What a difficult game to apply a score to! 10/10 for the games, 2/10 for the package... 9/10 seems fair. Gutted about the lack of inverted controls on Sunshine—hope I can get used to it.

@Classic603 Haha, it is horrible. Don’t ever listen to Retronauts talk about Donkey Kong! Man, the soundtrack is so special. The music to Arctic Abyss (I think that’s what it’s called) makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up.

@Classic603 oh, it’s very well liked, I definitely know that. But it’s still underrated in that underrated means held in less esteem than it deserves. You’ll very rarely hear critics mention it in the same breath as A Link to the Past or Super Mario World and some outright write it off.

DKC2 is one of the most underrated pure platformers of all time. It’s second only to Super Mario World for its era and I actually like it better than SMW. A huge step up from the original DKC in every way!

I sent my Switch in for repair (an unrelated, self-caused issue) about a year ago. My Switch was outside of its warranty and the left joy con had just started drifting. Nintendo found that it was drifting as part of their routine inspections (completely unprompted by me) and fixed them for free. I was quite impressed, though it shows Nintendo was aware of the situation some time ago.

Still no Ape Out here in NZ. Still no idea why either.

Huh, I had hoped Mutant Mudds Super Challenge had sold better. It's a brilliant game and I love the challenge, though I agree that it is lacking a bit in new features. Will buy Chicken Wiggle day one.

@Rukiafan7 @NintendoRob1977 Play Kid Tripp on IOS and Android (easily the best endless runner on mobile) and tell me it's not inspired by this series. The writer is making an excellent point. Endless runners are essentially platformers anyway - just look at the Rayman endless runners on mobile.

Not surprising but this has certainly shown the way for Nintendo. We're still possibly underestimating the impact of Pokemon GO on Nintendo as major movie deals loom.

It has been dramatically better the past 24hours.

I am LOVING it in between the constant server issues and crashes. Hopefully they're just teething issues.

And my patience with Nintendo erodes that little bit more... Nothing again this week is quickly becoming a catch phrase.

Gah, was really hoping for another SNES release on 3DS. Loving playing through Super Nintendo games on a handheld. Oh well, nothing for me again this week!

Playing Link's Awakening DX at the moment and I find his silence so endearing. No would be my answer. I like Aonuma's description of Link's silence: proud independence.

I'm enjoying it but It's no Crash Team Racing, that's for sure.

It looks good to me but the tap is a pretty lazy implementation that looks clunky to me. If I get it, I'll be using the traditional control method.

I've enjoyed every Shantae game but I also think that every Santae game has failed to live up to its potential. I really hope Wayforward push themselves this time - Guacameele showed how it could be done.

I have to admit I thought this was silly until I tried it. I have 10 badges and haven't paid for a single one. I'm just waiting for the retro Nes and Gameboy badges to arrive, then I'll spend some real money! The pink rabbit teased them at one stage and they look glorious!!!

My least favourite 3-D Zelda by far but I'll be interested to see what changes they make to it. It was very close to being a great game.

Dragon's Trap is my favourite game of all time. Make this happen!
