For me, E3 was only ever a time for reveals. I dont mind where the mid June reveals come from, only that they come. Also I'm Nintendo only; so don't care what, when or where the others do what they do.

I asked an online chat rep for a free repair in UK today, outside of warranty. They said no.
So to anyone saying otherwise in the UK, what did you do to get it?

When she was announced to appear in Odyssey, and I saw the name New Donk City, I had high hopes that Donkey Kong would appear to steal Pauline away as part of the story. That would have been such an awesome throwback. I'd like some kind of Mario vs. Donkey Kong in a 3D platformer someday.

Axel from Streets of Rage would have been a better, more recognisable, choice.

So, Nintendo charge a crazy high price for this pitiful little shell of plastic; some other company comes along with a reasonably priced option; and it mysteriously becomes unusable after Nintendo release an apparently do-nothing update.. and nobody finds this suspicious..?

Even before Nintendo and Sega stuff really came to dominate, they had these great long aisles jam packed with games on casettes for the Sinclair Spectrum, Amiga and Commodore 64 back in the 80s.
My dad used to take me there as a small boy every Saturday to buy a few. They were only about a fiver each. Fond memories.

We're not allowed to have a Halloween themed Splatfest in Europe; it's haram.

My favourite Mario art era was the drawings in the Mario World and Mario 3 manuals.

Luckily for me that style has been well used lately, like in Mario Run and the still 'photograph' images from Mario 3D World.

It's ok that they innovate and move things forward now. Nintendo always eventually brings old things back around anyway, which I love.

It will probably release on the 'New Nintendo Switch'.

It's ridiculous enough that online Salmon Run will be a time limited event; but if it's going be as rare as a Splatfest, that's an absolute outrage.

Also, if you can play 2 player Salmon Run offline, then why not 1 player~? I mean, why not??

@ATZW1980 To get the hang of it, just go around painting the floor before taking on enemy players.

Nintendo made the game so that you don't have to get into fire fights with other players to be useful to your team.

It says here the Switch Everywhere messenger bag comes out on the 25th of March, but I've had one since 3rd of March (UK)...

As soon as I saw this article I rushed to check my screen in the bright white home screen...

Thankfully it's all clear, but it would have driven me crazy if I had found a permanent black or bright pink or green pixel in my display.

I can't accept blemishes like that. I'm very OCD about these things.

@KIRO You haven't, that always happens. You have to use sticky tape to pull the protector back up again (not easy), then use another piece of sticky tape in a loop and roll it on the underside of it to collect the dust particles.

It takes a while...

Whenever I get a new screen, a protector goes on before first use.

I always dread that nightmare with the sticky tape to get rid of all the dust trapped underneath it.. But I'm always relieved and very pleased once it's done.

Aazingly, GAME got all items (Switch, Zelda, screen protector and carry case) all delivered on the morning of 3rd of March...

The switch was sent by DPD, and the other three items were only sent the day before by regular Royal Mail... I have no idea how they reached me on time.

For me it's perfect and I'm loving it more than any game in quite some time.

Also I must praise GAME for sending all my items on time. They really pulled through~

@Sean161 personally, the reason I chose GAME over Nintendo is that it added £7.60 credit to my loyalty account...

But now I think about it... if some of the bits don't arrive on Friday, it won't have been worth it.

From GAME I ordered the switch, zelda, screen protector, and a carry case thing for the whole console.

Yesterday I got notification that all four items have been packaged...

The system itself will dispatch by next day courier service, but I'm waiting to see that the other items are sent today, otherwise I won't get them for Friday...

All I ever want out of E3 is the Nintendo presentation; and they'll probably just broadcast their own thing online, anyway.

But $250 practically buys you a console, so I wouldn't pay that. Not to mention travel expenses from UK to California, plus accommodation~

If they had gone with the cutting edge technology, they would have made it one of the major selling points.

@SLIGEACH_EIRE I have the cartoon channels on a lot over Christmas (to brighten things up a bit, you know), and every other advert on those was for some Nintendo game.

So they definitely do use TV ads a lot, but they target their ads in a way that skips over you.

And that's Nintendo UK I'm talking about, btw.

Oh phew.. I'm glad they gave Zelda a UK accent. NoA could so easily have given her some cutesy little American school girl voice; and I would have been cringing my way through this whole game.

If ever there's a big tumultuous political change, there will be hits to the currency and stock market and all of that.

It should only be temporary until the situation is resolved and things settle down.

But until then, our purchasing power drops.. and it could last a few years~

I preordered one at Amazon UK, but somehow I doubt there'll be a shortage of them.. unless contrived.

@hieveryone They probably don't mean meteorological spring (almost no one ever does).

It's probably just colloquial spring where March, April, May = spring.
