With Fortnite's fifth season just around the corner, players are no doubt eagerly anticipating news on what form it might take. A new tease has appeared in the game today, potentially giving us the first glimpse of things to come.
As you can see in the image below, the in-game message tells players to "look to the sky" in a match this Saturday. The event, which is currently referred to as 'Blast Off!' will only happen once so this will be the only chance players get to see what unfolds.
Could this mean that another part of the map is about the be destroyed, just like the Dusty Depot? Maybe a new batch of superheroes are about to be introduced? Who knows.
Make sure to get on the game by 10:30am PT / 1:30pm ET / 6:30pm BST / 7:30pm CET tomorrow (Saturday 30th) to see what happens if you're interested.

These event things in Fortnite ever been anything special? Unsure if can make the time for it but I like the premise behind ingame immersion events.

This sounds interesting, I noticed the TVs had a new countdown on them in-game so I guess this is what it was for.
@XenoShaun As far as I'm concerned, this is the first time they are doing a live event like this where something happens at a specific time for everyone in-game, it wouldn't hurt to check it out if you get a little bit of fun out of the game and have time to spare.

@SimplyCinnamon53 from the in-game event wording, it sounds like we need to loaded into a match by (applicable time) at the latest I’m EST, so I guess I’d need to be in-match around 1:27. I dunno, not enough schedule details, haha

Saw it launch. Wasn't quite expecting the part at the end. Now the sky is screwed up a tad. Barely a noteworthy change, but still interesting to see the game grow in small changes over time
