@Toastmaster I’d much rather play games on consoles than PC. I don’t even own a PC. If I do use one, it’s to play hidden object games which consoles don’t have too much of. Aside from that, I stick with consoles or handhelds.

Nintendo is unstoppable really. They have exclusives, which is what is needed for consoles to thrive. I have a 360, a PS1, and a Vita. While I love my Vita, I much prefer playing Nintendo honestly. I’ve been playing Pokémon Yellow Version and having a lot of fun. I borrow a Switch often from my brother, and love it. I might get one for myself. My first system was a 3DS, and I have fun playing Pokémon on that. Nintendo is what is fun. Plus with how lousy Xbox doing lately, having the hell no idea what to even do, and PlayStation having its ups and downs, Nintendo keeps going strong.

@FlameRunnerFast I just have zero use for it. I hate livestreams, streamers, etc. I can watch TV shows on an actual TV or streaming service, so YouTube is not something I enjoy.

I’d rather they had just kept the app, I really don’t enjoy YouTube in the slightest and never even use it. But at least it’s on Netflix I guess? Unless they plan on pulling the first season off of there?

Was anybody actually expecting this to be good? Especially after that awful Pac-Man reveal for this series? Plus the huge push for the Concord episode…

I get annoyed with some of the ones in Mario Kart Tour. Can’t think of any off the top of my head currently, but it can be pretty bad sometimes. Or has it been awhile? I haven’t played it much lately at all. But I do think it’s good they are showing some initiative.

The ears moved!? Well now I’m all for this game then!!! I can’t wait to tell my brother, he’ll be even more excited than me. I might be getting a Switch for Christmas, so it’s time to start saving!

Cleary just juking the numbers at this point….Where did these extra five million suddenly come from? Unless like I saw someone comment on Push Square if they’re throwing in those TVs with the PS2 built in. And even then, five million seems high…

Well at least it went to charity. But I absolutely despise the people who stream themselves just opening packs of cards.

Fourteen games?! Now I’m rethinking tracking down all the originals with my brother…As much as we love finding old games like these, this seems much more cost effective.

Well as long as it doesn’t rely on specialty memory cards like the Vita, it could probably do okay. I like the Vita. I have the TV version, but those damn memory cards in my opinion are largely what made it fail…Then again, these are just baseless rumors everyone is going to assume is fact.

That’s pretty impressive for Pixel Remaster Collection. But isn’t that because it got that rerelease in October?

I’m actually surprise CoD outsold Sparking ZERO. On PSN the pre-orders for ZERO were actually greater than CoD.

@Vyacheslav333 I despise censorship. Me and my brother often compare Switch and PS4 versions of anime-type games to check if there’s any differences in censorship, and will opt for the Switch version.

Pokémon Yellow Version: Special Pikachu Edition! I just caught Mew tonight on it, and am having a blast getting to truly experience this game myself. I’ve played some of Blue on my 3DS, and Let’s Go. But to finally play the original on a Game Boy Color is really fun for me.

I might also play some Stellar Blade, but I’m mostly wanting to focus on Yellow currently.

$50 for the set doesn’t seem so bad. I’d definitely love to buy them for my brother for a gift. He absolutely holds these games in such high regard from his childhood…Whenever he plays them he can’t help but tell me every little thing he can remember.

EDIT: Damn, I completely read the article wrong and thought it was a set of two for $50. Each of them for that price is just so not worth it. Maybe I’ll buy him a Shadow Lugia off AliExpress instead…

Hmmm. I think I’m actually about to get a Switch…Maybe I should look to get one of these…

I personally enjoy some Gacha games. Obviously I like Azur Lane. But I never really put money into them. A couple times I was generously gifted an iTunes card and used it for that. Other than that, you can still enjoy them free to play. Azur is actually very generous with cubes and stuff to let you build ships. There’s a lot of Gacha games that actually let you just play without needed to constantly pump in money.

@Anti-Matter Me and my brother love finding cheap bargain bin games. He recently got some Japanese games he can’t read and he gave me a Power Rangers game. For us, those are just as good, I’m not better than most AAA games from major companies.

@calbeau Honestly, I’d love a new 2D Pokémon game. Just let it feel like it used to, instead of what they’ve unfortunately become…

Kinda sad it finally happened with how lousy these ones were. And it’ll probably just let GameFreak continue to release mediocre games from here on…Hopefully I’m wrong though and the next games are the most robust content-packed Pokémon games ever.

