Yeah I agree. I would love to try this since I never played it originally, but $29.99 is a little steep.

Love the look and idea of the game, but the long and frequent loading times will definitely keep me away unless they can fix it some.

Was definitely excited to see this one announced. I played the first one, I believe, but not the second one. And it has been so long ago now that it will feel like a new game anyway.

I liked Other M just fine. It's definitely not the best Metroid game. I know a lot people took issue with some the story elements and such. One criticism I do have for it was the volume of cutscenes and how long some of them were. It was a little much for a Metroid game for sure.

I need to get Wolfenstein II. Also, may as well get Okami, haven't played it since the Wii days.

Yeah surely they'll get us Mother 3 in the West eventually. Pretty sure that Earthbound and Earthbound Origins were a big hit for them on Wii U Virtual Console. Oh well.

Let's have Super Double Dragon on Switch. We have virtually all the other Double Dragon games. Haven't played that one in, what, 25 years?

I gotta go with the NES top-loader. I looked better and it definitely functioned better with the cartridges. But the 2DS XL is a close second too

Enjoyed the article. Sonic 2 remains my favorite as well, though I do love all of the Genesis ones. Those chaos emeralds are definitely tough to get the last 2-3 collected. Thanks!

Ah. I was hoping for Dragon Quest V since I haven't played that one. I already have Dragon Quest III on Switch, even if it is not a remake like this. Oh well.

Me too. I've never gotten a chance to play it. Hopefully we'll get it on Switch like we did I, II, III.

Hmm. Might have to get this for the granddaughter, she'll be 4 soon. Get her started on her gaming journey, on console instead of Iphone or Kindle Kids apps.

I need to get the trilogy for Switch. I think the only one I've played is Justice for All. So it's definitely a bargain.

Yeah I don't see New Horizons catching Mario Kart. Mario Kart is almost a guaranteed sale for any new Switch owner. It's that game that pretty much any gamer (or non-gamer for that matter) can get into and enjoy.

There was a little buzz about it back when it released, especially due to the graphics and cutscenes. I bought it for Sega CD back then. But yeah I don't think it was necessarily a big seller, other than being on multiple consoles at the time.

Hmm. I downloaded it but have not played it yet. Maybe they will update with a patch or two eventually.

Echo what everyone else here is saying about the ridiculous price. I guess it has content on it that you pay for in the free-to-start mobile version? Crazy!

Yeah they need to find different reviewers if they are going to complain about a game being a type they are not interested in. It's one thing if they had complaints about technical faults in the game itself. But giving a Pokemon Snap game a lower score because it is a Pokemon Snap game? SMH

Yeah my son was 5-6 or so when I bought the original back when it released. It should be fun for any child old enough to play on a Switch. On the original game, there were several Pokemon that required faster reflexes and special requirements to capture a pic of. But there were plenty of easier ones that are right along the "path"

I just saw where the American Football player Justin Jefferson will have his touchdown celebration dance featured in the game too.

During the Wii-U days I always thought that it seemed like a no-brainer for them to make a new Pokemon Snap for it. That Wii-U gamepad seemed perfect for it.

Little Mouse's Encyclopedia. Might be a fun one to try with the granddaughter.

Yeah that's a good idea. They ported so many games from Wii-U to give them a second chance to be played, especially since so many missed out on the Wii-U. The same is virtually true of the Gamecube games. 18 years since GX came out on Gamecube?! There's a huge group of current gamers who weren't even born yet or too young to be playing F-Zero back then for sure.

I'd say indigo or royal blue. Both those colors usually have somewhat of a purple tint to them.

Yeah they should have made the Switch Lite compatible with a dock, and just not sold it with a dock to keep the lower price. It loses the key element that makes it a "Switch" without being able to switch between handheld and TV. Oh well.

@Longondo Have you played the first game? That’s virtually what the game is, with a little bit puzzle elements thrown in to get pictures of all the Pokémon and the highest-graded photos. It’s kind of a tough call if you’re on the fence about it, especially for a full price game

I have it preordered. Really enjoyed the N64 game. I think we may even have some of the pictures somewhere that my son printed out at Blockbuster back then.

The original game, I believe it technically ended after capturing photos of all the Pokemon. Or at least after getting to Mew and getting a good picture of it. That's when the credits roll if I remember correctly

I know we hear this all the time but... “come on, Microsoft, give us Rare Replay like you did the Ori games and Cuphead!”. They’ve got to know that it would sell better than it did on XBox. Oh well

I splurged back then so I could play with my son and daughter. Son already had a GBA so just had to buy one for the daughter and three copies of the game and the cord. Fun stuff!

Hmm. I definitely didn't expect to see Weepinbell and Slowpoke on here.

Yeah the Disney Afternoon collection still stings. There is no reason at all not to put them on the Nintendo console since they are games from a Nintendo console to begin with. I also still can't believe that Square Enix hasn't ported the Kingdom Hearts collections. They would sell a ton.

I was wondering if there'll be a digital version? Surely there will be? I would love to give it a try, but I don't necessarily want to spend $60-$70 to.

I enjoyed the game. Didn’t have any problem with the graphics or frame rate personally. Of course I don’t have another system besides the Switch. It would definitely be better to get this for PS4/XBOX/PC is you have one of those, but it is definitely adequate for those of us who only have a Switch

Has it only been 11 years since the peak for the Wii? Seems a lot longer since we went through the Wii U lifecycle and the 4 years of Switch now. Crazy!

I know what you mean. I bought it on Wii U and the DLC. So it's been, what, 6-7 years of it for me so I'd love a new game or at least some more DLC. But the bad thing is that virtually every time there is a new household that gets a Switch, MK8 Deluxe is also one of the obligatory games they buy for it.

I'm intrigued by Blue Fire. I definitely need that Turrican collection
