Re: Capcom Devs Open To New Mega Man Battle Network Game, But Need To Consider "All" Factors

Forill

When I saw these classics come out left right and centre I started getting hopeful that Battle Network would get ported. I am stil hopeful that it would.

My thoughts on the matter is port the classics and see how they sell. With Battle Network indie games popping up recently I think there is a hint that there is want for it. Release the Battle Network classics, see how they sell and you will have your amswer

Re: What Year Is It? Nintendo's Wii U Is Getting A New Game Today

VG && IG: Good Day Nintendo, we would like to put our game on your system
Nintendo: No problem at all the Nintendo Switch has a variety of great games and we always welcome new talent.
VG && IG: No we want it on the Wii U.
Nintendo: ...the Wii U?
VG && IG: Yes
Nintendo: Well we do have the Wii but you will have to release physical.

Re: Review: My Time At Portia - An Engaging Life Sim That Will Eat Up Your Spare Time

a 7/10 is good. Yeah look I really am enjoying this game. It needs to some work but I have faith in these devs. If I think about how they brought this game from "pretty much nothing to do" in early access to NIntendolifes titles “A game that could end up racking hundreds of hours on your Switch“ it is clear that these devs love their game. They are also very active with the community which I like. In its current state I am still enjoying it but i agree with 7/10. Once they fix the issues that score can easily be a 9 to 10/10. Fantastic game.

Re: Scratch That Stardew Valley Multiplayer Itch With Harvest Life, A New Cutesy Farming Sim On Switch

Forill

Can never get enough of these. Keep them coming. We already have Stardew Valley, Dungeon Village and Townsmen. Still waiting for My Time at Portia, Summer at Mara, Animal Crossing and Story of Seasons. This one will be a nice addition to that collection. There were more but these are the ones at the top of my head.

OOOOH!!! Let us not forget about Dragon Quest Builders 2 that is also coming next year.

Re: Indie Devs Explain Why Their Games Are Successful On Nintendo Switch

Forill

I still say to this day that we should be thankful for indies. AAA games are great yes but a lot of them are going the router of EA in making money either than releasing quality games. Indie devs are pushing out so many different types of games that there is something for everyone. For me, Dungeon Village, Valthirian Arc: Hero School Story, Stikbold! A Dodgeball Adventure, Guilt Battle Arena and Townsmen are freaking amazing games but for other they might be considered "shovelware". Shovelknight is a game beloved by millions, it made it as an assist trophy is Smash but for me that game is no fun. I think you get where I am going with this. Please keep it up indie devs.

Re: Huawei Is Launching A New Gaming Phone To Rival The Switch, And It Costs Over $1,000

Forill

I would say I am curious but cautious. Look at the N-Gage, also was an amazing concept for the time but had no games what so ever. As person that loves and all forms of handheld gaming I am interested but for that price range I need to know what this things can do and in detail, what it will offer in terms of exclusives. So I will keep an eye on this for now and start saving but will see closer to the time whether it is worth buying.

Re: First Details Emerge For Minecraft-Like Cube Creator X on Switch

Forill

There is nothing specifically that blew me away about Cube Creator. Being a fan of Minecraft, Dragon Quest Builder and (to a degree) Portal Knights I must say this really needs to bring something unique to the table. I do not have a problem with Minecraft clones but just add something to it that makes it unique enough for someone like me to want to buy it.

Re: Reggie on How Nintendo Handles Announcements and Responds to Fan Input

Forill

@samuelvictor Thing is Nintendo cannot take responsibility for a 10 year old googling porn on a phone but they can take responsibility for exposing their children to vulgar language on their system. You are not wrong, the problem still comes that majority of parents do not set up parental settings because they either do not know how or they do not know it was there to begin with. Lets face it, children of today are much smarter than the children of the last generation or the generation before that. The children will probably end up setting it up themselves and then when the shit hits the fan then it is too late. Nintendo gets hit with a media storm backlash of "It was suppose to be family friendly." In theory you are correct but even if they did do it as you say I personally think it would still not have worked out.

Maybe an app directly on the system might work assuming the system can take it but even so it is on the Nintendo system, yeah it is a difficult one to be honest. It is easy for us because we want it but we are not the ones that sits with the backlash of angry parents when the shit hits the fan.

Re: Reggie on How Nintendo Handles Announcements and Responds to Fan Input

Forill

@SLIGEACH_EIRE Yeah that App is pretty stupid but at the same time I do not blame Nintendo. Parents buy Splatoon 2 for their child because it looks friendly. They get into the game and all of a sudden you start hearing

"I am going ****ing **** your mother you ****ing *******!!!!"

It is not Nintendos fault, that is the gamers fault for being how they are. I think the App was never even meant to have voice chat, I think they wanted it as a way to manage some in game content and check stats for various games. I think a voice chat program is generous.

Re: Video: Check Out Cordelia's Sweeping Moves in Fire Emblem Warriors

Forill

@getyourak For the most part these games are not all that hard BUT in certain stages there are tactics involved that are important and if you screw that up you can lose the game. If you have to capture point A, B and C in 5 min but you only have 2 characters then you have to best decide how to utilize those characters effectively to capture both points based on where the points are and where you characters are.

Also, some boss fights and mini boss fights can get quite challenging. The game looks easy because of all the mindless drones in the way but for the most part they are just there to be in the way and nothing more.

Re: Capcom Reportedly Gearing Up for Multiple Nintendo Switch Titles

Forill

I do not have a problem with Capcom and I must be one of the few that is not angry that we are not getting a Switch port for MH World. I am a little sad and a little sour over XX but I still have faith that we are going to get a MH title eventually As for ports, I say GO FOR IT CAPCOM!!! but do not expect my money for it though. There are people that do want it but I am not forking out one cent for a port of a game I have played before.

Re: Splatoon 2 Version 1.1.2 Is Now Live

Forill

@Ignatius Before I read it I thought that was damage XD I thought the debuffed it. Before you laugh at me just know I am new to the game. When I say new I mean I started playing yesterday

Re: Review: Fate/Extella: The Umbral Star (Switch)

Forill

I actually wanted to get this for the Vita but when I heard it is releasing for Switch I decided to wait. I cannot wait to play this next week when I get paid. I am actually watching the Fate Stay Night anime in the mean time while I wait.

Re: Poll: What Did You Think of the Pokémon Direct and Its Big Reveals?

Forill

@Whopper744 I feel exactly the same way. I was hyped for Pokken Tournament but when I saw Ultra I just lost it. I have every 3DS release and every DS release except for Black and White. I am not paying R600 just to get National Pokedex. Still rather pissed off about the news. Nintendo needs to move on.
