Played this game last night for the first time. It was pretty fun, but I am not very good at it. I am going to have to do some serious grinding to beat the hard challenge levels.
Let me first state that I have only played the 3DS version of Ocarina of Time.
That being said, I have the toughest time getting through Jabu Jabu's Belly and the Forest Temple. I always get lost and miss something in both, and then the backtracking makes me get even more lost. Once I get past both of those, I take a huge sigh of relief.
Does anyone remember Pinball Quest on the NES? Kind of a hybrid pinball/RPG game, unfortunately not really excelling at either. It was really tough, I think I only got to the third screen/table. Maybe it was better the further you progressed?
I have only played the 3DS version, so I am not going to vote in the poll, but I always get turned around in the Forest Temple and Jabu Jabu's Belly. Once I get past those 2 dungeons, I breathe a huge sigh of relief.
I don't know why people are giving others a hard time about not knowing what FOMO means. This is a place to discuss the article with one another. Sure, everyone could just look up everything they don't know, but that would make all discussion forums useless and boring.
The Fire Temple was really hard for me because I always forget there is a map. Once I slowed down and realized that there was a map, I was finally able to get through it, but there were still a couple of tough sections.
I would like to be able to make a bigger house and also customize the outside of the house. My house looks cool on the inside, but outside it is just a green box. Pretty boring looking.
I also have experienced TOTK overload. I averaged over 10 hours a day of gameplay for a month (stay at home Dad of an independent 8 year old during summer break made this possible), found all the lightroots, completed all of the shrines and found all of the armor (I did have to look up a lot of the armor locations). There are a few armor sets that I would like to fully upgrade, but I am probably ready to beat the game. I forget why, but there was a day I didn't play the game, which turned into a week, and now it has probably been about a month since I have played. I want to get the urge to play again before I beat the game, I want to be able to enjoy it instead of just beating it to say I did.

Re: 'Switch 2' Will Be An Iterative Evolution And Will Cost $400, Predicts Analyst
I am hoping they keep the OLED screen and add faster loading times. Animal Crossing takes forever to get started.
Re: F-Zero 99 New Update Now Live, Adds "Limited-Time" Frozen Knight League
Sounds cool! Pun intended!

@Ogre84 You can still download the update.

@Boo_Boy52 Well played!
Re: Eiji Aonuma Comments On The Possibility Of A Playable Zelda In The Future
The Legend of Zelda: "The Missing Link"
The title is painfully obvious.
Zelda could save Link for once.

Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
@Atariboy I guess I will have to give it another try. Thanks for the info!
Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
I never got the hype for Pitfall.
My favorite Activision games are Seaquest, River Raid and Enduro.
Re: 'Atari 50' Is Getting More Games Via Free Updates, 12 Dropping Next Week
Is each line a hint, or each picture?
Re: Best Nintendo Pinball Games
@Tempestryke It was a pretty cool idea, but also very frustrating (at least for me). If you find a cheap copy, it is worth trying out at least.

@Princess_Lilly Wow! Tell me you don't live in the United States without telling me you don't live in the United States.
Re: Fantasy Life i: The Girl Who Steals Time Will Bloom Onto Switch In Summer 2024
Looks awesome! I feel very lucky I found out about Fantasy Life right before the 3DS eShop closed and was able to get it and the DLC. Love this game!

@JohnnyMind Can you post a link to the video? I can't find it.

Probably #21. Will be back next time for another 78 months!
Re: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe (Version 3.0.0) New Character Stats & Balance Changes Revealed
I would happily pay more money to have every Mario Kart track up to this point in the game.
Re: Talking Point: If 'Switch 2' Is Backwards Compatible, What Will You Do With Your Switch?
I like to keep all of my consoles, so I will keep the Switch too.
Re: Nintendo Download: 9th November (North America)
Berzerk Recharged for me! I loved playing Berzerk on the Atari 2600, and I am super excited to play it again after all these years!
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give WarioWare: Move It?
@OldGamer999 Have you checked with your bank/credit card company? Sometimes they will stop online purchases without telling you.
Re: Talking Point: Nintendo's Still Making Them, So What amiibo Do You Still Want To See?
King Gleeok!
Enough said.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For WarioWare: Move It!
@Croctopus They weren't, but I think the Wii's motion controls work better than the Joy-Cons motion controls.
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For WarioWare: Move It!
I am also concerned about the controls. Nintendo Switch Sports was ruined by the controls for me, and I expect I may experience the same here.
Re: Nintendo Expands Switch Online's NES & Game Boy Library With Three More Classics
Cool, always wanted to try Devil World and Castlevania Legends.
Re: Video: The Mario Sports Game On DS That's A Slam Dunk
Man, if I knew these had Final Fantasy characters I would have given these games a closer look.

@jco83 Gotcha!
Re: Watermelon Game (Suika Game) Gets A Surprise Local Release On Switch eShop
@jco83 It shows up if you search "Suika".
Re: Watermelon Game (Suika Game) Gets A Surprise Local Release On Switch eShop
Downloaded! Who knows, if enough people download it, they may add other languages at some point.
Re: Review: SEGA AGES Shinobi - A True Arcade Classic Comes To Switch
Anyone know why this isn't available on the eShop anymore?
Re: Round Up: The Reviews Are In For Detective Pikachu Returns
They probably would have been better off re-releasing the Detective Pikachu amiibo instead.
Re: Hands On: WarioWare Move It! Takes Us Right Back To A Wii Classic
I am hesitant only because the motion controls with Joy-Cons don't work as well as Wiimotes (at least for me).

Looks like Sheeva is in the DS version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3!
Don't know if I will buy it because it isn't too cheap.

Is Sheeva in the DS version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3?

The original F-Zero is my favorite, with 99 in the passing lane and gaining speed.
Re: F-ZERO 99: Tips & Tricks - How To Win Races, Everything You Need To Know
Does anyone know how to unlock the black Fire Stingray?
Re: Takaya Imamura Expresses His Love For F-Zero 99, Awaits 'Revival Of The IP'
I don't know how anyone could call this game lazy. There is a lot more to it than just adding 98 other racers to the SNES game.
Re: Level-5 To Premiere Multiple Switch Game Trailers This Weekend
Hopefully with a release date for Fantasy Life!
Re: Takaya Imamura Expresses His Love For F-Zero 99, Awaits 'Revival Of The IP'
F-Zero 99 is amazing! I think anyone who loves F-Zero, especially the SNES game, would love it.
Re: Trombone Champ Makes Noise On Switch With Gyro Controls Today
I can't get past how annoying this game sounds. Maybe that is the point, but I am leaning towards passing right now.
