Also, going by Steam complaints, the audio is seriously buggy in this collection, as many sounds fail to play and the music sometimes cuts off, which is not intentionnal.

The Carbon Engine is just an alternate DuckStation, hence why only the PS1 games were included.
Even the Mortal Kombat collection includes the console and handheld ports with the original arcade release.
Goes well with how Limited Run is run, cheap as they can for lotsa money.

Also, this review doesn't mention anything about performance on Switch 1.

It's a spin-off of a mobile game, just like Nelke, those are always bleh. No thanks. Should have patched Yumia to run better on Switch.

@VoidofLight Uh-huh, heard the "the old game is bad and clunky, the new is better and superior" a million times. Doesn't make it more true, more like recency bias. I know you probably will scream "nostalgia goggles" at me, but Reload has its own issues that many refuse to acknowledge.

Reload either TELLS you stuff rather than showing it, had really bad 3D cutscenes that could have used an anime cutscene instead, butchered the difficulty and you speak about "the old game had unfitting voices" but Reload!Akihiko sounds way too old for the character.
As for the epilogue scenario, they really did not understand it, and either cut really good stuff or added stuff that was unfinitting and created some whiplash with its story.

In Japan, they still have the same voices as with the original. Igor needed to be replaced thanks to having to talk directly in Persona 5. It at least make some sense.

ATLUS has no respect for their original voice actors. I refuse to play the remake, just like I refuse to play Reload, since the new cast is bad and they cut content, only to resell it later as DLC.
Watch the Golden content being cut from the game on release day.

What's next, the P5 cast getting recasted for Phantom X because their VAs are "too old" and they need a "fresher cast"??

Switch version is censored, and Kodaka peaked with Danganronpa. His qualities as a writer suffered since he left Spike-Chunsoft. Same for Komatsuzaki, the artist, his color game is awful since leaving.
As for Uchikoshi, bro couldn't even write the entirety of Zero Escape 3, his best days as a writer are behind him.

As for the characters, almost all of them feel like bootleg Danganronpa characters, and I'm talking about the writing, not their looks.
