GameCube is the best and didn’t it have an alternative version if you held down Z outside of Nintendo the Dreamcast and PlayStation 1 both have amazing start up sounds

Art of rally is quite addictive but it’s so bare bones even on series x it looks rough glad it was on gamepass it was worth trying but I wouldn’t buy it

Super Mario world has some amazing tunes can’t believe none are included here also double cherry pass from 3D world is so catchy only have to hear it briefly and it’s stuck in my head all day

I’m not so sure about this I was a really big fan recently played through killer 7 again on pc and really enjoyed it but I’m waiting for a sale Travis strikes again is one of if not the worst game I have ever played it mentions the joke wearing thin I think it already did that back in the Wii era

@NoLife I’m sure I read that Sony are interested in a twisted metal remaster plus a new version and also they are looking into resurrecting wipeout just a shame there is nothing like twisted metal on switch

UN squadron is a classic better than the arcade parodius is completely bonkers but it’s still worth a play the SNES had so many classics

Super Mario world and I was blown away still one of my favourite games even now everyone had mega drives at school so I had one but SMW was the first game I felt an attachment to

@BionicDodo I need to look into getting one it’s the only thing that lets it down for me I actually got a DualShock 4 working but it’s hit and miss and the menus and virtual keyboard don’t always work

@BillyB yeah played it on both the c64 and Amiga. Think rainbow arts got scared of Nintendo it’s so similar to super Mario bros practically a 1-1 copy

Gonna pre order this I have the c64 mini and I bought a usb memory stick with practically every game that was made for the c64 hoping something like that will become available for this my only problem with the c64 mini is the horrific joystick

I’ve been pretty critical of this as I felt a bit short changed paying full price for an unfinished game but this is a great article it’s given me the incentive to try and get back into it I was actually gonna sell it but I might as well give this a go plus it’s given me hope that one day it will be complete

So disappointed in this game it’s light on content and just feels unfinished getting a bit dismayed with the switch to be honest what with unfinished games at full price and endless WII U ports

@Ganner yeah I’ve just started pro now and I 100% agree it went from leisurely to insane 😂 still enjoying it tho takes me back to Jimmy whites on the Amiga or pool paradise on the GameCube

Tony hawks pro skater just trying to beat the high score challenges and got pure pool in the eshop sale it’s great the only fault I can find is no overhead view but it’s still excellent

I will buy more but would prefer them to be physical Europe is like an afterthought sort it out capcom

I’m still not 100% sold on this game I didn’t enjoy it first time round and I hate the washed out looking graphics glad to see it has quality of life and technical improvements I won’t say I will wait for a discount cos it will never happen just wish they had given us TWP instead

It’s great if you don’t already have a switch but missing the opportunity to include Bluetooth audio is baffling also a bit of extra power under the hood would have been nice and I don’t mean so it had exclusive games that only run on the oled model just a little boost to make things run a little smoother cos we all know some switch games can stutter along at times

I have a launch switch which has given me no problems apart from the casing coming away at the bottom and a small crack in the casing near the volume button so I’m considering buying one as I have quite a lot of switch games but I’m worried as I have 2 ps vitas one of them is perfect but the other one has a patch at the bottom of the screen where it’s really light I’m wondering if this is a problem with oled screens or whether it’s just bad luck anyone have any ideas?

This is such an odd announcement it’s great if you don’t own a switch or have a broken one and are looking for a replacement but it’s not that far from the price of a ps5 or Xbox whatever this is why Nintendo have held back on giving us any info it seems as tho what the fans ask for Nintendo gives us the opposite

It looks lovely but not enough of an upgrade for me to consider buying some switch games can look a bit muddy in handheld and an oled screen is just gonna make bad textures and the like even more obvious cool if you haven’t already got a switch I suppose

So basically it’s what the original would have been like given a longer testing stage it just corrects the faults of the original and puts a better screen into the mix hope the dock is a little wider as the original scratches the hell out of the switch without being modded not sure it’s worth the extra cash tho

Tony hawks pro skater 1+2 and a bit of Mario golf it’s not great and I’m trying my hardest to get into it but there is just something missing compared to past releases but I’m sticking with at least until we get some dlc

This looks great I love rush rally 3 nearly every aspect of the game is customisable it’s become one of my favourite racing games on switch impressive stuff from a small dev I will be supporting this

@Clyde_Radcliffe I do agree on that 100% the snes had good amount of decent platformers I do subscribe but the whole NSO needs more of everything

Nintendo has a completely different approach to the rest of the industry it’s refreshing in some ways but as Nintendo fans we want old ips resurrected sometimes especially something like f zero I mean someone thought it was a good idea to bring back Bubsy and who asked for that 😂

Mario golf I’m really enjoying it so far, not tried it with motion controls so definitely gonna give that a go also managed to get myself a negcon so will be trying that out with ridge racer on ps1

The shopto price is wrong I preordered for £39.85 and it’s still at that price

My least favourite Zelda would have preferred WW or TP HD but I’m still buying it gonna give it another chance maybe it was the controls but this time we have options

Super Mario world, super ghouls and ghosts pilotwings ,f zero ,super Mario kart those are the games I play most regularly would love to see super pang and castlevania iv but mostly I want N64 and GameCube games pls Nintendo

@FiveDigitLP a friend of mine recommended me to get call of duty modern warfare for PS4 but every time I went to play it there was an update I ended up selling it as I just got bored of waiting a few hours before I could have a go I knew there was a reason I had not played COD in years at least with the switch I can play a game pretty much straight away

@edgedino yeah a week would be ideal possibly be able to finish most games in that time

@KateGray that’s exactly the reason I’ve not used my PS4 in a while and that’s a great point a lot of games nowadays come with a one time use code so renting certain games might not even be possible anymore

Don’t think rental is viable anymore I recently bought spider man on PS4 and it took 4 hrs to update and install I have not touched my PS4 in nearly a year so I thought I would treat myself but imagine having to do that every time you rented a game. Switch games would be fine but I just can’t see people going for it anymore

@Bizzyb it’s great has loads of content I picked it up physical for around the same price as it is on sale on the eshop but that’s in the UK not sure about US though

@PickledKong64 yeah I think Konami now are just a shell of their former self , an also ran ,I play a lot of retro games and they were a driving force they just don’t seem to be bothered anymore

@GrailUK it is I’ve played it for hours with friends so addictive but it has to be the GameCube version it’s not quite the same on PS2 the controls in the GC version are way more precise

Monkey target is one of the finest mini games ever

I bought the Mario edition wired power A for my son and to be honest it’s awful stiff analog sticks and absolutely useless dpad on the plus side the usb cable is ridiculously long so I use that for other things but no way will this be worth $99

It’s £59.99 at smyths toys as well noticed it last night
