@Coffeemonstah Disc golf is one of the highlights of Resort, and should have been included here. I would have preferred it to standard golf if we could only have one.

Have they added a way to play standard bowling (like how it is on Wii Sports)?

North American version for me.

Side note: I wish I knew someone who bought this game back when it was new. It would be interesting to see if they were happy with their purchase, or if they pretty much had instant buyers remorse.

@AccessibleDaydream I have never modded anything, and I don't want to screw anything up. I bought my Wii U at launch, so I am hoping I got one with the good chips.

Is the fruit different, or are these just backgrounds?

I have always kept my Wii U plugged in, but I am nervous with all these reports of people having their Wii U crash and end up losing everything. I spent a lot of money on the Virtual Console because of all the great titles it had.

I just saw on Facebook that the DLC will be paid. Someone asked Digital Eclipse if it was paid or free, and they said it wasn't free this time because of the amount of content included.

I have no problem with paying for the DLC. Digital Eclipse does great work, and they deserve to get paid. Plus, having a way to play Atari 2600 Berzerk again is a dream that I never thought would come true. I wonder if the sequel "Frenzy" will be included as well?

@Notsoavid You probably already know this, but in case you don't, the 1st one is on 3DS as well.

@Serpenterror That explains it. I never played as Venom or Jill, and I was never that good at the game, so I never made it to Abyss.

@Serpenterror On the back of the PS2 Marvel vs Capcom 2, it lists blood in the rating box.

I don't remember there being blood in Marvel vs Capcom 2, but it is there in the rating box. Must be cartoonish, because I think I would have remembered realistic blood/violence.

Mortal Kombat Trilogy for me.

The loading times for the PlayStation version are brutal, totally negates having the extra characters for me.

Rain and Sheeva are who I like to play as, and thankfully they are present in the N64 version.

@SillyG I will probably just stick with the original cartridge unless I find the new one really cheap. I haven't played it in a long time, I was annoyed there wasn't a way to play a standard game of bowling instead of having to be a certain place in order to move on. I haven't even tried golf yet.

@SillyG I stand corrected. The listings on the Best Buy and Amazon websites list in the fine print that a software update is required for golf, but I can't tell if that is still true or if the descriptions haven't been updated yet.

@SillyG I am pretty sure they didn't add Golf to the cartridge yet, which was added more than a year ago, so you might be waiting awhile.

@MaxPlastic I would like to play Castlevania 64 again for a few minutes. I remember fighting a giant skeleton (I think it was a giant skeleton, it was a long time ago). I don't want to play enough to buy the cartridge though.

This will be very helpful in Master Mode.

I am curious how the 3D is going to work.

Very excited about this. Sounds like it will be similar to Castlevania II.

For those wanting a hard mode, you can always not upgrade weapons and armor, and limit your level growth.

@LastFootnote They are better than nothing, but I would have preferred the NES or GBC versions.

This would be great because I am not a fan of the mobile versions we have at the moment.

All I really want is to be able to play the actual 1990 competition again:

Get 50 coins in Super Mario Bros
Complete track in Rad Racer
Get as many points in Tetris with the time remaining

@Darkly On Nintendo's website it says the cart isn't playable. It might fit, but it won't do anything.

@Fizza You probably know this, but just in case you don't, there is Ultimate NES Remix for the 3DS, which contains a lot of the games from 1 & 2.

@LiquidNinja It is better, but there are still loading times that are annoying.

I still enjoy playing it though.

@nukatha Same here. I wanted that so badly and now it is way out of my price range.

@Serpenterror They have always felt sluggish to me, while the NES version is perfect.

I never understood the love for GB Tetris. The controls aren't as good as they need to be. NES Tetris is the Tetris for me.

I think we'll get more Rare games eventually. Hopefully sooner than later.

I am really excited about Fantasy Life, but having to wait until October is kind of a bummer.

The Rare games are cool and so is Pocket Card Jockey.

Endless Ocean is tempting.

I am hoping for Double Dribble to come to Nintendo Switch Online, if only for nostalgia.

Both Metroid: Zero Mission and Metroid: Samus Returns are huge upgrades for me.

I have always loved Castlevania II, warts and all. This looks great, I look forward to playing it!

Loved Q-Bert on the 2600. Might pick this up if it goes on sale.

@Kiyata Hopefully Digital Eclipse is working on something with all the Activision 2600 games. Something like "Atari 50" for Activision would be amazing.

@nib0 I will have to see if I got the updates yet. The crashes were so annoying.

@Ooyah I love Berzerk on the 2600, so I downloaded Berzerk Recharged day 1. I find it disappointing. Doesn't feel like Berzerk, and the game crashed on me at least 4 times. I notified Atari several times about it, but they haven't responded nor updated the game.

I would wait for a sale if you can.

@-wc- I feel really lucky I discovered this game and downloaded it and the DLC before the 3DS eShop closed. Easily one of the best games I have ever played. YMMV of course.
