Ehh, it's a game that has an objective of taking out the other players. I'm more shocked that 48 people were able to not sabotage each other that long and none of them thought a giant ramp for a better view was a bad idea

Played a round of Fortnite.....was doing good until I went back for a better weapon, guy walked in on me I panicked, launched a grenande switched to a hunting rifle and died before I got a shot off even though I seen him well before he seen me.....I'll go back to Splatoon 2 now

Step 1 find weapons fast
Step 2 hide and stay near edge of circle
Step 3 make it into top 10
Step 4 die in a fire fight because I'm bad at building and shooting
Step 5 come in 2nd - 6th every match

It's a shame because Baseball isnmy favorite sport video game to play. I'll keep out hope for NES Baseball Stars on the 40th SNK collection........or maybe Nintendo will make a MLB game again

So........what does this solve? I'll be able to play these games on my Switch in a couple of months and it already has a screen and is portable. As a preference I'd rather play these on a d-pad so I really have no use for this.

Neat idea from a creativity perspective but I'm not sure the point, short of Nintendo wanting to sell a $89.99 add on for the Switch.

Labo is a neat idea. I've seen a lot of Kids Creativity Monthly Packs being advertised lately at $29.99 a month for similar items that do not have electronic integration.

I don't think they are far off with the product, but maybe they need a different way of selling it? Maybe it should be $49.99 software and then cardboard items sold separately. Like the toys to life concept.

Or maybe like the toys to life this just isn't going to be as big as its potential?

I do hope they try a few more Labo packs though. If nothing else it should help push R&D into interesting new ideas for non Labo games.

I do think a holiday release would have been better though. I could have seen Labo being one of the "crazy parents fighting over" kind of holiday items.

Anything can be an addiction. If you do anything to an extent that it controls your life then it's time to take a step back and think about what you are doing.

If this ends up having the NES Version of Baseball Stars on it I will buy it day 1. I may do that anyway........but I loved the customization of that game.......and it's a good baseball game as well

I didn't care for Awakening, Fates story wasn't great either.......so I'd prefer a better game in general I guess. But definitely want the game to be closer to Fates.....more challenge, more variety. Hopefully the story can match the game play this time around.

Seems like some of the missions, you lead groups of soldiers so I'm interested to see how that plays out.

I tried it last night. I think I had fun with the 1 round I played but I got caught in the storm and couldn't get out. Probably should learn to play before I actually play the game.

@rjejr - Splatoon 2 is amazing, other then I miss the gamepad map and the changed jump button still gets me from time to time..........hopefully they will come out with a GOTY Edition for you with all the DLC

@masterLEON - yes, that is why I'll be waiting for the complete list for the Switch game, I have a feeling I will like that collection much more then either of these

I'll wait and see what the 40th anniversary collection on Switch looks like.

It feels like Switch already has more retail releases then Wii U had in its lifetime. I have no idea what the official stats are, but looking at this article, it certainly seems like a ton more games are making their way to Switch owners shelves.

@Toshiro_Baloney - It's a decent game, but was $19.99 when released for Wii U and I paid all of $7.99 three months later. If you are interested I'd wait for the inevitable sale.

My boys are having fun with Quest. It's free, it's entertaining enough to keep them occupied and they have 3 different versions of the game going.

Let's Go, I think, will be Switches version of Pokemon Snap. It isn't going to be for everyone an obviously the mechanics and style of the game will annoy some of the "Pokemon Purists" but I think it will be enjoyed by most.

My boys were annoyed by the 2019 release date for the mainline RPG Pokemon game. They were both hoping it would be out this year. Having said that, they both want Let's Go and the Poke Ball accessory. I don't know if they will get it but at least for now Nintendo has their attention and they are getting hooked into the Pokemon culture.

I could not care less at this point as I'm a little too old to have Pokemon as nostalgia, but I'm excited for the Fans, that they get 3 games announced overnight and some hype going into the next year and a half for their Switches.

Now if only Nintendo hooks me up with 3 Fire Emblem games for the Switch.......hahaha

Fire Emblem to be more along the lines of the radiant series then the 3DS games.

Plants Vs Zombies Garden Warfare II

Pokémon Switch releasing in 2018

Regardless E3 will be fun. I don't expect anything so everything becomes new and exciting.

