Robert Garcia, which reminds me that few people read the full article.
"The stunningly fluid animation of the characters is due to SNK going with rotorscoping techniques, used previously in such genre defining games as Karateka, Prince of Persia, Another World and Flashback."
You just mentioned some of the games that defined my early gaming.
@setezerocinco It's supposed to be more creepy than scary. The Japanese are masters at supernatural/ghost horror, I'm sure if you give the game a chance the atmosphere will draw you in.
I have doubts this will be more super than the original. After all, the font for "SUPER" is larger on the original box art for both the game and console names.
"What's weird about this one is that it is coming to Switch, just not yet. So the launch trailer shows off the Wii box-art alongside the PS4; they're natural buddies, of course."
"What isn't quickly apparent about The Molasses Flood’s debut title is that it actually details the harsh reality of survival. Hunger, thirst, sleep, broken legs and bear attacks, it's all part of a world that is constantly trying to knock the player down. This sense of realism is spot on and is The Flame in the Flood’s greatest strength, and conversely its biggest weakness."
@ZurapiiYohane That's From Yuru Yuri. All three seasons of this Kobe award-winning shoujo-ai comedy are available on Crunchyroll streaming, even with a free account. (:
Enjoy, the anime played a big part in getting me back into watching and buying anime.
@Gauchorino @Thulfram To quote the question, as well as provide a further answer, a recorded live orchestral soundtrack has to be stored as, well, audio; while MIDI is stored as, well, MIDI data (note and automation information, very small) and the synth engine together with instrument samples (can be very small too). MIDI takes up less space, so could be that, could also be some licensing issue as well.
I got this preordered, so can't wait to see what the fuss is all about. This is exactly the kind of Metroid game the franchise needed, and many fans, including me, preferred.
" The Game Boy version could be completed in around four or five hours: indeed, beat it in less than three hours and you got to see Samus in a bikini (look, it was a different time back then)."
Indeed, there was a whole lot less of that kind of thing. (;
People seem to forget this was maybe the first game to use cell-shading, which made it look very different from anything else at the time. So yuri wasn't the only thing that made the game interesting, but it certainly made me happy (and horny). The gaming magazine in Croatia even released the sexy massage promo image (if you'll remember that one) as a poster. (:
Bought the original for my nephews, they'll be playing it when they come home from holiday. I hope they'll spend more time on World of Final Fantasy, but at least it won't be Minecraft. (which they aren't playing on home consoles, but I still felt I needed a safety net)
@Shellcore I think it's supposed to be like that one backup controller, when it's actually cheaper and better to just get a backup for every system you own. As I said, it will fail miserably.
@FragRed Well, it's neither an AAA title nor a dollar app. But I agree, it's nothing particular to brag about aside from getting free publicity. I don't see a particular need of getting updated for every bidecamillenia of sales numbers.

Re: Super Mario Odyssey Is The Best Rated Game Of All Time
I guess it'll never match the greatness that is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2 or Grand Theft Auto IV, lol.

Bullcrap, a Wii is better than four PS4s.

@SetupDisk A picture of Bowser kidnapping Peach and Mario being like "who cares"?
