The seven-year wait for this was already worth it on PC, becoming one of my favorite games from 2024, but replaying it on Switch has made me love it even more(even if Barbuta still remains an enigma to me). If I had any complaints, it's that I wish there were proper button remapping. I get that almost all the games only need two buttons, but having the option would be nice.

I think it'd be a better idea to port the other Tekkens to Switch first. Would help to build a solid install base for 8 on the system.

@VGFreak1225 I'd say so, yeah. Core gameplay is pretty low-key and the story is fairly laid-back(even with some of its subject matters).

@Suketoudara being real, they don't really "throw out" anything in Bananza. Sure, Pauline may be an adorable little time anomaly, but they don't actively try to say "those games never happened," they clearly still do. They just don't want you thinking too hard about it.

Hard agree. As fun as it is to speculate, I think it's better for the games to focus on telling good standalone stories rather than be bound by a hard canon or logic.