I honestly had no idea Kodakawa owned all those game companies. Or any game companies. I just thought like, romance manga…? Sucks though, SpikeChunsoft makes some pretty good games, it’d be a shame to lose them on Nintendo consoles…

@EarthboundBenjy I’m not sure about a new 2D FF game…Unless it was done immensely well, or something kinda like a 2D World of Final Fantasy. I do however wish Pokémon would go back to 2D and we got something incredible there. I feel maybe some of these long running series would learn something if they took time to re-establish their roots.

I’m still waiting for that Final Fantasy V 3DS remake that was under consideration years ago…

Damn, 25 years? My brother still shares so many fond memories with me of when he first played them. Still to this day Crystal remains what I would personally say is his all time favorite game.

@Cheez I have definitely enjoyed FFXIII over numerous highly reviewed games. It all comes down to one’s own opinion. But I do agree with your point on price compared to time. I always forget about that because I typically play JRPGs that that awhile. So I will agree if a review points out that a game is way too short for the full price.

I was literally just looking this up too. I hope it’s good, I’ve enjoyed the other games I. The series, so hopefully it’s not too bad. I just have to remember it’s out in March…

@Diowine I’ve actually enjoyed or sought out games that have poor reviews. Infinite Undiscovery, Sonic ‘06, The Last Remnant. All poorly reviewers, and I’ve enjoyed them. I’m also one of probably two people in the world who liked Balan Wonderworld. Reviews are meaningless to me unless they point out things like very poor and practically unplayable controls or poor voice acting. Aside from that, I’ll play what I want despite what reputations they may have, like Balan.

I seriously don’t see why people get all hyped for this stuff. I just want to play games, form my own opinions. Not buy something just because it “won over 200 awards”. Are people really that incapable of forming their own thoughts on a game without having to “wait for reviews” or seeing how many awards it wins?

I didn’t get to last weekend, so hopefully I can start Pokémon Yellow I was recently gifted.

Although my brother has been sick, possibly with the flu, so I’ve been looking after him and we might play Final Fantasy VII on PS1.

It’ll never happen. And if it somehow does, it’ll flop like their current consoles. Microsoft just needs to STFU. This is the fifth (?) article I’ve seen in two days between here and PushSquare. They have zero idea what they are doing and just run their mouths pretending to have a clue. Newsflash, your console is not selling well and no amount of buying up companies will change that. Especially when you’re talking about wanting to put your games on other consoles. Just admit defeat with some dignity already.

Just to clarify. I’m not “anti-Xbox”, my only console is a 360. I’m just tired of hearing all the crap they are spewing lately.

Xbox’s days are truly numbered aren’t they? Don’t get me wrong, I’m not bashing them much, my only actual console is an Xbox 360. Everything else I have is a handheld or the Vita TV. But if they start releasing their games in other consoles, then nobody will have reason to buy Xbox. We buy Nintendo for Zelda, Mario, Pokémon. PlayStation has…Ratchet & Clank, Horizon? Consoles need exclusives to be viable, so without them, they become obsolete.

They had it great in the 360 era. So-so is it the XONE, but everything I hear or see is just that the “Series” console, which is a stupid name and marketing, has been a failure since launch. And like the first comment said it’s basically dead in a few countries.

Is this that same game that was to be a Chibi-Robo successor, or something else? It’s just hard to keep up with everything…

@mariomaster96 I never really got it either. It’s like you need a very high end phone in my opinion. I have an iPhone 7 Plus. I sure as hell can’t play these games. Controllers feel necessary for games like those in my opinion.

Everything gets great reviews by Famitsu, huh? It’s not like I care about reviews myself, just something I have always noticed.I think it just shows they enjoy games rather than tearing them apart and nitpicking like western reviews.

I actually enjoyed ‘06 despite its endless flaws. A remake would definitely be interesting.

The Kinstones are fun. It just sucks that you get locked out of most of them after completing a certain part of the game. You potentially screw yourself out of a lot of rewards.

Can we just stop with articles about this damn lawsuit until there is ACTUAL news in it? Like once it’s finally in court? Pocket Pal is a terrible company. We all know that, nobody should side with them. And there are TONS of other Pokémon-inspired games on Switch that are even promoted by Nintendo. At least in Indie Showcases I believe? This has ZERO to do with Nintendo throwing around their weight or bullying anyone. They’re just protecting their IP from a scumbag lazy company.

Hmm. My brother just gave me a PS1, so if I can find some games for that lying around, I’ll give it a try. If not, I’ll start Pokémon Yellow Version I also got recently.

This game is like. Super old technically. I mean, sure there are people like me who don’t know the plot, but still. Meh, doesn’t matter to me. I won’t be getting it, nor do I like streams. Still find it silly considering it’s a remake…Unless there’s some brand new story content or something.
