Well next year AMD is releasing ZEN CPU, which will be the first time in long time where AMD will forget the "More cores = more performance", and will develop highly efficient and powerful CPUs, and a way to get back into the CPU game

Hopefully (but im not really holding my breath), the APU used by Nintendo its based on the ZEN technology (or at least Kavieri).

3DS is already saturated, theres no otherway around

Nintendo would be fool not to release a new handheld (actually 5 years and a half its a decent time for a handheld) in 2016 in Japan (Summer i guess)

@rjejr They did more then enough, it had a lot of push at some point, it didnt work out... do you want them to keep throwing money into te WiiU ? Sony abandoned the Vita not even 18 months after release.

This game will never sell well, with or without marketing, its too niche.

In fact, AMD announced a system with 8 times the power of the PS4 (I dont know the price but thats besides, its the fact that the new consoles arent as powerful as companies made it out to be), not only that, the Nvidia system based on mobile technology has slightly more than 50% the power of the PS4... give it 2-3 years and Mobile technology will have as much power as the PS4/XB1

@Samurai_Goroh cant you blame them ? Its just like Sony with the Vita, its just not worth it.

It sucks for us owners but what can you do about it ? At this point releasing any new games have a serious risk of affecting the series as a whole.

I think the game looks cool, but the biggest problem is that it has "Metroid" in its tittle, if it didnt, nobody would rage.

if its running at 60fps i could care less about graphics anyway.

@arnoldlayne83 I dont think the WiiU was a bad idea at all !! I ws really excited actually, DS/3DS has very good double screen games that take full advantage of the double screen setup, you just need to adapt this.

But somehow Nintendo never understood why they did this, i feel like they released something that they could never "get". I dont think it would have sold 100m consoles but if Nintendo had released the WiiU with a game of their own with clever use of the gamepad (I never counted Nintendo Land by the way) maybe its faith would have been somewhat different.

Im not agaisnt the double screen gimmick, ZombiU did it really really well and added a lot to that game, but the problem is that most of the time its added because its there and sometimes, ends up affecting the whole product.

Affordable Space Adventure and ZombiU are the only games i can remember which had a significant use of the Gamepad, fun thing ? neither was from Nintendo.

It was never bad, but people were expecting the big bombs (rightfully so... But hey, there will be a Direct coming... Right guya ? ) and besides a few games Nintendo has never been good at announcing games 1-2 years before release.

I think Directs are awesome and its the right movement BUT... most companies have 1 maybe 2 times to talk with the people so they can ahve a lot of blockbusters from 1 year to the other.

Directs are indirectly affecting Nintendo E3 since its really really hard to get a new blockbuster tittle in so little time.

Its kickstarter, i would not be surprised if they add a WiiU/XB1 goal at some point

@rjejr Shenmue 3 and FF7 are both coming to PC, for the same price you get a much better experience (much better graphics and frame rate)

I LOVED the event, it was godlike. I was screaming, laughing and all kind of stuff while they were playing Super Mario Maker... i cannot believe i was screaming to my screen like i did with the football WC game between Chile and Brazil or a game from my team.

That was by far the best way to advertise Super Mario Maker, and im glad they did.

@ikki5 Its already selling, doubt it would do any good to cut the price, just get as much as you can by now.

Splatoon is hot and its selling WiiUs at this price, doubt thats the problem (if anything, drop the price AFTER Splatoon lose some steam, to entince more people being on the fence)

These are the WiiU releases (bar Xenoblade wich sold about 85k), Splatoon did SUPER well

Splatoon = worth it
