This is so disappointing.. I hope they can change this prior to release.. even if they just add an option for subtitles it'll suffice.. really want to play this game in Japanese with English subtitles..

I'd rather have the original trilogy remastered for the Switch. I'd gladly repurchase such a release.. #ShepardFTW

It's somewhat disheartening.. sure.. however.. I still expect to be pleasantly surprised come January.. for all we know idle rumour chit chat (graphical power wise) and even if it's not I still expect it have stunning / gorgeous games. Neither Nintendo nor Nvidea would want this to be anything other than a success - sure fanboys will buy it no matter what.. but Nvidea needs this to sell like hotcakes and therefore expect it to come super developer friendly with perhaps the best tools available anywhere - this thing will be optimised like crazy

If they release this for Switch on launch day it'll be awesome

Nintendo should try to get launch exclusivity for the Switch - release it on other platforms in April / May whenever

I'm not sure how I feel about this anymore.. after upgrading my PS4 for a PS4 Pro.. I don't think I could sacrifice 4K res and go back to 1080p (by choice).. however.. Nintendo's art style usually trumps anything else.. so I guess it'll be a wait n see kinda approach..

Unless they've invented a totally different way to compress data this would be a dick move. Third party developers & publishers need an arm around their shoulders with options - not chained shackles and whips on their ass

I'm all for Nintendo ditching their proprietary cables & chargers! USB type C is the way forward! Personally though I do strongly feel that the dock should charge the switch wirelessly. It'll be convenient, less messy, feel more "high tech" and like an actual gadget rather than just a toy or videogame.

Hopefully game pushes the system hard. Obviously if they don't at least there's plenty of options these days for buying games / consoles.

Any backlash will be unjustified.. the original didn't set the charts on fire for the og Xbox / ps2. Actually.. bayonetta sold like crap on the ps3 / 360.

I'd be pissed if it can't support HDR / 4K despite coming out waaaaay after the One S / PS4 Pro (pretty sure the PS4 Slim also supports HDR)

@Octane spot on.. at launch I saw games like Batman Armoured Edition retailing for full price when the game on other platforms were in the bargain bin lol.. Mass Effect 3 pissed me off too.. they should've at least given us the Trilogy that they released on other consoles.. oh frame rate sucked too..

If it's the now somewhat aged X1 or something custom based on the now aged X1, it'll be another example of Nintendo shooting themselves in the foot like they have many times before..

All in all I hope they go ALL OUT with the upcoming Animal Crossing & Fire Emblem games. As long as the games are good, most people out there don't necessarily mind paying for IAP's. Go for it yo!!

@Yrreiht totally agree with you.. speaking of Metroid.. the NX better be a suped up killer beast.. Metroid deserves a huge AAA release that'll be an industry poster child - Prime was killer for its time.. but time has passed.. they need to rock the boat again. It's about damn time Nintendo.

There's many positives from what they've shown.. however I hope they utilise their time well to improve the look & polish of the title to make heads turn.. here's hoping the NX is a beast and pushes this baby well

Nintendo.. Whatever you make I'll buy regardless.. That's how much faith I've still got in you guys.. However I won't lie when I say that I miss the Wiimote and to some part more traditional controllers. I've secretly been hoping for a super enhanced Wiimote like controller for the NX.

How many mins a day? Lol.. Pretty sure these numbers are on the low side. Hopefully a few updates / patches will add more features and eliminate the loading screens every so often.

I like Miyamoto, always have.. but this is nonsense. I don't think anyone views E3 as a US only event due to the digital age of not only today, but since before videogame websites became the norm via the news, magazines etc etc.

Nintendo were extremely light in what they had to show and announce, third parties have almost left the Wii U completely and Nintendo didn't exactly show / do much to win back any confidence from not only any potential consumers but its current user base.. E3 2016 has got to bring it big time.

They need to push this game HARD when they release it in the west.. Awakening had a decent sized marketing budget - they need to 1+ on that.

Very excited to play this.. Only thing missing thus far is the Fire Emblem theme - hopefully there's a new version of it for this game.. Is there an OST for the game yet?

@gatorboi352 I doubt they can unfortunately.. Their inability to act accordingly is fast alienating their loyal fan base.. I love Nintendo, sure, but as it currently stands I doubt I'll be buying their next home console..

It's as if Nintendo wants this title to fail 10 times harder than it already will.
