Partners in Time ended with the baby mario, luigi, and peach (along with a young toadsworth) going back to the past, so they technically still ahve the time machine, explaining how Baby mario and mario are in mario kart among other things. They could always use the machine as an excuse

Random new mobile game(s), dlc for Sword and Shield that includes pokemon found in it's data that weren't obtainable in the game, and then maybe a teaser for a remake on switch or something smash relate (I hope not). Those are my predictions

Honestly surprised we just kind of ignored the original mario galaxy, but I mostly like this list, I just wish more people had played the wii u so games like 3d world would have been on the list .

While Untitled Goose Game is fun and very unique, did it really deserve the number 6 spot over games like Fire Emblem? And I'm sorry, but no matter how nostalgic some people are over the series, the incomplete generic and repetite pokemon sword and shield are not better than Fire Emblem, Mario Maker, Luigi's Mansion, and Yooka Laylee. Just seeing them on here immediately turned me off the list, especially seeing how rushed and messy the games are. I'm glad you could enjoy them, but I definitely did not.

I like how the picture is a bunch of characters with a sort of celebratory expression, then Young Link is randomly firing an arrow.

I'm sorry, why aren't more people talking about the fact that this is 45 MINUTES LONG! I honestly would not be surprised if the last fighters pass character gets announced at this "smash direct".
Also, if there are basically no more new modes, what is he going to talk about the entire time?

I honestly assumed third game would have a Wii Boo or something like that when they first announced it, but this has a lot more charm to it

@mousieone Yeah, I was literally watching this at a realtive's house at the time, and I was really confused. I only knew the "answer" because it said blocks with names, and I instantly thought Tetris.

Literally the same game as the 3ds one but hd. Its fun, but you wait A LOT if you dont want to spend money. Also, unless they changed it Beam Mage is by far the best ability for all of you who haven't played the game before.

Funny that Nintendo says THWACK! in their post, even though the only move called Thwack in the game has very little knockback would launch the bag nowhere.

Why can you jump? That ruins all the fun of trying to find shortcuts! And now almost every wall is fenced off! This is really disappointing as someone who loves the first game

@Kevember Well there are a few youtube channels out there that are constantly making new videos about different glitches in Mario Maker 2, like Icay, so I'd recommend checking those out if you are more interested in this kind of stuff. They have way more than Nintendo life has even talked about in their articles!

I think the only reason it took so long for a release date, and the fact that it wasn't announced at E3 was because they needed to add all the finishing touches to the game. I think they were still not completed with the game at E3 time, and wanted to make sure it could release in October, and didn't want to give a early release date, just to have to delay it. Glad it's still coming in October though!

Calling either October or December if its not ready by the former month. They would probably release in it November if they couldn't hit October, but no way it would be able to fight pokemon, so they would just release it early december

Have the mario characters ever taken a vacation without something bad happening?

Nevertheless, I so incredibly excited for this game after playing dark moon for a very large amount of hours. The only thing that worries me is that the hotel only seems to be 18 floors, and the treehouse got through an entire floor with just the gameplay time. If all the floors are that quick, were probably looking at a fairly small game unless they are faking us out.

Also, I don't know if anyone noticed, but in the treehouse footage, one of the directors talked about the Wii u version of the game when it was in development, which is pretty suprising they just say it straight up.

@Seacliff There's actually even more than that, with there being a cop sort of ghost in the trailer, and a director ghost who talks in the treehouse footage.

I was trying to guess what it was, and then I saw the torch, and I instantly new it was something botw related. Im that big of a nerd. I really hope the thing in the middle will end up being reincarnated Ganondorf. I just wonder how we are going to explore new worlds or areas if it's the same world as botw. Maybe a dark dimesion (Termina, Lorule, Twilight) or in the sky, since the castle was floating upward? Also, playable Zelda please.

I just want to see more footage and hear more details about Luigi's Mansion 3. Seeing any sort of Mario rpg would be cool, as I'm a big fan of both Paper Mario and Mario and Luigi, but I'm not holding out for either of them being shown.

When you try your best to be smash ultimate, but still wanna be unique. I wonder if Fire Joker will be the next character.

Also, WII Sports? Does anyone still play that?

Finally playing through Super Mario RPG on the SNES again after never beating it the first time. Also playing Robonauts, as I got it for free, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, which I'll finally get to play after getting it for sale Black Friday last year, and finally getting back into Super Mario Sunshine after my memory card got corrupted a few months back. Summer just started for me, so I got plenty of freetime.

I'm just hyped for all the new music! The stuff we heard in the trailer was already super great to listen to!
