Re: Former GTA Boss Dan Houser Says Zelda: BOTW And TOTK "Feel Like Hitchcock"

@UnbreakableAlex it might not be captivating for you but that doesn't mean it's the same for everyone else - such is the nature of storytelling: everyone's going to get something different out of it. I for one really liked the stories of both Breath and Tears(even if yes, the way Tears told its story wasn't the best), in addition to plenty of other current Nintendo titles.

Re: Nintendo States Its Intention To Acquire More Development Teams

@TheBigK yeah this. Buying Rare wouldn't really mean much in the end given that most of the old guard responsible for those iconic titles aren't really working there anymore. People who want a new Banjo are just outta luck at this point.*

*Yes I know Playtonic exists but personally speaking I don't really have confidence that they'd be able to deliver a new Banjo on the same level as the first

So essentially they're just continuing to invest in other developers and ensuring that good working relationships are established between them. In that case I'm not too worried. They've had a better track record with this kind of thing than Xbox or Sony has had so far.

@Grumblevolcano I doubt this very much.

Re: Two Classic Donkey Kong Icons May Soon Join Bananza As Unlockable Figures

This is interesting and I can't wait to see how they've been updated, but I wanna say, Chunky really was kinda redundant wasn't he? DK64 went and made him out to be "the super strong" Kong even though by all accounts that should've been DK's schtick. Glad Bananza rectified that by actually focusing on DK's physical prowess. Dude can pick up a boulder with way more ease.

Re: Microsoft On Its Gaming Business Going Forward: "We Want To Be Everywhere"

N00BiSH

@Serpenterror I don't think it's fair to even compare the two. Sega still gave enough of a damn to create the best games they could with the best creatives possible and continue to keep making games even now. They've made their mistakes but they never completely gave up, which I respect. Microsoft on the other hand squandered every opportunity they had and flushed their gaming endeavors down the sewer after complaining about how nothing was working even though it's their fault for meandering so much.

EDIT: Seems I misread your comment a little. m'bad.
