@WaddleDeeWeegee - Action, Party. The whole core of Smash is characters competing against each other and having fun. You played the first chapter of Subspace Emissary? They may have violence but it's extremely mild compared to characters out right killing each other with insane moves.
So a greater version of what Castlevania used to be. A new Megaman game becuase they basically stopped being great. Now I'm happy for these two, but I'm worried another Sci-Fi, exploration game featuring getting abilities and fighting tough bosses will be in the works and it won't be Metroid.
Normally we can all agree that it's a staple in a shooting game, but something like Splatoon. I think we can all agree we don't really need voice chat at all. I mean, Skype is still an option to use when playing with friends. Many other possible ways.
What about a- could they have done is something like a Voice Link. It starts out with Voice Chat off, but you can make a Chat Party and invite whom ever. I know some flaws in that, but just a thought.
I'm looking at my Pikachu Amiibo (Even though it's still in the plastic box you buy it in) the arms are kinda infused with the body, or is the fake Pikachu above have it's arms "COMPLETELY" infused?
@JaxonH - Amen, Amen. Awakening was good, but it did introduce worrying things. Overpowered Skills and Units stats, Marriage System, removal of Heavy inside mechanics (Like Light Tomes, Magic Advantage Triangle, Weapon Weight, etc). Basically, fusing all the Fire Emblem games didn't go down as I imagined.
It's the complexity and math that made Fire Emblem great. We're 'ok' with some change as long as they're harmless as a whole. And yeah, the only thing working with Weapon Complexity in Awakening was the Equipment Endurance. It creates item management, and because I heard Blk. Kingdom was going to be harder and earn less gold, it would enhance management and make you really focus on the core of the Fire Emblem aspect. But if Weapons aren't going to have a whole lot to back them, then you might as well remove the Endurance.
And Axe never hit's Sword for good reasons. 1 being Sword > Axe, so bonuses are reduced and Axe's are just inaccurate yet powerful. It's just the thing about adaptability.
FE's best seller of all time is but a grain of sand compare to actual mainstream titles. FE is a niche series that nearly ran itself to extinction with bad sales. Awakening may have brought it into the light but it's not out of the niche area, not by a longshot.
Well, does it have a strong and complex difficult gameplay experience? Cuz if it was as strong as that before Awakening, I'll play it. Re-kick start it.
Something I till don't get. Was Bravely Default underrated or something? I mean, I see a lot of people saying, "I should play the first one." Even me. Now that Second is announced, people have started to take notice on Default.
@zoroarkrules25 - You basically summed up the hate there. No post game, Lack Pokemon choice and other things like smaller screen view and other small things that pushed my buttons.
The thing about 3) is the spam play. Wario's bike for example is annoying and spammed for plays and those players get pluses due to internet lag/Input delay even. Most or in some cases half of the character can't get through the dirty play. It's not very fun to play and very degrading to the community. I also think people should get banned for not getting into the fight. E.g. Banned for repeatedly jumping on and off the ledge and attack the opponent from afar. We play Smash to 'smash', and dirty play should not be involved with these mechanics.
Guessing from the music taken from the last gen, we've got nothing really other than seeing that the main adventure has multiple campaigns featuring legends. Hm. That I covered is basically Mystery Dungeon in a nutshell.
I'm interested. I kinda like this, with the art style and the little monsters which are always seen as cute like KH:DDD. It's super cute and adorable. I'm rather scared that I just said that now. Better hope it's my fabulous level rising.
@BaffleBlend - Hope not. Sure it will be something to talk about, but it'll start an uproar. But I'm not really sure what you want balanced. It's pretty good as it is.
@vonseux - Honestly, name a bad Metroid game. Prime's, Hunters, Other M and the 2D Platformers are all so right on the ball for a Metroid game. I don't see how this could have went bad. This would have been something to pass the time while Nintendo begin/continue/finish their next Metroid project. And you can't say the first Metroid or Return of Samus cause they're outdated.
Why didn't the N64 get a Metroid game? Did they hesitate making a 3rd/1st person Metroid game to follow Mario and Zelda? I would have loved to see how this game would go down with this design. It would be nice to see something new apart from the 8-16 bit and sad teen drooling at 3d modeled Samus, Metroid games.
It's a better step up from Zero 1 and couldn't say it any better myself Mr.Reed. Though, it was rather easy compared to other MMZ's. Elpizo was so cliche with that new guy taking over thing and the Z-Sword still looks like a Katana and not a Triangle Sword like it's supposed to, which somehow bugged me.
Is this a good way to go really? Online Co-op I mean. I think it's cool and all, but to have better fun and experience, you need online. Leave that to Sony and Microsoft to make games that depend on internet usage.
I think maybe the idea of having the Original 8 and the Original 8 Smash 64 stages being the only thing you get until you unlock the gazillions of other things in specific other ways except Adventure Modes would give the game a longer play span and more joy and accomplishment for the players and especially for people who wanna play Shiek or Captain Falcon online because it feels much better that they worked for it.
Unlocking was always a thrill in Smash and I'd always try to unlock as much characters as possible in Smash Brawl without doing Subspace.
@kidwalrus - I agree'd with you first when you were stating that the games art was a little Fan Serviced, but what you just said... watch what you say.
@Luffymcduck - Only on a harder difficulty then it appears to have a challenge. And it's an OK change of pace when actually gaining something after beating bosses like a new ability for a combo and new Zero colors. I don't remember playing after I completed the game so I can't tell if that thing still popped up afterwards.
Music in this game was improved a little. That theme playing at the very beginning mission fit well. Still, w/out Phantom. The other 3 Masters from Z1 felt less meaningful with one man down. At least this was better than 1.
When Kotaku shared this topic on Facebook. I couldn't help but get involved and find... REAL JERKS! People replying "Wah Wah. Crybaby" and "What an Emo." It disgusts me that these people actually deserve to play Smash. What these jerks don't know is that Sakurai put's TONS of effort, work, time, money and ideas to make such a great game we appreciate which only comes once a Console Gen. Smash community... seriously.
Aha. bit of an interesting game. BS and it makes no sense. But still good. Still, I don't understand why Ryu starts by running through the city streets randomly killing people and... wolf men. Even when that Ninja picked up the statue with his feet proving he's more Ninja than Ryu. What the hell! And what in the world makes Tigers and Eagles wanna attack some random Ninja guy? Weather he's wearing a suit made of rabbit fur or those rugby people hypnotized them... I dunno. Oh and that MAZE OF DARKNESS in the second game... is really, really bright btw. And what does Ryu do in his spare time when he's not randomly slashing and killing everyone and thing. Just doesn't make sense. And by god that Tornado Slash was op.

I was sold at "Man of Action".
Re: Matters Of Import: Fire Emblem (Sort Of) Exists On The Sony PlayStation
@JaxonH - And I shouldn't be a pushover myself, but Veterans are worried where the series is going.
