I’m working my way through Kirby air riders, all the checklists for air ride and road trip complete. Almost completed top ride and then I’ll move onto city trials.

Going to play some of the virtual boy catalogue. Might replay Metroid Prime 4 to 100% it.

Really want Indiana Jones but might hold off and just wait for Star Fox. Love that it’s coming out so soon and looks the Foxes Nuts lol. Like that it has check lists and targets to hit, really lets me get so much more out of games 😊.

Looks amazing I so can’t wait. Hopefully we’ll get some star fox GameCube drops soon too.

@Res462 I’ve been wondering if they will add any new/surprise content that they are holding back on showing? Either way I’m excited for the next few months of releases.

@Res462 It might be they are just trying to reignite interest in the older franchises before taking them in a new direction. But I get what you’re saying.

@OorWullie I agree definitely picking up loads of Nintendo 64 and Game Cube vibes with Switch 2. Personally I think it’s great. Whilst I’d love proper sequels I’ll take anything for the more dormant franchises.

Wave Race, F zero, 1080, Excitebike, Kid Icarus and Pilotwings are at the top of my wish list. Really hoping for a Zelda OOT remake now. I literally completed it yesterday on NSO for the first time since 1998 and it was still awesome. The battle with Gannon in his tower at the end would be so cool to play through with updated visuals and mechanics.

I love newer games too and strong 3rd party support but I’m really loving what they are doing so far.

This looks awesome, I got a chromatic last year. Currently playing buck bunny and dragonhym. Would definitely pick this up too.

I’m downloading it now. Loved hades 2 and have always been a TMNT fan since the original cartoon and movie in the 90s. Can’t believe how cheap it was 👍🏻

Day 1 for me, looks good and Splatoon games are always fun and I’ve enjoyed them. Doesn’t look as amazing as 2 and 3 did however could be because we are a few games in now and also as this is a bit of a different direction. No doubt it will be good at the very least, more than likely tho it will probably be one of the top games on switch this year.

Played splatoon 2 and 3 liked both of them so this should be good. Looks a bit different but I’m open to see what it’s all about and will be there day 1. Looks perfect for a summer game.

How can you get it so wrong!! Lol. Super Mario 64 is the best obviously, then Odyssey, then Super Mario World, Galaxy 2, Mario 3 and so on. 😁

@Bizzyb Totally agree there is some real cr@p on there! Cant believe some of the total dross they’ve allowed on there. All the hentai ‘games’, dating games, generic AI puzzle games and blatant MW ripoff games. Nintendo seal of quality left the shop a long time ago lol

10/10 best in series loved it from start to finish

@slowpoke_tail I agree, going for 3 stars on all the trials and trying to unlock everything is fun. I’m really enjoying the single player, lots of the reviews I’ve seen don’t mention the 100 3 star trial challenges and make it sound like it’s just the 3 towers.

I’d have ranked Fever higher personally as I think it’s great. Really enjoying it just as much as when I got Mario Tennis on N64 all those years ago. I would put it higher than aces. I’ve played more than half, skipped the GBA, Wii U, 3DS and virtual boy. All the ones I’ve played are good to be fair.

Balloon kid is a win for GB. Need smash and DK64 for N64 now.

US/Pal one for me. As it happens I’m playing this game right now, just got to world 3 just before reading this. I turned my nose up at it back in the day, what with the PS and Saturn coming out. Baby Mario put off too. As it happens I’m really enjoying my first play through all these years later. A Nintendo gem that’s passed me by for decades lol. Going to play the N64 one at some point too as I never liked the look of it but playing the first one has changed my mind.

@UltimateOtaku91 Me too, I got MP4 and Kirby Air Riders for Christmas. I was more excited for MP4 but only have played it for an hour. I’ve over 25hrs into Kirby. Just completed Kirby Adventures on NES today as I’d never really played the franchise outside the original game boy.
I will play through MP4 but I just don’t feel drawn into it. Maybe I just need to give it a few more hours. But with Dispatch and Mario tennis both out in the next few weeks I think it will go into the background for a while yet.

Going to get Dispatch and then this, looking really good. It’ll be my second game of 2026, I really liked tennis Aces, this looks even better. Hoping it’s as good as the trailers make it look.

Not a bad initial line up, I personally like the look of Dispatch, Mario Tennis fever, Indiana Jones, He man and fallout 4 (not listed here).

