Earlier this year, Spike Chunsoft announced it would bring AI: The Somnium Files – nirvanA Initiative to Switch in Spring 2022.
It's a sequel to the original 2019 detective mystery adventure release, and now, the developer has shared a look at the official box art (drawn by Yusuke Kozaki) for the standard and collector's edition. Pre-orders are also available now from websites like Amazon.
Open your AI and see the AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES - nirvanA Initiative box art drawn by Yusuke Kozaki! Mizuki & Aiba return in 2022 along with new characters and some familiar faces...Pre-order Standard/Collector's Edition now! #aithesomniumfiles #AITSF - https://www.spike-chunsoft.com/games/ai-the-somnium-files-nirvana-initiative/

Below is the backstory and you can also see the trailer at the top of the page.
"Six years ago, the right half of a corpse was discovered under mysterious circumstances. The left half was never found...until six years later, when it was discovered completely fresh with no signs of decay, as though the victim was alive until just recently. Now, newly-appointed Special Agent Mizuki and her AI partner Aiba are tasked to solve the bizarre Half Body serial killings..."

I won't get it soon because I haven't played the original because I haven't played the last Zero Escape game. I honestly forgot this was getting a sequel, let alone a physical release. But unless the previous AI game doesn't grab me at all, I will someday!
I'm way too behind on even Switch games that are a priority for me to play. I literally just bought Golf Story, a game that was out a few months into the Switch's lifespan.
I really loved the first
AI:TSFNA for short.
Wait, that's still not short.
Cant wait loved the 1st one
The first game was good, so will check this one out.
@kkslider5552000 there’s too many companies out there. The whole gaming industry is saturated and there just isn’t enough time to even play all the good ones let alone any others.
Still haven’t picked up the first one. Given its current price in the cyber deals I should perhaps remedy that
Thoroughly enjoyed the first one... so much so that I then upgraded to the collectors edition!
Have this on pre-order as Col Ed also and have been giving this artwork a good Aiballing (ill let myself out)...
Good effort, not going to be as memorable as the original in years to come but I still like it. I thought it was abit too crowded at first but actually quite good composition... if theres going to be cameos fom the first games characters (pleasepleaseplease) then hopefully they simply didnt have room for everyone at the bottom and wanted to keep them a surprise.
Is it just me or does the red Aiba on Mizukis drainpipe have an enormous head? Aiba's arms are looking abit Stretch Armstrong but its several thousand times better then anything I could draw!
Super excited dosnt quite cover it...
Like others commenting I really enjoyed the first game, so I’m happy this is coming. I’ve not read into I but I’m not sure what they would do for a sequel so I’m intrigued.
Well, now I'm going to have to go back and get myself unstuck in the first game.
Really looking forward to this!
I hope they'll optimize this part on switch. Coz first one worked with a lot of frame drops.
looking foward this one, I love's uchikochi's games. Best visual novels
I just finished the first one on Xbox and I had no clue there was a sequel coming out. Really cool. I'll be checking this out for sure.
FOR REAL and here my 2019 is still unopened from the shrink wrap.......
looking forward to this one - loved the first
Very excited for this one, hoping that Date will still have a significant role in this game. I loved the chemistry between him and Aiba.
Mizuki... with pigtail? I like her hairstyle on the first game. Hopefully we can see another officer Kaniza convo
I loved the first one. I can't wait for the sequel.
