Re: Tatsumi Kimishima Talks About a Potential 3DS Successor

JesWood13

This would honestly be the dumbest thing for them to do. Stick to the Switch please. Merging home and handheld divisions would've been pointless in the end if they made a 3DS successor. Just make an improved version of the Switch later on with better undocked battery life!

Re: A Wii U and 3DS Nintendo Direct Is On the Way

Talk about a missed opportunity.... They need to start talking about NX. They didn't have to show us what the hardware would look like, just simply mention it and show some games. Instead they're going to wait until E3. It's pretty bad that the leaks have provided us with more information on it than Nintendo has.

Re: Feature: The Biggest 3DS Games of 2016

The only game I'm really excited for is Fire Emblem Fates. If I can get the first Bravely Default game beat in time, then sure, I'm down for Bravely Second. Final Fantasy Explorers is a maybe at this point.

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Software Technology Working On Free-To-Play amiibo Game, Could Be Switching To Mobile In The Future

I feel bad for NST. Just because of one failed project, they get the shaft and only get to do minor projects, which the failure of said project was mostly thanks to Nintendo higher ups. I love Nintendo, but they've really fallen into a rut this year with mostly weak software offerings, and the emergence of how that inner conflict happened, all I can say is I hope Nintendo have realized how ridiculous they've been and are working hard to fix their situation, and will allow their internal studios more creative control so we see more new IPs when the NX hits.

Re: Video: This is the Animal Crossing Wii U Game We'd Hoped For

JesWood13

Since the NX will supposedly have chips that are on par with PS4 & Xbox One, I'd love to see them pull out all the stops for the next Animal Crossing. Nintendo should hire this kid first of all, because he seems to have a ton of wonderful ideas. Second, with the hardware, they could make the villages waaaayyyyy bigger. Like 30-50 villagers max, the ability to customize your town from the ground up and be able to use grids to place objects to make it easier. I'd like for them to also bring back the island; make it huge as well and have your own personal shack, like in the very first, but also with the other activities that they implemented in the newest entry. Then finally, bring back the city too, and make it actually have some scale to it, make it grand!!! I wanna be able to shop, explore ally ways, go into villager's apartments that live in the city, make friends with villagers in the city. That'd be one hell of an Animal Crossing title if all that were possible in one game!

Re: Review: Xenoblade Chronicles X (Wii U)

I have a huge backlog of games to get through over Christmas break.... I'm pretty pumped for this though. I'll play a good bit when I pick it up, but I'll mainly focus on clearing out my backlog before I dedicate my time to it. Stuff to get through on break: Bravely Default, Mario & Luigi: Dream Team, Majora's Mask 3D, Yoshi's Wooly World, Earthbound, Tales of Zestiria, Black Ops 3's campaign. The game I'm currently obsessed with is Fallout 4, which I'll for sure be playing for a long time, plus I asked for Tearaway Unfolded and Just Cause 3 for Christmas.... I'll be busy game-wise for awhile... Haha. I'll figure it out though.

Re: Site News: A Brief Update on Our Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash Review

JesWood13

I enjoyed Mario Tennis Open, but this sounds like a rushed, cash grab experience that was put out so Nintendo could say they had more than Xenoblade to offer this holiday. Nintendo's 2016 seems pretty promising so far, so hopefully they're working to turn things around. 2015 has probably been their worst year so far, even more so than 2013.
