This would be perfect for my brother! If he didn’t already collect each individual volume as they came out…He loves this game.

Another day, another game studio laying off people. Are things really headed towards downward spiral? Is everyone right in speculating another crash? Yesterday Bandai, today Riot. We all know what a sh*tshow Ubisoft is going through and I know there were at least two other company lay offs in the past couple months, right?

@Purgatorium This will be one hell of a game then if it’s leading to that. Hopefully they put their all into it. One last hoorah so to speak.

Kinda odd to me. From my perspective, I’m not a hardcore gamer by any means, Bandai Nanci seems like one of time five game companies. Are sales doing poorly when nobody wants to buy “fad anime number 3”? I get that One Piece, Naruto, and of course Dragon Ball are popular and would sell great. But some of these other games they’ve released lately…That said, does anyone know how well Gundam Breakers 4 sold?

@Orpheus79V I sure as hell hope it wouldn’t be Soul Calibur VII! That’s probably the only game I’d actually look forward to.

@somnambulance Right!? I thought for sure Sparking! Zero would be first once it was finally out!

Just a side note, you still technically experience this game on its original hardware still in their day and age officially. I might have to find my brother’s SNES, this article makes me want to play some Super Mario World now…

But yeah, an emulator definitely would help with less hardware maintenance, it’s not like we’re talking about the Gulf War Game Boy. A true technological marvel. I wonder if it’s mentioned at the museum at all…

They probably saw like three fake outrage comments online and thought they did something wrong. Seriously, nothing is wrong with this photo and like the rest of you, I don’t remember any sort of controversy or anyone getting upset over it. And “memed into oblivion”? Hardly anyone even remembers this photo judging by this comment section. What even is this story they’re making up?

Damn! That is absolutely crazy!! I guess absolutely no company or how big you are, nobody is safe from these hackers anymore. It does suck though that this happened. Hopefully it doesn’t delay Z-A…But at least they didn’t actually lose anything or get locked out of everything, right? So at least that’s good….

@Dr_Fresh Agreed. Now if someone made a new GameCube game, that’d be quite unexpected. Unlike all these “retro” cartridges coming out of the woodworks lately.

I thought it would sell moderately well, but certainly didn’t imagine it doing this well. That’s pretty awesome I think.

I think this might sell moderately well. And if it doesn’t, the price will skyrocket in a few years when people suddenly want one. I think it’s an interesting idea, not sure if I will buy one or not though.

@Pillowpants I once started mocking people who kept pushing every day there was a runor for a direct. Like seriously, it happens when it happens. Nintendo knows what it is doing and when they want to tell us.

I think the Japanese one, like the article said, uses more of the shape of the box to its advantage in detail. However, I do like how Toad is overlapping the GBA banner on the US box. Did many games do that?

@Arawn93 Wasn’t the general consensus for AC Shadows in Japan about 50-50 for those looking forward to it and those not interested/not happy about it?

It will be a shame to see such a long established company go under. But I guess they did it to themselves. As for everyone talking about the whole “get used to not owning your games”, that’s actually a huge misquote. Either way, will Ubi even be able to rise up from this? Their stocks are plummeting and everyone seems to be extremely fatigued with their games and just waits for the huge sales they do.

Personally I think a grid menu and categories would make it so much better. Categories like “Monsters”, “Nature” for things like rocks and shrubs, “objects”. Plus changing it from having to hold down the button while you scroll would definitely help if it was changed more of a menu screen.

Sooo, are they actually upset over the censorship, or was that all part of the mistranslation too? I apologize for not understanding.

I still find it crazy how Mario Kart 8 Deluxe always stays in the top ten every week.

@CaleBoi25 I agree. I’m no FPS or graphics snob. As long as something is fun to play, I’m all for it. Not everything needs to be some fast moving high res extravaganza.

@TheExile285 Same here. I took turns playing with my relative for a bit. I mentioned how people complained about the frame rate, and neither of us noticed a thing at all. Maybe swimming ONCE? But we honestly don’t see a thing wrong with it.

@Pillowpants I was thinking the same thing. Like he could have been credited, but maybe wanted to be humble or show humility and opted not to be.

@BrianJL He doesn’t need credit in the game, he IS the game.

Quite surprising. You’d think they’d both be listed under like a “The Legend of Zelda Created By” credit at least.

Damn…That’s just…Hoping things go well for him. I mean. I’m not wanting him to just get better and make games again, hell if he wants to just retire from making games, all for him. This is just very sad news…Hopefully it’s not too serious.

I actually applauded the creators for actively showing their disdain for having to change their work. Usually it’s just all “well we had to”, but here they’re calling out how ridiculous it really is.

@GameOtaku Exactly my thoughts. Kids play Call of Duty, GTA, and other M-rated games they shouldn’t. Yet something like this is bad and not appropriate?

The Type A and B thing is stupid as hell. Seriously, what purpose does any of this crap serve? There’s other games that have plenty of exposure in character designs and it’s perfectly fine, and then there are some that get criticized to hell for it. This is just pointless.

I played a little bit with a relative, taking turns in a couple dungeons. Are we the only ones who haven’t noticed framerate problems? We even tested it when I remembered everyone complaining about it, and still noticed nothing.

Rumor: Switch successor will have buttons on a controller to play the games. Seriously. Another week, another rumor. I’d rather just wait to hear official news than endless speculation.