@Duncanballs Definitely agree when producing hardware, as a good exclusive can really sell systems and generate excitement. Tetris, Mario land, Mario World, Zelda, Sonic, Streets of Rage, Tekken, MGS, FF7, Sega Rally, Virtual Fighter 2, Mario 64, Goldeneye 007, Halo and GTA 3 etc really sold some respective systems when they released.

It was definitely weird seeing sonic on the GBA and GameCube back in the day. To be fair if the new Halo was to come over to Switch 2 I’d probably jump on it day one. Again would be weird tho.

As an old man gamer who has been playing since NES and original GB, IMO exclusive games are what makes gaming fun and interesting.

I would hate for companies to no longer have exclusive games, it wouldn’t be the end of the world but I think gaming would definitely loose more of its magic.

Merry Christmas fellow gamers hope you all got something cool. I remember opening my presents Christmas 1993 and getting Super Mario All Stars and Zelda Link To The Past for my SNES. Now all these years later I’ve got Metroid Prime 4 and Kirby Air Riders for my Switch 2. Good times.

Yes to all the above also what about Shadows of the Empire and Rogue Squadron. I know Disney now owns the IP but it would be so good to have them on there.

@Mangoaxe5 hiding somewhere with DK64, Super smash bros, Conkers bad fur day and Diddy Kong Racing I think. Good additions this time tho, I’m not complaining, I would just like more frequent drops.

This needs to be on Switch. I hope it forces Nintendo to make a new Star Fox or at the very least a Star Fox all star’s collection of all the games resed up for Switch. One can only hope

Hyrule Warriors, now this and then Metroid Prime 4 and Marvel Cosmic Invasion next month. So much to play. Really glad this is reviewing well, I really enjoyed the test ride.

I really want this to do well, I’ve dabbled with sonic mainly in the 90s last one I really loved was adventure 2 (apart from mania). Never played any of the 3d ones after sonic heroes, I’m interested in this but have a feeling it’s going to be a mixed bag, if that’s the case I’ll still pick it up. But if it’s panned across the board I’ll sadly pass

Now that we freaked the foots, mangled the mousers and totalled the technodrome with Turtle Power. What about Shreadder and Krang? Burned to toast? Vaporised to milkshake? Or escaped to dimension X?

I can’t wait to play Bayonetta 3, it looks awesome. I’ve kinda tuned out of this all now, they may or may not have offered her a sum of money, she may or may not be lying. I can see the community interest draw but personally Ive lost interest

#sadbayonetta I don’t know what to think really, on one hand it does seem low to how much the franchise has made on the other id do it for $2000 lol. But in all seriousness it’s difficult to comment on unless you really know and understand the work in which a voiceover artist does and know the ins and outs of the situation 🫤

@Truegamer79 the shows actually really good, it’s like 12 seasons long now. Totally worth a watch got some real funny characters in it. Good voice actors too, Chris Pratt does Linda’s voice

I like it, it’s different and has its own style which is good. Can’t wait to see the movie trailer, genuinely excited for this. I remember seeing the original with Bob hoskins and my parents taking me when I was 10yr old lol, my cousin had the figures which had the jump boots on. Going to take my 9yr old daughter to see this one. Let’s be honest, like the original, even if it’s bad it will still be good lol

@BulkSlash Never got one last time but I’ve bought 2 as well for Goldeneye 007, and the other games. I was going to just buy one but thought 2 would be needed for that classic multiplayer action. Licence to kill, pistols only on Aztec.

Sadly at 40yrs old I’ll struggle to get 3 buddies round for an all night Goldeneye bender, but I’ll be able to get one over for an evening of sophisticated Goldeneye-ing, so 2s good lol

For me - If it wasn’t for Goldeneye 007, the other N64 games coming and Zelda dated then this would have been terrible, overall 5/10 and the N64 really elevated it!

That being said, Goldeneye OMG can’t wait, I’m going to have to get my pants pulled down now for one of those N64 switch controllers lol

@Lordplops me too, the visuals ain’t great but I can’t put it down, I’m really having a blast with it. Loving the deep mechanics, side missions and gyro aiming.

I like the look of this but the price puts me off quite a bit, I’ve just picked up God of war on PS4 for £12 brand new which is 2 years old this month. EA have majorly misjudged this one

This will be my first ever animal crossing game. As a long time gamer I’ve never really fancied them (or these type of games) before but something about this one has me interested and excited. Looking forward to it

Also how cool would it be if the command and conquer remake is announced? I was thinking it’s possible as blade runner is coming to switch and that’s Westwood too right? It’s not been announced for any of the console yet but was a big hit on consoles in the 90s 🤞🏻
