I'm sure the game is even better, but again the visuals are lacking compared to the WiiU installment. WiiU truly has the best shading (or shaders if you prefer) of any console ever.

Great review, this was on my radar, but now it really pings.

Many people say Nintendo lost to Sony because they went the cartridge route. But look at all the failed CD-ROM systems and peripherals that came before the PlayStation. It's no wonder Nintendo was cautious.

Sorry, and this is coming from a big fan of the trilogy, but there's being too clever for your own good, and the tagline undoubtedly gave the wrong or confusing impression to many people. Including me, since I knew Nintendo got it right with the game.

@Damo Never mind an interesting reference, you should be vary of what kind of impression a tagline gives of a review. Heck, I've read the trilogy several times (and the letters to his therapist that comprise the garbage fourth and fifth books once), and still didn't get it.

Nintendo would be dumb to stand on just one pillar, they will continue the 2DS/3DS support, with them eventually getting a successor of their own.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Vroom in the Night Sky is at least a little bit underrated. It's not what I would call an absolute disaster. There were people on the team who certainly knew what they were doing.

If they hire every factory in China to start making them right now, they might just be able to fulfill the preorders.
