Re: Review: Robot Rescue 3D (3DS eShop)

I bought the last one. It was a competent puzzler with decent production values, but quite bland. I had completely forgotten about it till I saw this review I would approach with caution.

Re: Review: Pikmin 3 (Wii U)

I like that this game is about 10 hours long. I hate when games are artificially swollen with meaningless side-quests and stuff. Instead I like to replay games, if they're enjoyable enough, and this looks like it will be It also looks gorgeous! Can't wait to play it

Re: Review: EarthBound (Wii U eShop)

The wait is over and it was an epic wait at that! I think it's classy that Nintendo included a digital version of the strategy guide; that's the most effort they have ever put into their digital service Good stuff Plus, I can't believe how good this game looks!

Re: Review: Metroid (Wii U eShop / NES)

@RR529 I agree. Not all classics deserve high scores and I defiantly don't think this is anymore then a 6. It is absolutely a classic, by every definition of the word, but it's not that great to play through today. It has aged a lot, similar to the first Zelda; where as Super Mario Bros is still a blast! 6/10 from me.

Re: Soapbox: Why We Should Expect More From The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker HD

MeWario

Interesting point about swapping Ocarina of Time for Wind Waker. And I have to say i agree. Though I do love Ocarina on my 3DS, Wind Waker would suit the 3DS down to the ground, and, more importantly, Ocarina would sell millions on Wii U. Especially if it was polished like crazy. I also feel that they have half a@$ed the Wind Waker update a tad. When they realised Ocarina on GameCube the added an entire 'master quest'. Here, I would have expected them to add the dungeons that went missing in the original game due to time restraints. Still, I am excited to play it.

Re: Pachter: Nintendo Has Lost Its "Mojo"

MeWario

@Kewlan I didn't read it. My only problem with this article is that I read about this Pachter guy dooming Nintendo weeks ago and then the week before that. I don't think it's news every time he says something about Nintendo. And I'm not going to just ignore it. Nintendo Life is a site for fans of Nintendo, which I am, and I'll defend it when I hear crap like this over and over. I enjoy this site for its great feature articles and its reviews but constantly having to put up with articles about 'Pachter said this' is silly. It's like Nintendo Life are trying too hard to be non biased by posting bad news about Nintendo when it hardly qualifies as news. Pachter, like many, has been wrong before. I'm just expressing my opinion, hopefully the operators of this site know that some of us are sick of these articles. I'm no fanboy, I love videogames in general, but when I come to a site called Nintendo Life, I want to read about things important to Nintendo.

Re: Pachter: Nintendo Has Lost Its "Mojo"

I'm kinda sick of Nintendolife reporting everything these guys say. I don't care about this guys opinion, just like I didn't care about the last guy dooming Nintendo. Nintendo are perpetually in this position and they generally pull themselves out of it. I love my WiiU because it has Mario and Nintendo Land and it will eventually have Zelda and Donkey Kong and even Sonic and that's what matters to me. 'Hardcore' gamers, like myself, will probably buy two console again this generation. The PS/Xbox for shooters and stuff, the WiiU for the Nintendo stuff. Either way, millions of hardcore gamers are going to get the WiiU and Nintendo will be fine. Plus the 3ds is rocking. Please Nintendo Life, you don't have to post all this crap every day. It gives credit to these opinions when they should just be ignored.

Re: Nintendo Download: 4th July (Europe)

MeWario

@C-Olimar I agree mostly with you, but, I do wish Nintendo were more flexible with there prices. I've re bought a tonne of their games off vc but there are many I haven't gone near because of the price. If they dropped the price of some of the lesser games then BAM, Nintendo would be getting a lot more money out of me. Agree that Zeldas and Marios are worth a lot more then 2 bucks though

Re: Investor Approval Rating For Satoru Iwata Drops To 77.26 Precent

MeWario

@onlyaman Investing after the Wii and DS is a bold move haha but good luck! I think Iwata is doing a good job; sales for 3DS are humming along and WiiU is due a turn around. This generation was never going to be as profitable for Nintendo. A lot of casual gamers bought a Wii/DS and then never used them, they won't make the same mistake twice.

Re: First Impressions: Yoshi's New Island

MeWario

Hmmm all my concerns as well. I loved Yoshis Island but hated the sequel on DS. This looks uninspired like the DS one. Ill still try this out, but personally, I think that Yoshi's Island is one of the best games ever and it left nothing to be explored further. It was perfection.

Re: Ubisoft Delayed Rayman Legends On Wii U In Fear Of Low Sales

MeWario

The creators deserve to make as much money as they can from this fantastic game; gorgeous and unique titles are rare enough. The problem wasn't with Rayman going multi-platform, it was simply the false promise of it being exclusive and delayed release date. Ubisoft will hopefully learn to be more decisive in the future.
