I personally didn't like the constant chatter, but instead of turning them off completely I just changed the language to make it sound like gibberish, which fits Mario better imo
I kinda figured this would happen as they were "aiming for" a 2022 release. A bit of a bummer, but I trust the Zelda team to deliver something truly special with this extra time. Now, where did I put my cryo-chamber where I will spend the remainder of the year...?
This looks remarkably similar to Crash Bandicoot, right down to the logo (the color and the font look really similar), not to mention the Crash 4-like key art with the shards and such. That's not a bad thing but maybe a bit unoriginal? The game looks pretty good, regardless.
This could be the best Pokémon game in a long time... if they gave it more development time, like a year or two. No hate from me, I like the concept and the gameplay looks cool and refreshing, but it just looks so bare-bones and empty in its current state IMO.
It's pretty dishonest of VG Tech not to mention "Demo" in the title. Sure, the full game might not have a better frame rate or resolution, but in the best-case scenario this would be pretty misleading
The art section of the museum will never be complete at this rate. Redd hasn't appeared on my island for half a month now. To make matters worse, the last time he was there he didn't have a single piece of real art. It's a bit ridiculous, really.
Oh, and I haven't had a single meteor shower. Not one. Played every day since launch.
I'm really disappointed. Locking out QoL features and buffed up units behind a paywall is really crappy of them. Isn't FEH their most profitable mobile game by a large margin anyway? This is completely unncessary and will only divide the player base further and push away day 1 F2P players such as myself.
@dizzy_boy From the NOA support article linked above: "Super Mario Maker (Wii U): Users will still be able to share levels, but will no longer be able to comment on them."
I have the Wii U version and the occasional dip hasn't bothered me that much. Mainly because of the scale. If the world was smaller I wouldn't be as forgiving.
That said, the performance inside the dungeons (not shrines) is borderline unacceptable. They are smaller than your average Zelda dungeon. The framerate shouldn't be that unstable.
I love the game to bits, though. Fantastic entry in the series.
They're releasing a Fire Emblem mobile game later this year right? It would actually be pretty smart to have a full FE title ready for Switch by the time that comes out, port or not.
"...Emily Rogers, who has correctly reported on projects like Paper Mario: Color Splash before its reveal earlier this year..." and wrong on almost everything else.
@BulbasaurusRex Oh yes, using the Pokémon brand name was definitely a mistake. What I'm saying is, writing articles about fan games isn't going to help them. That almost guarantees that the IP holder will find out about the game and will possibly be required to shut it down.
Original fan games like this one usually get left alone. I'd say that giving these projects media attention harms their chances of survival more than anything. Just my two cents.
@Marce2240 People always confuse copyright and trademark. You can't lose your copyright because of infringement, but you have to defend your trademarks.
Never, never, NEVER remake games that are still being sold in some way. This was inevitable. It's such a shame but the devs should seen this coming. An original Metroid fangame would most likely not have been a problem.

Awesome! The Tombi games are some of my favorite games on the PS1.
Re: PSA: Tread Carefully, Pokémon Scarlet And Violet Leaks Are Out In The Wild
How come every game gets leaked nowadays? Who benefits off of this apart from 5 minutes of Twitter fame?
Re: Video: What Was Your First Video Game Ever?
The first game I played was Super Mario Bros. 3 on NES at my cousin's house, while the first game I owned was Rayman on PlayStation.
Re: Random: We Need To Play This Gorgeous Fan-Made Super Mario RPG Remake Now

Re: Will The Zelda-Style 'Tunic' Come To Nintendo Switch? Let's Hope So
It's fantastic (currently playing it on PC). I wouldn't mind seeing it on the Switch.

That's good. The sooner predatory microtransaction-focused games disappear the better.

8/10. Flubbed the last two questions, but not bad.

This would be a welcome addition.

Re: Controversial "Adults Only" Murder Simulator Hatred Is Coming To Nintendo Switch
This game is pretty bad, but that shouldn't be a surprise considering it only exists for its shock value. I would recommend staying away.

Re: Guide: Animal Crossing: New Horizons: Bugs And Fish Leaving Animal Crossing After March - Catch These Critters Before April 1st
After using about 200 bait I'm convinced the stringfish doesn't live on my island. The sturgeon refuses to show up too.
Update: Caught the sturgeon
Update 2: Caught the stringfish too now
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (March 21st)

Re: Gallery: Here Are Some New Screenshots Of Zarude In Pokémon Sword And Shield

Re: After Being Review-Bombed, AI: The Somnium Files Is Now The Highest User-Rated Switch Game On Metacritic
That's equally stupid. The score is still skewed and not based on the game's merits.

Re: Fire Emblem's Byleth Confirmed As Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's 5th DLC Fighter
What a coincidence. I was just running out of blue-haired Fire Emblem characters who carry swords.

Official.
Re: 3DS Update 11.4.0-37 Brings Even More Stability To Nintendo's Incredibly Stable Handheld

Re: Guide: All The Shrine Locations In The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild
Wasteland Tower #9 should be further to the east, next to the light spot on the map. Nice guide, though. Exactly what I needed.

Re: Timing of NX Reveal Remains Up for Debate, as Insight Emerges On Super Mario Run Development

Re: Super Mario Maker for 3DS Won't Have 3D Support
I don't think a 2D platformer needs 3D, so I'm fine with this. I'm not fine, however, with all the other bs they are pulling with this port.
Re: Nintendo Download: 15th September (Europe)
I will get a physical copy of DQVII once I'm done with Spirit of Justice.
