I went with Europe/North America purely for nostalgia reasons cos when I was younger double dragon machines were everywhere and I’m pretty sure that was the artwork that was on the marquee always had a soft spot for double dragon even tho the home conversions were not so great compared to the arcade

@-wc- I agree with you on a lot of your points sometimes when you do actually play the arcade version they don’t feel as polished or as complete as the home versions graphics aside. Rolling thunder 2 was one of the first games I really noticed it on the Mega drive it has mission dialogue before you start and a nice little ending sequence at the end of each level nothing like that on the arcade version. All the capcom fighters on Dreamcast are amazing and they all definitely do have extras and extra polish added to them Third strike on the anniversary collection is no where near as good as the Dreamcast version

Game has been on a steady decline for years the shops at the moment look like a jumble sale and games have kinda taken a backseat to all the merchandise and general tat they sell but they don’t help themselves they are quite high priced compared to Smyths or Argos which where I live they are all within walking distance of each other you can save yourself serious cash just by checking all the stores when buying a new game

Ultra street fighter 2 is a really good game that I think gets overlooked to not even make this list is ridiculous and the street fighter collection deserves a higher score Third strike is one of the greatest fighting games ever created and the collection is worth buying just for that reason alone

@CharlieGirl really don’t know I remember buying a steel book special edition not sure which one but I was so underwhelmed by what was on offer for a single player I don’t think I touched it for a few months by which time there had been an update that added arcade mode but to be honest I always returned to older versions like dream match and evolution as the single player options were much better
