Re: You Can't Alter The Chest Size Of Female Characters In The Western Version Of Xenoblade Chronicles X

@ikki5 - Sorry for being another guy to argue with, but... "Yes, they will be sexualized from time to time depending on the context, but they are part of who a person is." I don't understand how breasts can defy someone.

"Those that say they are about sex are the ones making it that way." I don't think so, cause sex is everywhere. Sex jokes, romance, even in commercials about perfumes and deodorant. The human body has been degraded and not as seen as art form as it used to be. If that wasn't the case, then why aren't we naked?

Since when did it matter if you had bigger breasts or not. Fallout 4 proved you could spend shit ton of time on a face. Should we have larger nips or freckles on our breasts? And customization of an avatar was never about making a clone of yourself, but how you wish to see yourself and a representation. But apparently guys overused this and like to see themselves as busty girls. Goddamn, play FFIX. Didn't it come down to your actions that define who you are in game? Look at Skyrim.

If you want to customize yourself to the extreme, then learn to draw and make yourself as you want and use your imagination, or maybe Play another game?

Re: Video: Check Out Cloud Strife's Marvellous Super Smash Bros. Moveset

Anyway, I've been talking on Serenes about this and seen the frames of the moves. We wonder how useful most of them are and they aren't looking too good, but not bad, but we don't know any grabs or true combos. So far, it looks like a bit of a bag of Ike with DK and Megaman, but for Cloud to be completely different from Ike, the N-Air would need to have different use apart from N-Air to Air Combos.
Another debate is if Cloud's Dtilt can go under needles.

Re: Fire Emblem will be Getting an Art Book for its 25th Anniversary

@Blizzia - "I think Awakening is a great Fire Emblem game, and that it certainly does not lose to older entries."
Well, this is quite wrong. It comes down to opinion. Awakening's a great game to a degree, but many older entries own Awakenings arse. FE4, 7, 9. These games are the best of the franchise. And this isn't just my opinion, these are just overall sum from the heaps of fans. Story, gameplay, characters, maps, and these three had them without screwing almost the franchise in two.

"I don't know what you have against the story. I thought it was decent."
The Risen flow out of chapter 2 and never appear again until after the time skip? That's not really decent, really bad. Decision making doesn't matter, that's quite bad. Endgame, bad. But you not once talk about how FE 7 makes the main character kill the character that you ship with. The only Fire Emblem to only make me cop such a feel.

"Gameplay-wise, it is top notch. I love it." Well that's you opinion, that's why you love it, but others might not. They might not like the mass load of grinding you have to do, massive stats, the insane difficulty spike on Lunatic that makes the game more difficult but not even fair, and the maps compared to Sacred stones where strategy is implemented on maps being A to B.
Awakening is good, but it definitely not the best.

Re: Feature: A Pokémon Retrospective: Generation 2 - 1999 to 2002

KO-Cub

There was problems with every gen game.
Gen 1. It was a start to a beautiful friendship, Gotta catch 'em all, Issues It was just unbalanced once you nit pick it. E.g. Poison was always a bad choice and Psychic was along with Dragonite.
Gen 2. It continued the friendship and introduced more Pokemon and proved the universe could expand and fix some issues. Issues Still had a lot of. E.g. Poison still useless, Psychic less OP, but trade-evolution was almost impossible.
Gen 3. Basically created to fix things. Steel became a solid type and Dark was getting somewhere along with other types. Abilities were introduced, new better moves. Issues You had to abandon previous generations you worked for. Way to much water pokemon, easy to see why, we get why a little (Fight against Land or Sea). Weak post game, Pokemon were split between 5 games to get the dex completed and literally created the "Two games every gen" in a bad way. Pokephiles attacked this gen.
Gen 4. New Pokemon, Evolutions, good items, specific evolution requirements, Legendaries, craft-pokeballs, moves, abilities, Meta finally saw some light. Issues A lot of forced characters and lore which did nothing with the series and fed the wrong fans, uninportant lorePokemon variety: Everything locked behind E4, 3 new Fire types, 2 after E4 and if you didn't choose Chimchar, then you're only choice was a Ponyta. Pokemon designs were skeptical. The most fewest new Pokemon in a gen that was all about evolving Pokemon you've trained in the previous gens, slow paced.(A lot here was fixed by Plat)
Gen 5 Based on the west, Meta evolved greatly, reusable TM's, amazing and weird Pokemon here and there, interesting sound track, characters and gym leaders were implemented to do something, rivals with connectable morals, good story where you're not just the chosen one but the evil doer is too, 151 new Pokemon Issues 151 new Pokemon that questions the "Gotta Catch 'em All" phrase, A sequel (at least didn't de-conon your hero work in BW1), seasons mechanic, Dark special Pokemon were basically no where, weak post game, 2D characters in 3D world, didn't introduce any mechanic new ("If it ain't broke don't fix it" maybe?).
Gen 6 More Pokemon, moves, items, characters (some didn't do a lot) a new type for balancing, Poison viably better (Yay), New Mega-Evolution mechanic, stop the power-creep, easy to obtain everything, META EVOLVES!, eased players into competitive training, Pokemon re see the light. Issues Too many characters that don't do anything e.g. those kids at the beginning and some gym leaders, Mega Evolution lore not making sense when it existed a long time ago, Life and Death Pokemon?, gotta catch 'em all?

Every gen isn't perfect, you can't judge gen 1 though since you know, it just started the franchise, but the gens after come down to opinions and preference. No gen is perfect.

Re: English Translation Of Metroid EX: Samus & Joey Manga Finally Complete

KO-Cub

I only non Metroid game thing I take as canon is the Manga before "Metroid".

I also like to think Other: M happened while Samus was unconscious during the X parasite contaminated her suit during the crash in Fusion and Other: M was just some bad, run downed story of her struggling to keep her sanity while being unconscious which is why she acts so vulnerable.
Anyway, peace out.
