A step in the right direction, as we all have a right to know what to expect from New Leaf, but I also want to know what else is coming this year.....

Nintendo Switch Online has a hell of a lot of improving to do if it wants to match the value of Xbox Live and PlayStation Plus. The current model isn’t cutting it, just my honest opinion. I don’t understand why they can’t add greater quantities of NES and SNES games. If it’s a licensing issue, then work them out so we have a wider range of classics for both. And for god’s sake just add N64, DS, GBA and GameCube already. These are things we had on Wii U and 3DS (minus GameCube), so I don’t get why they can’t just take what they already have and just program it to work with Switch, if they could make it work on Wii U. Increase the price a little if it means we get more value out of the service. Voice chat shouldn’t be relegated to a smartphone app, the list goes on. I also feel like we’re due for a major Switch system update to add new features to the console. This is a why the absence of a major Nintendo Direct bothers me. I don’t just want updates on the 2020 release schedule, I wanna hear about new features for the console as well. Cmon Nintendo, don’t leave us in the dark for very much longer.

GTS needs to be fixed. Been trying to get a Zamazenta so I can complete my Dex is Sword, but everyone wants mystical for it that aren’t even available anymore, or that people want mysticals even for other Pokémon that aren’t legendary.

Everyone should flood Nintendo’s text support line asking what the hell is going on. I did last night, idgaf. 🤷‍♂️ Dude said he’d forward my concerns to Nintendo’s other departments. Surely if they get enough feedback they’ll have to address it.

I kinda miss it in a way. It was always kinda fun to interact with the community and get ideas/help on games and share opinions. Though it was toxic in some parts of the miiverse community.

I wasn’t expecting 4K, but I at least want 1080p @ 60 FPS.

Knowing Nintendo they’ll probably keep us in the dark until E3... 2020 better not be a drought year for the switch. They’ve got heavy competition this fall.

This is and always will be the best Pokemon generation, simply because of the fact you get to go through more than one region. Like, the amount of content in these two games makes every attempt since then look p/// poor in comparison. Not knocking the other gens, but I wish Game Freak would make a game where we could go to another region during the post game... 😑

I’m still gonna get one of these games and get my girlfriend the one I don’t get, but I still think it’s a crock of sh— that all the time I’ve spent training and trading over countless iterations of the franchise means nothing to Game Freak in the end. Countless legendaries and high level Pokemon I can’t use or just have on hand in case I wanted to use them just gone, unable to be used or transferred. Absolute bull sh—

@Heavyarms55 I agree 100%, Xenoblade Chronicles is my favorite game of all time. X and Xenoblade Chronicles 2 were good, but didn’t grip me quite like the first. Although it would’ve been hard to considering how the first ended, I would’ve loved to see a continuation of Shulk’s story.

They should put Earthbound up, since I never finished it on Wii U. We’ve had NES and SNES for a few consoles now though. Bring out N64 and finally introduce GameCube games. Probably never gonna happen though.

If I can fit this game into my playtime next year, I’m definitely doing it! This is my all time favorite JRPG and the best of the Xenoblade series! Need to finish 2, still stuck on the part where you have to have ancient wisdom leveled up to a certain point before you can proceed with the story, super infuriating...

Just like the excess of plastic instruments/games featuring them, the toys to life trend had been done to death excessively. Of course it wasn’t going to go very well. The only thing remotely successful these days is amiibo, but I expect that to go to the way side at some point down the line.

I hope the government steps in and enforces an all out ban. This shouldn’t be an acceptable trend in the industry to begin with.

Nintendo being stingy I see, that’s a bummer. If I wouldn’t have had bills this week I was gonna buy vouchers before the offer went away. Shame...

Would’ve happily bought this for Switch to run through it since I’m on the go more often than I’m home anymore. Oh well, guess they won’t get my money and I’ll just have to finish the original version when I actually get some time to be home.

It skipped the Wii U, and it’s clear there was one planned for it but it ended up getting moved to Switch when they saw how bad the U was selling. It was only a matter of time before it was finally announced, and surely it’ll be bigger and better than ever with all that additional time in the oven. I can’t wait, hope it releases this year! I’d personally like to see them bring back the city mechanic, but greatly enhanced. Make t huge with streets and alleys to walk down, tons of shops and it’s own attractions and it’s own set of “villagers” to meet and befriend. Make the villages a lot bigger than before, and keep the island mechanic also. A culmination of all the features from past games smashed up into one. That’d be boss! But it probably won’t be like that, but a man can dream. 😂

Why would you even put Bayonetta 3 and Metroid Prime 4 on this list when we all know they’re not coming anytime soon? Bayonetta 3 will definitely come before Prime 4 will, but I bet that won’t even be out by the end of the year. I kept my expectations realistic and voted Yoshi, Fire Emblem and Kirby.

I would definitely buy Red Dead Redemption for the Switch, especially if it came out before the release of Redemption 2 so I can get a refresher on the story. Wouldn’t object to GTA 5 either.

Why not the shrines plus the traditional dungeons in the various regions of Hyrule? I would’ve much rather had that than four main dungeons that didn’t last long at all. Still a damn good game though.

I loved Breath of the Wild, but I thought the story was kinda lacking... hopefully they can balance an open world and bring the plot back to the forefront instead of taking the Dark Souls approach to the story where it’s minimal. AND dear god, bring back traditional dungeons and have there be wayyy more than 4/5 mains and a million shrines. I didn’t like that either, but oh well.
