There's no slowdown, why would they announce a price drop at this point? considering there's pokemon coming + the lite, i don't see a price drop this year.

This is so boring with how digital is this huge (3k yen switch promotion + voucher)

some games in Japan are more expensive than others (FE3H being one of them) so the voucher would give a massive disscount (like 2000 yen, which is like $17 USD) on this and supposedly Astral Chain.

There's no tell how it actually did until October, we will have to wait

either way i think this game will do way better in the west (the setting) while being slighlty lower in Japan (Overall, above awakening & fates, no doubt about it)

Also, no way to tell if some FE fans are just flatout waiting for the Lite to come out

Becareful, numbers might be much higher because Maker 2 might have a more digital push because of some promotions going for switch right now

Between the vouchers + the promotion the switch had in japan(3k yen for the eshop) means there's less incentive for physical sales, this is going to be interesting in the coming months because the high profile switch games have better digital offer because the vouchers

it shows hardcore fans are way too few and could not keep this series afloat, meanwhile normal people that play games because they are fun are not only keeping fire emblem alive but made it a fundamental pillar for Nintendo.

I feel like this is the standard pr answer to "It's actually coming, but we got caught with our pants down so we just started porting"

like almost every time a game developers say they are "considering X game" actually got themselves a switch port

Also the second one is super good, especially after the DLC, terribly underrated and imo it had the best PVP and Coop of all games, also it had tons of weapos and builds, really tons of content overall

I think the problem with 3 is the engine they used for it, even normal Ps4 has problems running Bloodborne and Dark Souls 3.

Really hard to think it would run on Switch, would need some serious modifications, and before someone tell me about Doom and Wolfenstein, Id Tech probably is a much more flexible engine.

the full featured FM is way too complicated for it's own right, touch version has enough.
