Kind of hoping for a Cross Ultimate because while Cross does have a lot of content, I'd like to see it expanded further with a G rank.

@manu0 Yeah it's not a fighting game, so that won't work. It's a bit like Dark Souls where you have to find openings to attack and learn the enemy's movement cues.

Splatoon was a mediocre game and one of Nintendo's worst this year, yet people seem to ignore the big gashes in it's design because "it'll get better with DLC", of which has been very minor and poorly managed offering very little. The only people that still play Splatoon are those who are desperate in getting some use out of their Wii U or have gotten it recently, the poor saps.

Well I'm ditching Nintendo for christmas anyway by getting a PS4, got sick of watching all of the new big game releases going by. And I like the features the PS4 has going for it.

I forgot Pokemon got magazine reveals every so often, I've been following Famitsu for Monster Hunter X reveals, but unfortunately I stopped caring for Pokemon because my tastes have gotten a little strict for Pokemon's standards. That and X and Y were total ass.

You all are too dismissive of Splatoon's plentifully massive faults even 6 months in. I guess I shouldn't take the mind-numbing ignorance on a site called Nintendo Life after all. Glad Monster Hunter is getting a lot of love though, criminally underrated.

There's not a big enough audience for Fire Emblem over here to warrant this expensive of a release. And no, Awakening did not sell that well.

Why does Europe add "Bros" to the end of the titles for these games? Do they need to be established as brothers in the fear of how rampantly incestuous some parts of Europe are?

It urks me how much they advert Splatoon, especially with how much they advertise their "New weapons and maps" thing when it's so minor that it doesn't help at all. I and many of my friends are probably the few who think Splatoon was a ripoff and in no way worth your time. But I guess ignorance is bliss for some people.

@AlexOlney Way to stretch the truth there, friendo. The DLC weapons only slightly tweak the stats of existing weapons or add different subs or specials to them. They don't make that much of a difference as many might think. The DLC updates they have promised have felt so minor and insignificant that it got boring very quickly, even with the new maps that feel so basic with no real gimmick to them to make them stand out. Definitely not worth the ridiculous $60 price tag set in America.

I never notice anything, load times and such for starting up the 3DS are pretty long. Takes a while to load all the icons.

That's a bad move, most indies are unimaginative and very cheaply made, like those artsy platformers that do something "innovative". I'd rather have budget titles that'll last me a good 20-30 hours than an indie that typically gives me only 5. Some exceptions though like isaac.

You pathetic virgins actually think this is a decent game? I like boobs every now and again but it's just not a good game, you set your standards too low. Damn, now I know how Kingdom Hearts ended up with a fanbase, though unrelated to boobs.

I absolutely hate vertical focused maps, the vertical shooting in the game is awful with gyro controls, it's why I hate maps like Arowwna Mall and Blackbelly Skatepark, the new Urchin Underpass changes give the enemy a height advantage as well.

Hasn't Europe gotten everything the past summer? It's also pointless to get a physical copy because of how small it is, you'll have to change out the disc if you want to play something else.

I think he forgets that the fan service is there so that the game sells better with more people, it's not like people actually play Fire Emblem for the story, because it's not a good story and if you do you're a damn liar.

It's not "massive" it's big as far as Splatoon updates go, still didnt add maps or modes. I'd like them to release a lot more rather than tiny bits because it gets boring.

Dammit I wanted Return to Dreamland like Europe, I already have Epic Yarn and I hate it.

Well they already lost the upcoming console war because they announced it early, it's going to be more powerful than the PS4 but then Sony and Microsoft will release their more powerful consoles and the NX will be underpowered and third party developers won't want to make games for the thing because limitations and the gimmick would be too difficult to develop for. Nintendo you poor brainless idiots, you never learn that people and devs alike want none of your gimmicky stuff, just your IPs.

Thank God for the Kraken nerf, they're so damn annoying popping it at the last second. Maybe they can make the bubbler breakable with enough fire too, no more invincible freebe kills.

That's so damn stupid whyyyyyyy? They're just making Wii U owners feel more like crap for having one. This is something I hate about Nintendo, no concept of exclusivity and doesn't think how exclusives could help expand the user base for their console.

Too many 3DS games, Wii U barely gets any support from anyone else. The Wii U needs it's full attention, and E3 is the best place to announce games. They announce plenty of 3DS games on normal directs. Nintendo Directs that aren't exclusive are pretty much all about 3DS games anyway.

I couldn't care less about amiibo, but it makes me pissed when they push it as hard as they do and put shitty paywalls in games like Splatoon for on-disc DLC. It's absolutely stupid, but hey it's okay when Nintendo does these things because they're Nintendo.

Not too many games to choose from, a shame really. Nintendo should hold off on the 3DS for a while and focus their first and potentially third party efforts on Wii U, it's a good system. Crossing my fingers for a new Metroid by Retro, that would top my list.

Now what's the point of a literal paywall for this on-disc DLC? These challenges and their rewards could've easily been included in the package, especially for the full retail price in the Americas and Australia. It would be much appreciated considering the relatively small amount of content already included. As a young adult, I really have no desire for an amiibo, so really it comes off as pointless and frustrating for me.

I think friend matchmaking would be a great place to implement voice chat. But to be frankly honest, I play a lot of Call of Duty, and I never hear any bad mouthing, trash talking, or screaming kids. Yes, I checked, I don't have it muted. It's just not that common, just a stereotype brought on by YouTube videos of the like.

Feels a little bit faster on normal 3DS XL, but it still takes a while to load icons.

Wow that statement seriously describes every single mystery dungeon game. I've lost all hope in Pokemon after the trash that was X and Y. I honestly only enjoyed the first mystery dungeon games.

Of all the amiibos, why Marth? I guess I underestimate the number of weeaboo nintendo fans. I don't get the popularity of amiibos anyway, I find their use pointless. But if I were to get one it would be Samus, Metroid is my baby.

Suprised there isn't Urchin Underpass on there. Pre-ordered the game, super excited, the game comes out on my last day of school.

I'm probably the only person that doesn't care about amiibos and think they're stupid.
