@SmaggTheSmug @roadrunner343 Don't get me wrong, I'd never say 30fps was ever better than 60 I think anyone who'd make the excuse that 30fps is better is either doing so out of ignorance or tribalism. 60fps is just better. Not totally necessary, but definitely better. At least for me anyway.

@SmaggTheSmug Just because I'm pedantic, the reason they might say that is because all movies are projected at 24fps, so strictly speaking it is closer to what you'd see in a cinema. No beef though, I have a Switch, PC and a couple of Xbones <3

I could definitely go for a direct sequel. Could really do with more of BotW Link and Zelda, but I think a new, darker world would be interesting to explore. Cross the chasm to the north into new lands! And include some of these creepy designs

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Fair shout, I did infer a bit there But even so, if you're saying they should make less of them, that still implies you think they shouldn't be doing certain ports. Considering they're are usually outsourced or as you rightly say, take very little effort, their effect on the development of new games should be negligable. The reason I find your opposition to them confusing is because there's a very clear reason as to why they're doing it, that being that they didn't sell that well first time around because they were on a platform that flopped. And easy money, obviously I mean, if you were running Nintendo wouldn't this be exactly what you'd do as a business strategy?

Honest question though, why do you have such an opposition to ports when you don't have to buy them? I mean if you said "costs too much, will not buy" that's fair enough, but your argument goes one further than that to say they shouldn't be making them in the first place. Surely that's for market forces to decide?

Kamiko was great for what you spent on it. I think it was a fiver, or there abouts? I remember enjoying it though, great value Props to Stardew and Sonic Mania too, both awesome games I've enjoyed. Bring on 2018!

I could see myself getting something like this at some point. Got so many old games, would be nice to play them and actually see what's going on

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I'm inclined to agree with that, however, that doesn't mean we aren't going to get some spectaular experiences this year. I imagine Prime won't be out this year but I have a sneaking suspicion we're gonna get Pokemon in time for Christmas, even if it's a touch later than the usual "fall" window. And in the meantime, everyone seems to be talking about the same stuff, Animal Crossing, Smash Bros and virtual console. I think, given how good Nintendo has been with the Switch so far, they're gonna give us what we want. I mean they're making Prime 4, so at this point I no longer know what to expect, but I do know that miracles can happen

I cannot see the point in third party exclusives as opposed to first party. As a consumer, to me there's no difference. They may as well be first party. The only thing Nintendo needs to focus on is continuing the one big release a month thing. That sustains interest and makes you want to stay in the loop with regard to what's coming up for Switch. And start building hype for the new Zelda already, concept art me!