I loved my N64......but the games are very ugly now in comparison to the 8 & 16 bit pixel art. Plus most of my favorite games were 3rd party or Rare so I'm not sure I'd pick this up if it ever exists. It would depend on the games I guess. I'd rather see remake collection(s) on my Switch.

Baseball Stars and Banner Saga for me......but waiting to see if either BS gets a physical version from SNK 40th or a trilogy Banner Saga on cartridge

Really enjoyed this game once I got the hang of it......but no need to double dip on Switch. If you are on the fence, pick it up when it goes on sale. It's worth playing in my opinion

Loved this style of book as a kid......not sure how well it translates into a video game but I'm willing to read a few reviews

I'd rather have a Star Fox closer to Rogue Squadron........or an F-Zero game, but I'm not against this. It could be really good.

My only question is about the family plan. I have a feeling it is based on up to 8 users on 1 Switch and not 8 separate Switches. I need that to be clarified by Nintendo. Other then that I'm ok with it. I prefer the free current version, but I'm ok with renting classic NES/other games for $35 a year if the over all online experience continually improves.

This reminds me.....I still haven't beat the final boss on Wii U.......I need to do that

It was great all those years ago but I believe there are far better arcade football games available then this. Don't know if we will ever get them because of licensing and other issues.........but I will hold off in hopes of something better in the future

Not bothered by any of it. VC is just a name, Switch is still getting retro games from many different sources, and with their references to collections, I'm even more certain we will see cartridge versions of NES and SNES mini on switch

it was opening weekend for my Sons baseball teams..........so now Sunday night at 9:30 I have a chance to play games.....but I just want to go to bed....Maybe next weekend

Baseball Stars for NES had the ability to create and build your own teams.......I don't think that is possible with BSP?

Still may buy it but the NES version holds more nostalgia for me

1 Million is a nice number but I'm a little surprised this isn't 1 Million on Switch or maybe 2 or 3 Million total. Well received and reviewed plus nostalgia seems like it should have sold a lot more then 1 Million. Still it is a good number and hopefully decent money for the developers

The hate for this is sad. It is brilliantly Nintendo and something that should be praised. I'm not buying it, but it doesn't take away from what it is and the enjoyment that so many will get from it. Nintendo is still working on the games that I want, until they are finished I'll play the games I have and enjoy some of the amazing stories and creations that come from Labo that are sure to become regular stories here in NLife

I remember getting 230 lines on NES Tetris and thinking it was a remarkable feat.....but I never paid attention to scores on that game.

A 40th anniversary game is coming to Switch right? Unless the games are marginally different then I will buy that and skip the mini console. But the Neo Geo is the console I wish I owned as a kid so maybe this is my opportunity

Seems like a great idea and an interesting "game" especially the story book tie in. Don't think I will purchase it, but I applaud the developers efforts!

The Wii had some amazing titles and a lot of potential with games that never seen the light of day or struggles to get out of Japan. Shame it will be know as the non HD wiggle Wii Sports machine. Maybe Wii U should have been Wii HD minus the gamepad and the Switch could be the novel ifea it is without the is it Wii U 1.5 comparisons

To be honest.......I really only want NES, SNES, GBA, and Arcade perfect ports. The N64, Gameboy, DS, 3DS, Wii games would be better suited for some remakes considering how poorly most of that generation has aged. Even the GBA I'm on the fence about....they just don't seem to work as well on the new TV's as much as the NES or SNES games.
Still there are a lot of N64 and Gamecube games I'd love to be able to download if they had a fresh coat of paint and a little love to update their looks.

The VC is alive and well, just in a different form. Tons of Neo Geo games, a few Nintendo and other arcade ports, all of them seemingly well done from a porting and development standpoint. Soon to come, Sega games and some sort of online service we still know nothing about. There are plenty of retro options and retro inspired options on the eshop currently for prices that are in line with what VC charged. Would I like access to every game I ever loved as a child/teen/young adult right now......yes......but sadly half are licensing disasters, another 1/4 wouldnt sell to anyone else but me, so the other 1/4 are working their way to my eshop and I will buy them when they arrive.

I'm super tempted to buy this.....the 4 player co-op and the review are making this hard to resist

A lot of quality Indies as of late.....and really most of Switch's short existence. Really makes me wish I had more time and unlimited money

My kids will be excited by a new Pokémon so when it is shown I can give them some fun news
