So that's your lot for this week's North American Nintendo Download. Go on, be a sport and drop a vote in the poll above, and comment below with your hot picks!
Sky looks interesting, and it's free, so I'll get that. My kid will probably want to get Mario Golf at some point.
I've been so excited for a new Disgaea game! Can't wait for 6.
A lot of potentially interesting stuff this week (Mario Golf, THPS, Legend of Mana, Disgaea 6, DDLC), but it's all in either "wait for reviews" or "wait for a sale" territory for me. Not a problem as the Stories 2 demo drops tomorrow and I'll be busy with that!
I'm wondering if Mario Golf has a real campaign, or if it'll be the half baked garbage campaign Aces had? A full campaign in the style they showed at treehouse looks fun. If it's that POS time wasting glorified tutorial that Aces had, I'm out.
What a week!
The Tony Hawks and Legend of Mana for me, and maybe Zombies, Mario Gold and Disgaea if they are reviewed well.
Nothing really on Switch for me this year until Metroid and then SMTV and Advance Wars
I'll be downloading Mario Golf at the weekend and Tony Hawk Remastered in the next week or two.
I'll wait for a sale on Zombies Ate my Neighbours /Ghoul Patrol.
I plan to get several of these games, but buying physical. I've been waiting for Disgaea 6 for so long!
Doki Doki Literature Club
Legend of Mana
Zombies Ate my Neighbors/Ghoul Patol
and possibly Destroy All Humans.
Big $$$ week for me.
@fragranthills DDLC is slightly discounted until July 7th
Definitely getting the Zombies/Ghoul Patrol. Want to play the Legend of Mana, but that price is a little high.
Zombies Ate My Neighbors is seriously a fun game. Very creative in the best LucasArts way.
I don’t think that Arcade Space Shooter 2 in 1 has 60% of the audience on this site. Poll has probably been slammed by the creators of this game and their Twitter followers.
@JSDude1 was thinking the same thing!
I'll be picking up Mario Golf and Tony Hawk from Best Buy tomorrow morning. My sister and I are excited to play Zombies Ate My Neighbors (One of our favorite games growing up) on Tuesday so we will both be downloading that. I will also have to pre-order Zombies Ate My Neighbors for Switch and PS4 from Limited Run because I need the physical copies of one of my favorite games of all time. That will be it for the week
Surprisingly big haul for me this week. Zombies + GP, Tony hawk, and Mario Golf.
@JSDude1 dude I was thinking the same thing! I actually had to go look up what the hell it was since it's currently sitting at 50%+. Did they think slamming that vote tab would make people want their game more? Unless it's legit and half the voters are getting it. To which I'd say, guess I was wrong.
Today's Arcade Archive is Shingen Samurai Fighter.
I thought it looked like a Jaleco knockoff of Golden Axe, except it is dated a year earlier.
Still have an original copy of ZAMN, so I ordered the reprint copy of Ghoul Patrol.
Crazy what an original copy costs these days, and that somehow PAL is the cheapest of those (even if it's the region I can't play unless I want to find an adapter.)
THE POLL IS A SHAM lol
Disgaea 6, Tony Hawk, Destroy All Humans, Ender Lilies, Legend of Mana, these are all I'm buying for this week. Probaby won't be getting Mario Golf until much much later in the generation.
@NintendoByNature they probably figured that “all press is good press”. The fact that we’re talking about the game and more people ~are~ looking it up probably got them at least 10% more sales than they normally would-but it’s just extremely annoying b/c it screws up what should be a fun (yet unscientific) poll of popular games. I REALLY hope that other developers don’t do ~this~ novel form of marketing again b/c it could really pss off Nintendo fans such as us (as well as the admins) of NintendoLife.
@JSDude1 I feel like if you're game is good enough it'll be talked about for reasons other than a weekly poll. So I doubt any devs will pull this stunt often, hopefully..
Why is some shovelware space shooter thing so upvoted? Looks like some bots at work.
Anyway, I'm getting Disgaea 6 and Zombies Ate My Neighbors.
Only 7% for ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS?!!!! You should all be ashamed of yourselves!!! It's a Masterpiece and you won't support a Brilliant Game!!!!
I Highly recommend Buying ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS or I WILL EAT YOU ALL!!!!!!
Better turn that "maybe" into a Definitely!! ZOMBIES ATE MY NEIGHBORS IS Incredible!!!!
@DTfeartheBEARD Same here!! It's my all time favorite game as well! I've purchased it for my Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, my Wife's Nintendo Switch Lite, and my Son's Nintendo Switch Lite; in fact, I've purchased the Physical Copy Box Set from Limited Run as well!!!
@OorWullie A Masterpiece Like Zombies Ate My Neighbors doesn't deserve a Sale, it deserves Support!!!
