@Slionr different from the Snes titles but very very similar... I'm trying to think of another series that's similar but I'm blanking sorry

These are the games that blew my tiny kid mind and got me into gaming I love the whole series! Seriously, they're equal to the 'Country' titles as far as gameplay goes and they looked amazing on the Gameboy.

@King47 I freaken love it! First game in the series I've ever played and it is brilliant!!! Sailing the seas, looking for treasure and swashbuckling through huge cities is so addictive. I couldn't recommend it more highly.

@Alshain01 What are you talking about? Metroid Prime is a perfect representation of Metoid in 3D not just some ordinary FPS. You are the only person I have ever heard say that and I can tell you that you're completely wrong.

K Teslagrad and Armillo look pretty sweet. The others... I'll a it and see how they turn out. Nililumbra looks cool but I hate platformers where I have to stop all the time to change the environment.

Great list. The one thing that sets apart the Wii U from every other console I've ever had is that I genuinely want to buy the majority of games that come out for it. I've played most of these and can't wait to try the rest. Great little console!

Man, I've been dreading this review for weeks. It's a brilliant game and a 6 is an insult. I've poured about 20 hours into it in the last few weeks and I just can't stop. So many extra levels and challenges and I never had a problem with smaller screen size. Back in 1999 this game was a 10 all day long, I'd give it a 9 now.

@Gen0neD Yes but it makes sense. This game is made to look like an old game and I like to think of it as a virtual console title, hence no 3D. It would be a pretty lengthy and painful job converting it to 3D just so we can play what is supposed to look like a NES title in 3D.

Both great games! Yay! My cartridge of Klonoa ran out of save batteries and then I broke it trying to fix it haha, can't wait to finally play it again!

Donkey Kong was never going to be the Wii U's savior. I've come to terms with Wii U being doomed to mediocrity as far as sales go and I'm fine with it. Mario Kart and Smash will be a BIG boost though.

@XFsWorld That's how I felt at first but they grew on me big time.

Being so used to Mario's physics I was lukewarm on Rayman Legends for my first hour or so - I just couldn't get the hang of controlling him. Then, suddenly, it all clicked and I haven't looked back! My entire summer has been spent playing it and I can't not tune in to play the daily challenges every day. Such an incredible game and one that I've played more than any other on the Wii U (including 3DWorld surprisingly).

@Beta Do you need to have played the previous games? It's always been a series I've wanted to get into
