I highly doubt they can get Cod to run at 60 FPS on the switch. Anything below that is pretty unacceptable competitive wise and so any doubt by people is warranted.

Nintendo fans can be funny. Asking for new experiences and when Nintendo tried to change up the formula with Fusion (and succeeded), it got shat on.

So what if it was more linear than previous entries, that allowed it to bring a tighter experience in other places such as bosses and being hunted by the SA-X which in my experience took the atmosphere to a whole other level.

@Diogmites I mean Nintendo EPD is developing along with Mercury and Sakamoto is the lead designer on the game so Nintendo is definitely involved.

Overall I was liking the direct and thought it was decent for the most part until they announced NSO Expansion.

The sheer audacity to demand more money for an already substandard service blew my mind.

I knew the switch would do well because even though Nintendo marketed it as a home console (I suspect for pricing of games since home console games are priced higher), I still consider it a handheld first and foremost.

That being said, battery life was always a concern for me as 3 hours or less depending on the title is not great considering how long the switch takes to charge. This concern was addressed with the introduction of the Switch v2. The v2 has the perfect amount of battery life.

Not at all. The Pokemon games, WarioLand games and Link's Awakening DX are all better.

I think by far the smartest buy for Nintendo would be Platinum games. Similar to Next Level, they already have a close working relationship with them and Platinum is so talented. Plus they are very Japanese focused and put an emphasis on gameplay which is Nintendo's mantra.

I wish Nintendo had bought Atlus when they were for sale a couple of years back, Atlus is so good at what they do.

This is why I hate when Nintendo is doing too well, they just stop caring.

@Krull The actual port of Horizon was terrible with tons of bugs. Death Stranding on PC is the optimal way to play and the conversion was top tier. KojiPro does good work.

Please go use the PS5 controller and compare it to the Joy Con HD rumble, they are worlds apart. Also as the comment below me mentions, the adaptive triggers are unlike anything ever present in console controllers as developers can fine tune the tension. Also 3D audio is amazing in Demon's Souls.

Innovation does not just mean hardware either, Sony's internal studios have some of the best proprietary game engines and tech in the world and it shows in their games. I'm not big on graphics but their games consistently look better than anything their two competitors put out.

This is all on top of the numerous times they pushed video game consoles forward with formats like CD's, DVD's, Blu ray where Nintendo tried to hold back with cartridges.

But I guess as you said, they're not innovative....

Lol at the moronic fanboys here. Nintendo doesn't own *****, Immersion does so sony didn't copy anything. Sony has already made more use of the haptics in it's games than Nintendo ever did with it's gimmicky HD rumble.

Would have bought it if it weren't such a half assed port. I'd rather spend $10 bucks more and pay for a proper remake like Demon's Souls on PS5.

Rather buy a next gen game on PS5 than pay the same price for a port that has barely been improved graphically since the Wii U. Nintendo has become extremely lazy now that they know they can get away with the bare minimum.

Pretty irresponsible to give this collection a 9.... This is perhaps one of the laziest ports I have ever seen.

@playstation_king its mostly just a Nintendo thing. The last of us was barely a year old plus it included all the dlc so it made sense for people to play on ps4 who might have had a 360 the previous gen. Pikmin 3 along with dkctf, NSMBU, xenoblade chronicles DE are all years old.

Also there are much better value remakes such as shadow of the colossus, ratchet and clank ps4, medevil, crash n sane trilogy, spyro reignited trilogy all for $40 usd.

Honestly all that's left is for 3D World and the two Zelda's (particularly Wind Waker since it's a full remake) to come to switch.

Jesus christ... What a waste. If Nintendo refuses to make this series the way that fans want then they should just let it die. Sticker star was complete ass and Colour Splash was just pointless to play.

@Crimson_Ridley Don't blame people for what is clearly another Nintendo oversight. Granted I would probably download the correct version but there are a lot of kids who play pokemon games and when they get their parents to buy them something like this, the parent probably doesn't know any better.

Glad to see that Aria is at number 1. I do feel that Harmony and Circle should both be higher as well. The Castlevania GBA trilogy is stellar.

Dawn is very close to Aria barring the ridiculous art style and gimmicky touch controls.

I don't care about most of those apart from the two zeldas especially wind waker, super mario world and pikmin 3.

I have to disagree. Next gen might be the biggest jump we'll ever get because ssd's are being standardized and so even pc gaming will be pushed forward.

Thanks to this new standard, game design is going to evolve as developers will have a lot less restrictions and limitations.

Graphics are unknown as you can only go so far before stagnation.

Fusion is one of the most unique Metroid games as it has such a focused story and the tense atmosphere of being hunted by a superior clone.

Also Super Metroid should be first......

To be honest, it's kind of lazy of Nintendo to be doing these upscaled remasters when we are getting full scale remakes nowadays for the same price. Link's awakening was a great example of a full priced remake being worth it.

It's just hard paying full price when games like Ratchet and Clank PS4, Link's awakening and Shadow of the Colossus have so much more work put into them.

Honestly next to Nintendo, I think Sony would be the best publishers to give those IP's to so I'm not exactly mad as I believe Sony would do them justice.

I would however feel weird about Castlevania not being on Nintendo platforms.

To be honest, Wal-mart has some basic nicely branded Nintendo Tee's, would recommend buying those as they are probably a fraction of the price.

@BenAV I hope not dude. I feel like Animal crossing should not have DLC and should just be supported with regular small updates like they did for a while with Splatoon 2.

If they absolutely have to have DLC, I'd rather they just make something non-essential like a pack of cosmetic items.

@Zequio I always assumed that when they parted with Rare, they took full control of Donkey Kong. That would make sense considering they relinquished rights to banjo, conker, battletoads.

How is Donkey kong not on the service yet. I get stuff like Chrono trigger and ffvi are other companies but Nintendo owns so many games that are still not on the snes service.
