@Bunkerneath Don't even get me started on that, it's a completely different game. Westwood's Blade Runner was a product of it's time, thus an amazing, innovative game with a great story and great graphics.
@PlywoodStick Conspiracy theories aren't so much about believing in lies, but making paranoid connections between various truths.
As for "complicated", I'll tell you a few things which really are: orchestration, civil engineering, heart surgery, architecture, illustration... none of these are conspiracies.
For the people who think "oh, it's just FMV cutscenes, they really needed the PlayStation for THAT?"
Well... FF VII has around 400MB of nonduplicate data overall which isn't cutscenes. Small enough to fit on a single CD, but nowhere near small enough to fit on a N64 cartridge.
No, don't tell me.. YOU FORGOT SCRAM KITTY!!??!???
You put it in the 10 best eShop games list or something like that previously. Thanks for ruining my Christmas.
BTW you still put in loads of great games so Merry Christmas.
@Cantisque [A-Train 3D is] £20 good (it is a full price retail game in Japan), but isn't for someone who dislikes strategic sims. It is very deep and complex, probably the best of it's kind released on the 3DS, which sadly lacks both SimCity and Civilization games the DS had, and it's RollerCoaster Tycoon is utter crap. If you're intrigued, go for it; but don't expect to immediately like it if you're new to the genre.
"Please note that this competition is only open to residents of the UK."
"Sorry, you are unable to comment on this content because it is intended for a different region."
Okay, if you're gonna tempt people with prizes and then disappoint them and not even let them comment (I truly don't believe you'd get a single angry reply), you could at least be so kind, generosity of this truly generous person be damned, as to not display the article to non-UK readers in the first place or at least make the intended country limit less ambiguous in the title. Thank you.
While it's not like there aren't more really good RPGs on the 3DS then you have time to play; everyone deserves a chance, and this is likely still a serious attempt at a small scale and ultra-low budget.
@SH007ME Numbered? Hardly, the successor hasn't even been announced yet, and they'll give the Switch at least a year of being in the the spotlight before they do.
I had known very little of this franchise, as most Europeans. But DQVIII was a revelation. It's use of assets may have been quite economic compared to the big hitters of the time, but boy did it not lack heart and beauty.
@NinjaWaddleDee I don't believe that for a second. The Switch takes absolutely no ideas from the 3DS sphere (except maybe well, the cartridges). In the end it's just a different take on the WiiU concept and looks laughably like it's early prototypes, in many ways devolving from the finished product.
And the "play your portables on your TV" and "play your console games on a portable" part? It's already been done to death, and has never been particularly well received. There really isn't much new here. Portable and console gaming are two very different worlds, and being forced to make games that fit between the two very different approaches to development doesn't allow designers to play towards any of their strengths. There's still a wide gap left for the next generation of true portables, a gap that neither smartphones nor the Switch will ever fill.

@Bass_X0 That is fantastic, lol. And good advice to others as well: when you post images make it relevant to the topic, and avoid GIFs at all costs.

Re: It's Nintendo Switch Petition Time, With Miiverse on the Agenda
@JHDK "This is up there with the morons in China who protested because they didn't like the Pokemon translation."
Apparently you don't even understand what that was about. They're hardly morons, and Nintendo made a bad move.
Re: Review: Soul Axiom (Wii U eShop)
@Solid_Stannis That is an axiom comment.

Is the hardware still made in China?
Re: State of Mind is a 'Futuristic Thriller' Heading to Nintendo Switch
@Bunkerneath Pretty darn gratuitous rip off if you ask me. I'd rather play the awesome old Westwood Studios game.

A lifetime interest in Pokemon Go would hardly provide, much less justify a longer lifespan.

First I heard that Canadian prices can translate to US$.
