It's just a joke. The Switch 2 should be on par with PS4, if not even better. This is just not optimized and the hair of Lara Croft looks worse than on PS3.

I'll maybe try out the demo. But I'm not expecting much. The 2 predecessor games were just ok jump n runs.

I'm really unsure about the system I'll get this on. But Switch 2 is really interesting.

@johnedwin than buy it elsewhere. This is an Unreal Engine 5 game, feel glad that it exists on Switch 2.

Already sold it. Wasn't that good.

Every Wii game was compatible with Wii U. There was a complete Wii inside Wii U or the so called vWii. They actually used 1 of the 3 cores from Wii U CPU for the Wii.
That was a special case and a very special hardware.

The Switch 2 is a complete new hardware and Switch 1 games are running through emulation on it.

It looks pretty nice. But playing that demo tutorial, I'm not convinced yet. Also Sonic Racing Crossworlds comes to Switch 2 soon. That's already 2 good fun racers.
I don't think I will need this game here as well.

Alright, so I'm waiting until early 2026.
Didn't get it on XBox so far, so Switch 2 will be my version, I guess.

@Retrograde 100% true. Bananza sucks. And I felt this already in the first few hours, so I returned it.
Just a huge disappointment.

Wake me up if they patch a good game into it. Like:
Version 3.0.0

• added gameplay that's actually fun
• deleted the useless collectibles
• added real enemies

So basically, 60fps, less draw distance and a little bit sharper on Switch 2.
Besides that, looks almost the same.

As every year, no interest. These are kids RPGs in my opinion.

The fact, that coop is only online already annoyed me in the demo.
This would have been perfect for couch coop.
Another thing is the politics about the remaster of LN1.
I'm a bit pissed and won't buy it at release

Finally some ok looking cases. The Donkey Kong one looks nice.
But they can keep these controllers, these are Pdp controllers and they suck.

The imagination alone, that people prefer buying this in the e-shop instead of getting the cartridge is so weird. I don't understand why people do this.
Is it just lazyness?

Very nice. So they are now finally doing more quality controllers on Switch 2 as well. Maybe I'll get one of these.
I won't buy Nintendos overpriced controllers with no hall effect modules.

I guess you didn't watch Digital Foundrys analysis of Cronos and Star Wars Outlaws.
In both cases, Switch 2 can't handle it like the Series S.
On Star Wars, objects and details are missing on Switch 2. In handheld mode, the world(like grasses) is just stale and not moving.
And Cronos shows, how underpowered Switch 2 is with Unreal Engine 5, which was already clear before.
Cronos on Switch 2 runs like on PC with "very low" details. Even Series S renders objects with higher details.

So yes, Switch 2 is the last place on consoles.

@The21zonz @Lofoten yeah I know, that it's a mobile device. And I do like the Switch 2.
And the performance is a game changer compared to Switch 1.
I actually now enjoy games more than before in handheld mode, because of the big and sharp display.
It's just, the Switch 2 just started some months ago and it doesn't even reach the Series S. And the current Gen already reached its peak and Series S is weaker model for people with smaller budget.
And Switch 2 even has issues reaching the power of Series S.

The fate of that release is not yet written. Judgement day will come.

Even if the idea is kinda nice.
This is garbage, people will maybe try it 1 or 2 times and that's it.
Also, Switch Online expansion pass is needed. No way.

I will get it on PS5, even if prefer Xbox. But I'm collecting these on Playstation.
I don't see a major shift, when the Nintendo version looks like crap.

Cronos runs like on PC with details on very low.

Let's just face it. The Switch 2 isn't strong enough, history repeats. It's again or still the last tip of the consoles and it will be even worse in a few years.

I get feeling, they are putting a few good ones and crap ones in each collection, so more "fools" are buying more than one of them.

I love how they put in XBox as well these days. Every physical XBox game counts, since it has lesser releases.

I don't even vibe with the main game. I actually dislike it a lot.

But I'm happy, that better Nintendo games are coming very soon. I pre ordered the new Hyrule Warriors and Metroid Prime 4.

Gears 5 is one the best games ever made. The perfection of the whole series and a decade smash hit.
