@CharlieGirl really don’t know I remember buying a steel book special edition not sure which one but I was so underwhelmed by what was on offer for a single player I don’t think I touched it for a few months by which time there had been an update that added arcade mode but to be honest I always returned to older versions like dream match and evolution as the single player options were much better

@CharlieGirl I really can’t remember which one it was but I’m sure arcade was added as an update long after the game was released which I think is pretty poor for an arcade game

@CharlieGirl it must be xiv or xv on ps4 one of them is pretty slim on single player modes

This is a great game but I think I didn’t play it much back on ps3 cos it doesn’t include an arcade mode online only which is not great if you plan on playing whilst travelling or whatever

Octopath traveler 2 picked it up at a bargain from Argos and just set up my Dreamcast with GD Emu after my disk drive failed so will be playing some of my favourites this weekend

Ridge racer would be amazing even if it’s just a graphical touch up of the psp versions the vita version is pretty lame

This should be the standard your device will last longer than the battery anyway it’s like laptops at one time you could remove and replace the battery now it has to be sent away or go to a repairer’s which is ridiculous and wasteful

Great game and awesome artwork on all versions very tough decision but I went for Europe as it’s familiar to me but I do really like the North American version too

@RadioHedgeFund yep all my DC controllers still work perfectly my joycons however are unplayable sometimes I just got a spilt pad pro and solved the problem

@Ristar24 Rez is a beautiful game it would be so nice to have it on switch just sit back with an oled switch and some decent headphones would be gaming heaven for me

@Ooyah yeah it was a great game I always found it difficult but interesting at the same time I really should give it a go but to be honest the c64 games that I have played recently all seem to be brutally hard I always think how did I play these back in the day

Street Fighter 6 is probably really good but I bet people will be wary of buying it cos of all the dlc they are probably waiting for it to be rereleased with all the content even tho it’s probably on the disc already just it’s hidden behind a paywall

@Miu Sony used oled for the original ps vita and then later models used an lcd display maybe it’s a cost thing but that’s why the original ps vita is more sought after so it’s not unheard of for that to happen

Metroid Prime remastered on switch it’s one of those games I just don’t want to end and skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast

This is a great game have it on Dreamcast but I will definitely be getting this for switch a collection would have been nice tho but the switch is like my mini arcade

Argos have it for £39.99 that’s cheaper than smyths which is unusual

Final fantasy vii for me on the PlayStation 1 I’m not sure if any of the final fantasy games were available here in the uk before that I was aware of the Snes games but were they ever released in pal territories I’m not sure I was a regular reader of super play and I always felt envy as you could only get them on US import

33% just makes them the same price as retail why not just do a proper sale Nintendo just once the sales would go through the roof

@rushiosan yeah I see what you are saying I thought you meant that certain gameplay elements that were present in the GBA versions were missing in the rerelease I suppose the more you play it the more you would get used to the visuals but I defo agree and I would hate to play metal slug if it had its amazing sprite work taken away

BotW for me just because I was hyped for the game and also for the switch itself I went straight to Game and preordered the game and console for the midnight launch

Why not just put modern warfare remastered on switch seeing as it would run really well and also provide a good test for online it’s still pretty populated online on ps4 plus it’s an excellent game for those who prefer a campaign to online multiplayer

Streets of rage 4 needs to be on this list final vendetta is excellent as well I just think it got released at the wrong time and got forgotten but it’s great especially with 2 players. When horizon chase first came out I really enjoyed it but after repeated plays it’s really started to grate on me it’s like a mobile game where you have no real control over the car just left and right

Mario kart dlc has shown how it should be done it genuinely improves and completes the game when I first heard it was being done in waves I was sceptical but has proved me wrong I still need to purchase BOTW dlc even tho I’ve had the game along with my switch since day 1 😂

Side pocket although not a major release is actually really good but come on Nintendo you can do better

@Anti-Matter do you mean the button that lights up in the middle cos the face buttons are digital only when Sony released the DualShock 2 that’s when they added analog buttons as well as the sticks

@Anti-Matter ps1 controller doesn’t have analog buttons analog sticks maybe but it’s the DualShock 2 from ps2 that has analog buttons

Metroid Prime mainly for me what a game it’s actually better than I remember also loving the new tracks for MK8 DX

@Not_Soos yeah it’s taken about 5 attempts this morning to get the site to load time extension has had the same problem as well for me

Bought this in December played for about a week solid and haven’t touched it since used to love Mario sports games but the ones available on switch are average at best think I had golf for about 2 days before getting fed up with it and selling it so glad I didn’t buy any digitally

This looks insane will definitely give it a go I still play TxK on ps vita

Donkey kong is a superb game expands on the arcade in every way possible would love to see super rc pro am the original double dragon and Kirby’s pinball land

Loved the GBA Sp but as others have said no headphone jack was a mistake I know people on here will roast me for saying but a psp go with a GBA emulator is perfect for public transport it has a much better screen and the flip up design and tiny form factor means you can put it in a shirt pocket even has a headphone jack and Bluetooth

I just go with Link however I bought F Zero maximum velocity second hand and the name on the cart for the best laps was T**t face 😂

@Anti-Matter oh well each to their own I suppose but if you are passing up on Nintendo’s first party efforts then you are missing out. Its the reason I buy Nintendo hardware most 3rd party games are usually better on other platforms anyway

@Anti-Matter sounds like you need to stick to PlayStation gaming Nintendo produce some of the best first party games in the industry and none of them seem to please you

I voted Diddy king racing and Donkey Kong 64 as some have said blast corps has aged like milk great game in its day but it looks and plays horribly nowadays

Seeing as I can’t get the N64 controller for switch I will have to play this on game pass but that means having no online multiplayer as it’s exclusive to switch what a ball ache absolutely ridiculous
