In the last Nintendo Direct focused on Nindies, one of the standout titles shown off was that of Pool Panic, billed as “the world’s least realistic pool simulator”. Though it still holds to the basic conventions of pool, this game looks absolutely nuts; placing you as the cue ball in a variety of bizarre and humorous situations where you must seek and sink every other ball on the map. It looks like loads of fun, and though the game still doesn’t have a release date, it recently got a new trailer.
If you view the video above, you can get a feel for the kind of game that Pool Panic is, going for a diverse and weird gameplay experience that’s sure to keep you on your toes. Hopefully it won’t be too much longer until Adult Swim launches this one; we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
What do you think? Will you be picking this up? How are your skills at actual pool? Share your thoughts in the comments below.

I love the randomness and art style, but I’ll wait for a review.
Loved the look of this ever since its reveal. As long as it controls well, I'm on board.
Can't wait to get into some zany billiards shenanigans.
What even is this?
While I'm more for an arcade approach, it's good to finally see a faithful reproduction of pool games mechanics with realistic ball collision physics coming to Switch.
I love this!
Day one buy - super excited for this.
I want a physical release (Lenny face).
@Audiobrainiac same here
I'm getting day one
I loved Battle Chef Brigade, so I'm trusting that Adult Swim picks good games to publish so day 1 for me.
this looks like it could be great........but I will take a wait and see approach
Too perfect. This is one of my most anticipated games. Easy.
Interesting.
This was a nindie that nobody really talked about after that direct, but I really wanted to hear more about!
This is on my list of games to get. Looks like it’ll be fun.
It is very representative of what Adult Swim is all about these days.
