I wish this was available to buy on its own I will have to play it on Xbox but the online multiplayer is exclusive to switch I’m not too bothered about the campaign although from what I remember it was actually really good

Picked this up a few years back on ps vita having never played any of the series and absolutely loved it would recommend it to anyone even if RPGs aren’t your thing

My mrs got me a switch oled at Christmas and yes some games struggle but I love the screen after having a launch day switch it kinda feels like a new console I have a series s but the switch gets the majority of gameplay for me it’s not all about graphics and frame rates I mean I haven’t found a game since Mario Kart 8 that takes up so much of my time I would at least like some news on a switch successor but for now I’m very happy with my switch

@nocdaes yeah it seems like forever even Microsoft have not mentioned anything and it’s meant to be coming to game pass I’ve kinda given up on it

Whatever happened to goldeneye it seems to have been quietly forgotten about 🙁

Just picked up Bayonetta 3 at smyths toys pretty cheap so will be starting that soon also gonna try out a few Amiga games I used to play back in the day see if they still hold up

@sixrings interesting comment but in a good way it got me thinking how many hours I played road rash series on megadrive and you are right it must be 10fps at best but it’s never stopped my enjoyment of the game

Since picking up bit trip runner in the sale it’s become quite an obsession to complete it also picked up an A500 mini stunt car racer is still as good as it was years ago gonna try to beat the track with the stepping stones

Just picked up cruis’n blast really enjoying it quite a lot to take in on your first go but you get used to it great racing game takes me back to early 2000s with big loud and bright arcade style can’t believe it’s taken me this long to get hold of it awesome

Excellent hope they bring more of this kind of stuff to consoles I personally love the game yes it’s technically not as accomplished as SOR4 but I think it has more personality than SOR4 everyone who has tried it on my switch has gone on to buy it whether it be for switch PlayStation or Xbox

Everybody’s golf is one of the main reasons I have kept hold of my ps vita awesome game to relax with I was gonna buy this last week but wanted to wait for a review

I can’t believe people are still buying GTA V I mean it seems as tho there are more copies out there than consoles seriously my local cex has a wall full

1080 pilotwings and excitebike 64 are all amazing games and with the addition of goldeneye I’m definitely upgrading my NSO really want one of the N64 controller’s

Played this on game pass it’s very relaxing not sure I would actually buy it though

Contra 3 the alien wars SNES followed by contra hard corps MD also contra 3 has some outstanding music and sadly hard corps is ridiculously difficult but it’s still an amazing game I always switch to the jap version on the MD mini at least then you get 3 hits per life

Last time I did a midnight launch was when I bought my switch!

The last of us part 1 is an odd one I mean how many times are people gonna buy it originally a ps3 game rereleased for PS4 and now ps5 it’s good but once you have completed it there is not much reason to go back glad to see cowabunga collection doing well I bought it physical on switch and I’m really enjoying it

@Clyde_Radcliffe where is the lag in shredders revenge I’ve played it through a few times and not noticed any even played it with a wireless 8Bitdo arcade stick and not noticed anything at all

@SoulChimera I didn’t know this I would watch any of those , any of them are surely a better choice than space channel 5 even kid chameleon would be more interesting

Comix zone definitely has potential for a movie but space channel 5 😂 what about Golden Axe or Crazy Taxi what I really wanna see is Outrun the movie now I would watch that make it happen Sega

@dluxxx ha lol not reluctant as in I’m not sure about the game I mean about the freezing issues with Doom I absolutely love Quake still play Quake 3 arena online on my trusty Dreamcast

@BulkSlash thanks for the info it’s just never mentioned anywhere and it’s so frustrating I have Doom 64 and you are right that never freezes I know it’s only a minor thing but it puts me off playing

Was gonna buy this but I’m reluctant as I have Doom and Doom 2 but the are annoying me every time I put the console into sleep and try to resume they just freeze doesn’t happen with any other games just those 2

@GameAndLuke you can I never detach my split pad pro and I use it docked about 50% of the time it just looks a bit ridiculous sticking out of the dock

@Tendogamerxxx the switch has a vast library of arcade games arcade archives alone must have over 200 games then you’ve got the Sega ages releases and various others

Held back on buying this after being burned by Mario golf still there is no reason for me to get this which is frustrating cos the actual gameplay is good

Shredders revenge trying to complete the story mode with all the characters and as always recently Andro Dunos 2 going for a 1 credit run but it’s proving to quite difficult excellent games tho

I have had this problem with the capcom home arcade I found that using different power supplies can have varying effects on how the unit runs the one that came with it wouldn’t even turn on at first I got it working but it kept on giving me a black screen when things got hectic on certain games I ended up buying a good quality psu and now it runs fine

Mario kart 8 actually really enjoying the new tracks not played tour so some are a surprise to me tracks like waluigi pinball are classics it’s no where near as bad as the review on here makes it out to be

Sega being onboard with the GameCube was amazing for me it seemed like the Dreamcast continued in many ways these were the type of games I had become accustomed to and to have the added benefit of Nintendo’s awesome output made the GameCube one of my favourite consoles
Still wish I had spice orange GameCube to this day

That is a statement 😂 I would say it’s the worst 3D Mario it’s a chore to play Odyssey is in a different league to sunshine

H.E.R.O C64 I had played the game a lot at school on BBC micro and loved it still have a quick go from time to time on C64 mini and I think I got space pilot about a week later used to be able to buy a couple of games every week with my pocket money 😂 good times!

I went with the sega Saturn version I like the art and the colours look right not over saturated like the switch version

Andro dunos 2 for the second weekend running absolutely love the game oh and trying out power wash simulator on game pass 😂

@JasmineDragon Andro dunos 2 is superb I managed to pick it up reasonably cheap physical last week been playing it ever since has a real quality feel to it
Got back into Mario kart 8 recently can’t wait for some more tracks to arrive

@Ratmasterd21 what you say is true and it’s not always a bad thing cos as we know Nintendo have a knack of getting the best out of their hardware and personally I don’t have a problem the switch it’s just recently I seem to be reading a lot of things about switch having to make compromises when it comes to software compared to other systems available but is that down to devs being lazy when it comes to switch ports cos Nintendo don’t often seem to struggle I have owned my switch since day 1 I just feel it needs a bit more grunt under the hood to truly compete

Oh man I have been looking forward to this so much but it’s getting increasingly common to read about compromised switch versions of various games time to give us an upgrade Nintendo

Persona 4 golden is great played it to death on vita can’t wait to get it on switch also monkey island was a favourite back in the Amiga days can’t wait to see how it turns out

This controller looks crazy why didn’t they release something that would be actually useful like the arcade power stick
