Nintendo showed everyone what the Wii was but developers who saw it as too risky decides to not dive in - and ultimately they missed out. Their loss.

On all this other horse poo about how Nintendo's being Nintendo about carts to only profit for themselves - he's beyond deluded. It's amazing tech and carts are necessary for battery and combating poor load times.

The last thing I'll comment on is this douchebag saying how the switch / Nintendo killed Iwata.. that's beyond moronic and hideously distasteful. I'd expect someone like Lorne Lanning to be more careful with his choice of words. It's absolutely disgraceful. No matter how anti-nintendo he may be, his comments are absolutely grotesque.

This is bs.. it's not convenient to have poo timed exclusively for co-op play.. it's downright farcical.. why be limited? Heck I'm sure most would rather jump onto Gears of War / Horde Mode rather than this bs

It's plenty powerful for what it is - they must have very poor developers.

Maybe they should completely change the type of game Sonic is.. I dunno perhaps forget about the emphasis on speed entirely - or make the lack of speed central to the overall plot of the title. Make him old with arthritis or have someone steal his shoes or something.

They should blame themselves. I'm buying new releases at launch anywhere between 10-20 pounds cheaper elsewhere than game AND YES THAT INCLUDES SWITCH TITLES.

I actually like the design of the US model.. however they should've gone with the same colour scheme as the European and Japanese versions.

Sounds like sour grapes to me (clearly Nintendo doesn't want shoddy PC ports). His games are at best regarded below average and couldn't get a rise out of a Viagra induced teen-ager flicking through an Asian Babes nudie mag.. I'm actually glad Nintendo has declined to "open the floodgates" otherwise we'd be flooded with shovel ware galore (as we were with Wii)

Even though I've got Dark Souls 1 & 2 in my backlog (haven't played either).. I'd be extremely tempted to pick up a Souls game on the Switch and I'd play the out of it.. under the duvet or wherever..

Loving my Switch so far.. it just feels perfect.. Nintendo's engineering of the console can't be commended highly enough.. best designed console throughout​ the industry since the GameCube.. by far the most intriguing and accessible consumer piece of tech since the Wii.

Nintendo should shift focus on the retail front.. open your own chain of stores like Apple. Let other retailers stock and sell your items but ffs.. make your own stores. It's the only way companies like GameStop will learn. It'll also raise the Nintendo brand.

Picked this game up and we're loving it.. it's Bomberman! Don't mind it as much I thought it would bug me that it's not 60fps.. the fun couch element eases any worries.. sure a few updates wouldn't hurt.. but this is a must have game if you've picked up a Nintendo Switch or are planning on doing so!

Bad policy in my opinion as it'll deter new developers to focus on the Switch. Sure.. it probably filters out some crap however they can easily reject titles based on quality. I say open up more.. forget opening the floodgates destroy the damn gate! Just imagine the gems of tomorrow going exclusive to rival platforms

Games Nintendo.. now focus on throwing us a flurry of secret titles!!

Metroid, F-Zero, Starfox, Smash, Mario Maker, get us a few exclusives third party titles too damn it!! We need a wide range for all genres! Shooters, Third Person games, get someone to make an exclusive racer! Get Namco to make us an exclusive Soul Calibur with characters from The Legend of Zelda, Fire Emblem & Golden Sun damn it!!

Nintendo engineers deserve an award.. this is beyond what they done with the GameCube. Genius engineering.. gorgeous.. robust.. efficient.. that battery..

They should implement Miitomo into the Switch.. all those potential sales of accessories and garments for our Miis..

I'd rather Nintendo hired a third party to make an exclusive driving sim. Built from the ground up specifically for the Switch. Tired of shoddy ports with lack of effort from developers.

Honestly? If you haven't already played it you're not missing much.. I strongly feel that Square Enix dropped the ball hard on FFXV.. the game feels extremely bland which is so frustrating because it truly had so much promise.. I don't know what kind of developmental hell they went through.. but it clearly shows.. maybe it was a lack of direction or perhaps they were initially far too ambitious and ironically fell depressingly short.. (I played the game on the PlayStation 4 Pro)

Good. Web browsers on consoles are both a complete waste of time and a waste of system resource..

I'd rather they spent their time trying to make the console as snappy as possible. Wii U was ridiculously slow..
