Maybe they changed their mind and are demoing other games coming out this year. I don't get why don't they show them off at an E3 show, seeing Zelda would be great but it is still coming out next year alongside the NX

As great as a whole day of coverage for this game sounds, this still sounds like a bad idea. It makes it seem like Nintendo has nothing new planned for the rest of the year which i know isn't true

I like the controller, i always did play off tv. If Nintendo is still using the idea with the NX then maybe they can make it better. The things i would suggest is improve the resolution, improve the distance the gamepad can be from the console, and yes make it optional for people who don't want it

As long as the Pokemon are CGI and not some gross Live Action concoction it may not be so bad

I say wait until you play it before judging it like Federation Force. It doesn't help that they have a beloved name attached to them and had an installment universally hated by the community. If Nintendo ditched the name and elements, identifying them as just random experiments they probably would have been received better. I mean even if they flop it wouldn't change our perspective on the IP we would allow look forward to the next

According to another leak the Direct (at least for Europe) would be showing off: Fire Emblem Fates, Lost Reavers, Mario & Sonic at the Rio Olympic Games, Metroid Prime Federation Force, Monster Hunter Generations, Star Fox Zero, and YO-KAI Watch. This trademark would give it legitmacy

It could have just been a tribute video with that tease at the end it didn't seem like it really needed to be a Direct. They could have maybe told us a little more about Pokken Tournament since it's releasing oversees soon or confirm Great Detective Pikachu is being localised

Why not add a new Star Fox or Zelda character then? Even if she isn't in the game Krystal is a popular choice and they could have turned Skull Kid into a playable character

Even if Microsoft owns the rights to all the Rare games released under their buyout. The collection could just be filled with games released under Nintendo like DK and maybe Star Fox. Rare has been less popular on Xbox than on SNES and N64

Well next time they should focus more on the awards and premiers rather than filler and advertisement. Most of the show just felt like filler i don't understand why they didn't just present all the awards

I remember when it was announced i think E3 2012 that Wii U supports two Gamepads but apparently that was lie. Same with GC VC, Nintendo may have been thinking to far ahead of themselves when demonstrating the Wii U

@Crimzonlogic well they are more easier than making a game in 3D. Usually when it is 3D it is a survival horror game for some reason

The Direct was alright but it didn't have enough new worthwhile info like E3. It can get boring to hear about a game we already seen multiple times from other broadcasts and articles. They could have spent more time on games with little info like Zelda U. But the Cloud trailer was awesome and great to see one last Smash Broadcast on its way, also good that Star Fox Zero has improved since E3. I expected Cloud to get the most votes but I guess not a lot of people like seeing him in

Final Fantasy VII is not the only game Cloud appeared in for everyone who is bringing that up. He is even in Final Fantasy Explorers
