Still had a blast playing the Wii U and I doubt I'll ever get rid of it. The catalog of Wii and Wii U titles are amazing.

I have to take umbrage with your first paragraph. The 16bit era translations were great! They were to the point and spun the localized humor the best way possible. A literal translation never makes sense. I know this due to the fan translations of Final Fantasy IV and VI out there. They are horrible but at the same time accurate.

I challenge anyone to play the FF VI literal translation vs the Ted Woolsey original translation.

I can only imagine watered down versions of both games for mobile which makes me believe I won't be interested in either. Why settle for anything less? I'd be thrilled if I was proven wrong.

It's a mess. Good idea, poor implementation.

I'm hoping for an eShop discount sooner or later for this game. I already own the Wii U version.

Never played any of the Dragon Quest games. This might be my first in the series for me.

Why do I get the feeling that this game won't release on the Switch within the next 4 years.

SNES is still the best. I'd buy this simply to support the idea that people can still develop for this system. Plus it's SNK!

Too bad the non XL 3DS is still sold out everywhere. I doubt we'll see any before Christmas in stock.

I'm a Gen1/2 fanboi and Moon is the first Pokemon game I'm really going to sink into since the GB era.

@Mr_Zurkon Nope, the $99 has been out of stock across the US with no news on when they'll come back in stock.

So the resources aren't there to release it on both? Seems kinda silly considering the game is already done and would just require porting it.

3DS sounds like the Shareware version of the game that they're charging for. I'll probably end up getting it when it's used or $20.

Never thought I'd have issues finding a 3DS this late in the systems life cycle.

That thing is garbage. Don't buy one. The controls are extremely low quality.

Some amazing games on the Wii U. Sadly the execution of the hardware wasn't up to snuff.

I dumped hours into this game. I can't see myself getting back into it with this update unfortunately. Would be nice if they made a mobile version of the game though.

No kids and family on a coach swinging a controller around. No touch screen gimmicks shown. It was a great presentation. Makes me want to learn more about it.

@JaxonH Let me rephrase, if Nintendo thinks I'm going to buy Mario Kart again, they'll have to think again. But to state the obvious like you did so well in your post, no one has to buy anything.

Well I'm annoyed that we'd all have to rebuy Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon. This might put me off from buying the console actually.

@johnodaz You aren't the first comment I've read commenting on how it looks "cheap" wtf are you comparing it to? The plastics look identical to something from XBOX One or PS4. Is this just a canned response?

Based on the reviews I can understand why it's not selling well. It just doesn't seem like the Mario RPG I'd want to play. Especially with that battle card system.

Nintendo rereleasing the SNES with all new first party titles. Confirmed by me.

I wish a modern game would come out using that engine somehow. Think Shovel Knight quality but 2-4 player online Steam Co-op of Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

a decent looking game running at constant 60fps is far superior to....well, superior graphics.

Purist nerd here, recently switched from LCD gaming to CRT and I gotta say I'm never going back to flat screens.

Gotta know what's under the hood. I can't imagine it being a FPGA sice it's so cheap. Probably still emulation similar to the Retron.

Did the DD provide any performance enhancements? From what I gathered, it was just a reader for games that could run on larger disk media.

Still makes me lol that Nintendo is shutting down a fan made project that everyone wants while their BS (Federation Force) is only selling 4000 copies in Japan.

The game no one asked or and apparently wants (besides super fans). Learn from this mistake Nintendo.

@CapricornDavid I have not seen anyone bash the developers, only Nintendo. Next Level has been paid for their work so don't feel too bad for them.

I still use my SNES almost daily. Recently I've been upgrading it under the hood.

• Installed a capacitor to the voltage regulator to remove the vertical band issue plagued by the SNES
  
• Installed battery holders for my carts
  
• Purchased new rubber button molds for my controllers
• Purchased an HD Retrovision component cable

It's like my building the best stealth SNES possible
