@JohnGrey You'd also have to port the game to assembler language as well as finding a manufacturer of the PCBs and chips. Huge undertaking now than it would have been back in the 90s I imagine.

They'll talk about Warriors and show a longer trailer and 30 seconds of gameplay. They'll talk about new Amiibo's for 20 minutes, and nothing about mobile. Whole thin will be under 30 minutes. /cynical_me

What I'd like to see is a new FE game that plays similarly to XCOM. All movement and battles are done on the same battlefield without any cuts. Players are always fully rendered with the environment.

edit: I also think they'll announce a FE game on the virtual console.

Only way to play is with the English translation of the JP roms on a SD2SNES. ^_^

I don't see myself playing Borderlands 3 on any platform.

They could have put a team together of 5-10 developers and made a Super Mario World style game which would bundle in on the console. I feel there should be something for this system out of the box. Much more appealing.

I read that whole article and at the end I've come to the conclusion that I'm glad I'm not into the meta numbers of Pokemon lol. What a chore.

My only wacky prediction is that JP and Europe will get a base system at $250 equivalent. While NA will only get a $320 bundle version with dock and a game.

Square-Enix is a great publishing company but I can't recall a game in the past 5-6 years that have been developed by Square-Enix that I've enjoyed.

Be weary of all news articles that claim "new research suggests". Question who funded the research, what were their goals, and could the numbers be messaged for a benefit.

North America will probably get 1 version which will have everything bundled and I imagine it will cost $299. The $250 rumor is probably for a base price with low HDD space.

I'm ready for the Switch but I'm not ready to rebuy every VC and Wii U title for this generation of gaming. Ugh.

Not really but I do like the face tracking feature adn it's something that should have been with the original 3DS.

A Super Nintendo and an SD2SNES is a great way to play these translated JP exclusives.

I wish I could give cash to the people who took the time to make the translations. It's a daunting task that's usually overlooked by the community.

I am, considering they dumped Wii U development in early 2016, they've had a lot of time to build up a catalog of games for the Switch. From what I've seen so far, it's a great concept. I look forward to seeing what they have to say at the next Direct.

I say it every time, I miss the old Nintendo Club.

Such a polished and refined game. The devs hit every aspect of what makes a great platformer and game in general.

Nintendo really needs to up their game when it comes to connecting friends online. Friends lists should always be visible from the main screen or the overlay and I should be able to join them in said game if they have an open session. It also wouldn't hurt for the New 3DS to get a UI update too.
