlish I wanna grab as soon as they go on sale, like Wargroove and Blaster Master Zero 2.
Plus, I'm busy with Ace Combat 7, Sekiro, Spider-Man DLC, Resident Evil 7 and Fist of the North Star Lost Paradise, which is - surprisingly enough - really kinda amazing fun!
Castlevania is only thing for me this month. I just got a bunch of games in April and June/July are gonna be nuts. A good month to rest my wallet and play some games.
I'm actually giddy about July.
Just the Castlevania Collection for me day 1. I might pick up any of the Resi games (again) down the line under sale conditions.
Curious to see what they've done with RE4, loved that back on the Gamecube...
Have been waiting for Duck Game - Shakedown Hawaii looks good and Saints Row 3 is fab, now all I need is Sega to release Virtua Racing as well
Shakedown and Darkwood have my attention
Don’t forget that SUPPOSEDLY.... MAYBE... APPARENTLY... RedOut will FINALLY... be coming out this month... in some form...
finally...
Not what I'd call an "amazing" line up but sign me up for the Castlevania Anniversary, provided the emulation isn't crap. MAYBE RE4 since the idea of having it as a portable could be appealing.
Team Sonic racing is on pre order and resident evil 4 is finally coming to handheld! I'd get it on release but gonna wait for a sale on it. Not paying the the thirty odd quid they want for it.
Saints Row, Team Sonic Racing and the REs are the best bets, but I still have to get some games from april (such a good month it was), and I may wait till Crash Team Racing comes out next month, to decide properly which arcade racing I should get.
Hawaii shakedown and castlevania that’s all
Nothing for me.
Reads title - Amazing New Games
Reads list - ports, couple of games I've never heard of, Sonic Racing
Possibly the most mismatched title-to-article I've ever seen on NL. May I suggest changing the title to simply "13 Games Coming to Switch in May"?
Think I've figured out how Sega is planning to sell Sonic Racing.
Look, I know there are some great ports on there, every gamer knows RE4, it's on nearly as many devices as Netflix, but for a 2 year old Nintendo console, their only console since they've pretty much abandoned 3DS, where are the AMAZING NEW games?
Anyone who doesn't want the original Castlevania games everytime they're released, should not play video games. They are some of the games that define video games. I feel bad for newer generations and the 99% of garbage that is released.
Not interested in anything on the list
Assasins 🙌 oh yeah
Just Puyo eSports, Castlevania Collection, and Atelier Lulua for me.
So many games on this list I want.
That'll be the first time I've seen Assassins creed 3 associated with the word amazing.
Usually I find that there’s something on my list of games I’m interested in buying but it’s looking pretty slow for me until Mario Maker.
I just remembered for those that like physical editions- Guacameele (1&2) is getting one in the end of May. I’ve almost bought enough them digitally a couple times but always held out.
We’ll go ahead and put me down for Shakedown, Saints Row, both RE, Castavania collection and ACIII.
Still need FF7, FFX/X-2, and FFXII, Darksiders, from last month.
@Radbot42 I still do. So many games over so many years that I never got to this. Look forward to playing on Switch for the 1st time.
Castlevania's the only one I'm interested in this month.
No Va11-Hall-A?
No Swords of Ditto?
No Giga Wrecker?
NO BLAZING BEAKS?!
And yet... Bubsy? Really???
Castlevania collection, resident evil origins, resident evil 4 & assassin's Creed 3 remastered.
I'll be getting Team Sonic Racing...eventually. I might not be able to afford it right away.
Not really interested in anything else on this list, personally.
Very Lax use of the word “amazing”.
@Hoho
Lax in your opinion fella..there will be more than enough people to buy these games..not everything can be viewed from our own core mindset.
Saints Row is the only game on the list that interests me.
@johnvboy Games like assassin’s creed 3 are not amazing in the consensus of the general public, nor is Sonic team racing going to be either. Most of the rest of these games are old. If one’s not into
Yoshi’s plodding gameplay, then one has to
Wait till June for actual console exclusives. Considering how dull 2018 was, the fact that first 6 months of this year is largely barren is super lame. The switch is so great, and has so many amazing games on it.
Definitely getting RE4. I played that game on the GC so much it's ridiculous! Very good game!
