@electrolite77 Agreed, which is why I don't understand why some people hate the hybrid concept so much. Even if they released a powerhouse, it wouldn't have gotten very good third party support, so why not just have it be a console and a portable in one package?

@gatorboi352 I wouldn't say it's really a difference of opinion. Most people on here agree that if you want AAA third party games, Nintendo consoles aren't the best choice. People just get annoyed because the 3rd party support on Nintendo consoles hasn't been that great since the post-SNES era, so comments like yours about the third party games are somewhat redundant.

It's like going on a forum dedicated to something like the practice of knife combat and saying something like "Knives are nice for some uses, but if you want a weapon that can kill or incapacitate people quickly and from a distance, knives are not for you. Stick with guns." The people on the forum would probably agree with you, but they just enjoy learning and practicing knife combat and would probably get annoyed by someone pointing out something that they already know and has been the case for many years.

I need to see more. I might be interested, but turn-based strategy games are foreign territory for me.

Too bad I like my Pro controller more than any other controller I've ever owned.

It's hilarious how Nintendo can make such a technologically and functionally impressive system like the Switch, but when it comes to designing something like a voice chat app, they or whoever they hired seem to have completely lost their minds.

Let's hope they actually optimize it, because even the PS4 was struggling, and that's not a graphically intensive game by any means.

Just give us a localized Monster Hunter already.

I hope the game gets a large install base. It's my favorite Switch game so far.

They should hire someone who actually knows what they're doing. Then there wouldn't be all these glaringly obvious problems.

Kinda sucks that it has one of the worst specials IMO, but oh well.

@Yorumi I really don't know what they were thinking with the voice chat. It's an absolutely atrocious effort on their part.

I'm not going to judge the rest of the online service yet, but I hope it turns out to be a lot better than the app.

@Yorumi To be fair, the voice chat is the only thing that's sub-par. The rest works fine, and hopefully the connection will be even more stable, which is all that matters in the end. It sucks that the voice chat is lackluster, but people can just use Skype or Discord or something.

Of course they did. It's such a Nintendo thing to do. They couldn't make a fantastic system like the Switch without royally messing up in some way.

I was planning on using Skype or something anyway though, so it's not a big deal for me.

Minecraft YouTubers must have one of the most boring jobs on earth. Being forced to play the same game every single day for years must be torture.

Nintendo needs to step up their game with the comparisons. Who in their right mind would choose mayo? It's good on some types of food, but ketchup is such a great addition to so many foods.

They should have done ketchup vs mustard or something.

@Dang69 Would it be too late for me to pre-order the game from there? I've never pre-ordered a game, but after MK8D wasn't in stock on day 1 at my Wal-Mart, I would be a lot more willing to do so.

Also, do you have any idea if there's any extra cost for pre-ordering in Canada?

If this game isn't in stock tomorrow at my local Wal-Mart, there's no predicting what havoc I might wreak.

I'd rather the Switch get a Virtual Console so I could buy the games there. Having them on a hybrid console sounds much better than just a smaller N64.

I think it's probably gonna end up being more convoluted than necessary, but people should wait for the app to actually be functional before they tear it apart. You're all jumping the gun a little with this criticism.

There's definitely a lot of whining here. It's completely fine to disagree with their opinion that it's a 10/10. I probably would have given it a 9/10 or a 9.5/10 myself, because there are some issues from the first game that carried over to the second one that Nintendo decided not to fix for whatever reason, and thus I don't think it deserves a 10/10, great as the game will probably be. But does the fact that they gave the game a 10 REALLY impact you in any way?

Maybe you should just...get over it?

@Tasuki I didn't say it was the best decision for them as a business. I just mean I wish they would do it so that all their efforts would be concentrated on the Switch, because it's a superior system, and I much prefer it to the 3DS.

The way I worded it did make it seem like that's what I was saying, but even if I was saying that, no need to be a gigantic douche about it and call me stupid, lol.

(EDIT: Had to change the wording, because people were confused about what I was saying and thought I was suggesting it was a good idea business-wise for them to discontinue the 3DS.)

Now if only all the other 3DS/2DS models would be discontinued as well.

On one hand it would be sad, and a poor business move, but I personally wish the Switch had the full spotlight. It's just a superior system in almost every way.

They're cool, but if I wanted something like that, I would get an actual shirt or sweater or something.

I would definitely recommend Stardew Valley if you like this kind of game. Even if the next Harvest Moon turns out to be good, Stardew Valley is still one of the best games in the genre, if not the best.

I'm so pumped for this game. It would be well worth the price for me even without any single player content.

I wish I had played any of the Castlevania games, especially when they first came out. I'm sure I'd be much more interested in watching the show if that were the case.

I might watch it sometime, though. I'm always down for more vampire stuff, especially if it came from a classic video game.

If you haven't bought Stardew Valley, do it as soon as possible. Absolutely a must have game for people who like Animal Crossing/Harvest Moon-esque games.

I think I'll stick with Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

All these people ridiculing anyone who's not comfortable with the gore or language are getting really annoying. Who are you to decide what someone else should think about subjects like that?

I honestly can't tell if these people are just being ignorant to the fact that not everyone thinks like they do, or if they're just pretending to like the language and gore because they want to be edgy.
